Noro_Kasuri |

Yes. Red and yellow are down. Someone can delete them, or I'll do it this afternoon.
which is why Noro wants to punch reck (maybe more than once)

GM Choon |

2d20 ⇒ (6, 18) = 24
2d6 ⇒ (6, 2) = 8
The two sailors you have confronted turn to defend themselves. Blue dodges Durvin's blade, but fails to connect with his own cutlass. Purple is more lucky. He darts to the side and stabs at Sarenth, scoring a good hit (for 3 damage)
The third crewman, green, has no scruples about fleeing a fight (obviously) and abandons his crewmates. He finishes launching the boat by cutting the last rope which sends the boat down in a free fall. He then shimmys down the ropes and into the boat.
Party up!

Noro_Kasuri |

reck, I'll explain later
Reck Take care of my light work Noro yells as she attempts to manuver around the enemies on deck and leap overboard after the one in the boat.
acrobatics check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
yeah take those Attacks
acrobatics to jump to the boat: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
swim check if needed: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

GM Choon |

2d20 ⇒ (11, 6) = 17
Noro dashes to the rail, blades barely missing her, and vaults over the edge. She lands with a mighty THUD on the small boat, sending it into a fit of wild rocking.

Noro_Kasuri |

reflex DC 15: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Going shomewhere? You might missh the party.
Noro grabs him by the scruff of his neck.
She wants to knock him out but I am not sure how that works? do I just punch for non-lethal? no I need an attack roll since he is cowering in fear? or is it like a coup de grace but non-lethal?

Noro_Kasuri |

probably need to wait though unless the whole jump in the boat was only a move action
if she can still get the attack in this round
Noro goes for a sleeper hold to bring the sailor down
grapple attempt: 1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 9 + 1 = 16 (+1 from Durvin's inspire)

Reck'Avok |

I'd like to charge the sailor that Durvin's fighting. If the stairs up to the poop deck constitute 'difficult terrain' I can't pull it off, but I like to think I can hurdle down them pretty easily.
Reck looks on in admiration as Noro foolhardily jumps into the boat. Atta girl!.
Returning his focus to the battlefield, Reck spots the gentle halfling in combat with a sailor and charges in for the assist.
bite attack, charging: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 1 + 2 = 16 -2 if you decide I can't charge
damage: 1d4 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 = 6
Reck's AC is 14 this round due to charging

Durvin Tamish |

Durvin feels a little in the way as the big guys, and girls, come down to handle the escapees. So he takes a step back, puts away his rapier, and belts out the next refrain to his song. He decides that he will switch to his bow, and maybe be a little more effective.
5' step backward (toward the stairs, can't update the map right now)
Move action, sheath rapier
Standard, restart Bard song rotation.

Isabella Valencia |

Isabella chuckles as the brutish half-orc savages his foes, snapping back to focus as the lifeboat disappears from view. She dashes past Durvin and Reck, sending her whiptail flying ahead of her.
attack, whip: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
damage: 1d3 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

GM Choon |

2d20 ⇒ (8, 20) = 28
2d6 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5
1d20 ⇒ 12
1d6 ⇒ 4
Noro's snuggle buddy struggles in vain to break her choke. The combined assault of Reck and Isabella proves too much for Blue. He collapses to the deck. Purple parties Sarenth's attack and nimbly strikes back. Only a lucky flinch keeps Sarenth from getting hit in the neck. Instead the cutlass delivers a nasty gash to his collar bone for 3
Party up!

Reck'Avok |

claw/claw/bite/spellstrike Brand
claw: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13
claw: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 4 + 1 = 15
damage: 1d4 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 = 8
bite: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 1 = 14
DC 15 concentration: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Reck continues to attack his previous target, with only middling success.

Noro_Kasuri |

Noro twists the sailor into a painful position driving his face into the bottom of the boat.
grapple check: 1d20 + 9 + 1 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 9 + 1 + 5 = 28 (+1 bard song, +5 controlling the grapple)
damage: 1d6 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 1 = 13
dealing non-lethal to take a prisoner

Durvin Tamish |

Durvin draws his shortbow, grabs and nocks an arrow, and plinks it toward the man surrounded by Reck and Sarenth. His shot goes well wide of its mark however, flying over the rail into the waves below.
Lingering song for rounds 8 (this round) & 9
Move, draw shortbow
5' step sideways
Attack purple with Shortbow 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 1 + 1 - 4 - 4 = 4 (+bard song, +higher ground, -cover, -melee)

Isabella Valencia |

attack whip: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
damage: 1d3 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
The exertion of the battle taking it's toll, Isabella seems to lose a little of her edge as her whip snaps empty air near the sailor's face. she moves in closer to help prevent his escape.

GM Choon |

Round 6
Noro introduces her newest friend to the deck face-first and knocks the poor soul cold. Reck and Sarenth double team the other sailor and manage to take him to the deck, in spite of a decently effective defence.
2d20 + 0 ⇒ (13, 11) + 0 = 24
1d20 ⇒ 4
You hear scuffing from across the the deck. A Man's Promise officer and two sailors are trying to lower the other boat!
All around you the battle looks to be in the Wormwood's favor. These three are clearly trying to escape the lost battle. The one sailor starts working on the ropes for this boat while the other two stand guard. The officer carries a long pike.
Party up!

Reck'Avok |

Seeing the situation on this side of the ship is under control, Reck whirls about to engage the fleeing sailors.
charging two squares south and biting blue
bite, charging, inspired by durvin: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 1 + 2 = 27
damage: 1d4 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 = 7
AC is 14 this round due to charging

Sarenth |

Sarenth will follow Reck at a less reckless pace and slam his quarterstaff at the face of the bitten sailor.
Quarterstaff: 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 + 1 = 15
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
AC is still 20 if they want me.

Durvin Tamish |

Durvin reacts with the others to once again prevent others from escaping, as that was one of their key tasks. He strides across the aft deck, to stand above the man in the back with the pike. He fires again, but it seems his lack of desire to kill betrays him once more, as his shot is weak. So he calls out to his allies, to let them know he can support them in other ways, "Tell me if you are seriously hurt, I can help you."
Last round of Lingering song (you sure this is round 6? Durvin has acted 9 times, and I don't think I've taken extras)
Move to opposite side
Attack officer with Shortbow 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 12 (+bard song, +higher ground), if that actually hits 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Noro_Kasuri |

noro will be occupied for a bit as she hauls the unconcious sailor back up to the main deck.
Once there she will ensure that the long boat is tied off so it will not drift away.
If he starts to wake up Noro will "accidentially" bump his head into the hull of the ship as she climbs.
how many rounds do you think this will take? also can she maintain rage while climbing?

GM Choon |

Reck and Sarenth are turning into quite the Duo of Doom as they down yet another sailor. Isabella, seeing her target overwhelmed, skillfully brings her whips around in a looping crack on Red.
Noro can make it up the ropes while hauling the sailor in one rounds with a DC 15 climb check (two rounds with DC 10). Then a move action equivalent DC 10 Prof:sailor check to make sure the ropes are secured. You could maintain rage while climbing as you are still technically in combat, even if you're not directly fighting.
As for round count, I am no longer sure this is round 6. If durvin has acted 9 times, that would make this next round number 10.
2d20 ⇒ (20, 12) = 32
1d20 ⇒ 6
1d6 ⇒ 2
2d8 ⇒ (6, 2) = 8
The Officer confidently orders her underling to attack. Then she mutters a word of arcane power and her long pike magically doubles in length! She deftly strikes at Reck, and drives her suddenly long range weapon through his defence and deep into his gut (a nat 20 crit for 16 damage).
Her henchman is less lucky. He steps up and engages Isabella, but she smoothly dodges his cutlass.
Party up!

Sarenth |

Knowing he can't do anything to help Reck, Sarenth steps inside the officer's longer range, hoping that she won't be able to shorten it in time. He swings his quarterstaff at the officer's fingers, trying to knock the pike free.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28 Is she casting a spell to make the pike larger, or does it appear to be a magical pike?
Quarterstaff Disarm: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 I don't think Inspire affects combat maneuvers. Yay provoking from somebody who can't strike back (I hope).

Reck'Avok |

Please don't pull punches or fudge rolls or anything like that on my behalf. Sometimes the dice go against you and characters die. Such is the nature of the game. I shan't be mad nor upset if Reck dies, I have plenty of characters waiting for their turn to be played
Reck roars in agony and sprays blood from his mouth as he is delt a grevious wound.
Either I die here or I owe Sandara again, I'm NOT dying slow from a gut wound!
"Takes...more than that t'kill..an orc!"
casting True Strike and taking a 5 foot step southwest

Noro_Kasuri |

climb check DC 15: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 (+1 more from Durvin?)
profession sailor: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
looks like Noro will spend the round climbing

Durvin Tamish |

Almost as if upon request, Reck takes a hit that clearly shows Durvin he will need help. Durvin is excited to do so. He rushes down the stairs and lays a healing hand on the big man, "I hope this helps. Don't worry, I'll be nearby when... if you need more." Out of his concern, his song ends, he forgot to pick up the next refrain in his rush to help his friend.
Move to Reck
Cast CLW on him for 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Sorry, No Bard song this round. This was his round to reinitiate it, but he needed the standard to heal. I'll try to restart it next round.

definately need harmonic spell feat
also Durvin is sooooo inspirational to Noro she gets an extra +1 after the effect ends right?

Noro_Kasuri |

He was only doing Inspire Courage anyways, which only adds to attacks, damage, and saves against charm and fear. It wouldn't have affected her climb either way.
Noro is a barbarian, everything is an attack roll

Noro_Kasuri |

"I try to haggle down the inkeep" "make an attack roll" "I want to craft a rowboat" "make an attack roll" "I want to seduce the princess" "make an attack roll"
Haggle=slang for punch to the face
craft a boat=blasted wood won't cut right, whack it with a swordseduce the princess=punch Reck for suggesting Noro kiss a girl
see---attack rolls

Isabella Valencia |

ROFL!!! Is it just me or did Reck find a theme song?!
Watching with astonishment as the officer's pike grows to enormous length, Isabella can't help but chuckle at a dirty thought. As she moves into range to bring her whip down on the wielder's face, she grimaces at the impaling blow suffered by Reck.
"Bear in mind you'll likely suffer similar punishment when we're through with ye, poppet!"
5-ft step.
attack, whip: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
damage: 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

GM Choon |

Sarenth - You determine she did not cast, therefore the staff must be magical
2d20 ⇒ (13, 5) = 18
2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8
The officer curses loudly as the pike gets caught by Sarenth's staff and clatters to the ground. It immediately reverts to it's normal ten foot self. She glares at Sanenth and steps up to place the squishy wizard between her and her remaining comrade just after Isabella's whip cracks by her ear. A finely crafted short sword slides from a scabbard at her hip as she moves and she engages Sarenth with a vengeance. The sailor takes the hint and joins in the assault. Sarenth is forced to defend himself on two fronts. The officer takes advantage and slides her blade into his ribs. (for 5).

Sarenth |

Sarenth grits his teeth against the pain. I'm insane if I thought this would work. Stupid wizard! Taking a step backward from the officer, Sarenth smacks the sailor currently menacing Isabella.
Quarterstaff: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 1 + 2 = 15
