Isabella follows her group, but scrunches her nose in dispproval at Plugg's attitude towards his crew.

What captain doesn't want his crew t'come back? Is he completely off his roger, or did somethin' happen with those two that's got 'im sore?

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

The row ashore is no holiday. The sea is shallow with reefs here and the mile-long slog to the shore is difficult. As you approach, you spot no safe harbor or beach. A choice stands before you. East, or West?

"Seems we have a conundrum here. My dad always used to say left is right and right is wrong, but that's just my way of thinking."

Male Halfling Sea-Singer Bard 4 (AC: 17 [T: 14 /F: 14]; HP: 26/26; F+1, R+7, W+4; Init: +3; Perc: +9)

Durvin chuckles at the saying, enjoying the carefree attitude of it, "Well, that sounds like as good a reason as any other we got to go any particular direction."

I don't know if we're heading North or South, so whichever direction is left of us.
Unless either a Knowledge Nature 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 or Survival 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 tell me otherwise.

Reck bristles at Durvin. "We don't 'ave t' 'ave a full crew. Just enough t'keep a sail up and man th' 'elm. We make it t' port like that, then recruit a full crew again."

left or right

Reck doesn't seem to care, and waits at his oar for everyone to figure it out.

Male Halfling Sea-Singer Bard 4 (AC: 17 [T: 14 /F: 14]; HP: 26/26; F+1, R+7, W+4; Init: +3; Perc: +9)

Durvin looks at the big man curiously, "We don't need a full crew, correct, which for a ship that size is about twenty. We just need a minimal crew, which is roughly about half the full. Based on who is with us and who is against us, though, removing Plugg, Scourge, and his cronies may find us with too few people to have the minimal. Which, is why it is vital that we find Ambrose and Sandara. We need everyone we can get."

Half-Orc

"Damned right we're finding Ambrose an' Sandara. I owe 'er for too much t' just let 'er get eated by some squid-goblin things. Wouldn't mind seein' Plugg an' Scourge suffering afore they die, though."

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

You were headed north, so you veer to the left, west. The cliff looks large on your right, surf throwing massive plumes of mist into the air. It takes you several hours of hard rowing, but you finally arrive at a sandy, shallow beach of smooth sand. Coconut trees sway a couple dozen yards from the shore.

Noro simply works the oars with Reck.

Maybe we can work out a proshioner exchange. we given them Plugg and Scourge, for Sandra and Kroops

hard to tell if Noro is serious or not.

Female human fighter/3 HP 26/26 AC: 12 F:3 R:3 W:-1 init:+2 perc:-2

Isabella stifles a chuckle at Noro's likely jest, helping to pull the boat ashore and checking her gear.

"Ask me, we definitely get the sweeter end o'that accord. Not before I show Scourge how to use a whip properly, though." she removes her lashes from her belt and snaps the air with both in unison, both to dry the leather and to accentuate her point.

The Man. The Myth. The Mask!

At the noise of snapping, three massive crabs appear from the jungle shadows under the palm trees and click their claws menacingly.

Not really, but I'll allow you full spell compliments and such if you've expended any.

There also isn't really a map necessary if youall proceed with the fight. There are three giant, angry crabs contesting your invasion of their beach. Who wants lunch. :)

You may land and beach the boat (for now) as two move actions as if two of you jump out and heave it up just enough so it won't float away.

Crabs are going after Sarenth? Mad Initiative skills, crustaceans.

Sarenth casts one of his defensive buffs and then helps with the rowing.

Mage Armor. If he has time, he'll cast Shield as well.

Half-Orc

Reck hops out of the boat as its bottom starts to grit along the sand of the shoreline. Planting his feet solidly in the surf, Reck heaves the boat on land, then turns to face the crabs. He summons a bit of magic into his good right hand and prepares to fight.

The glob of acid neatly smacks into one of the crab's eyes, but he seems to have only made it angry. It's other eye rotates and locks onto Sarenth.

Isabella hops out of the boat once it stops on sand, drawing her cutlass.

she advances on that same crab accelerating a bit with each step to give her the momentum she needs to come down with an elbow smash on the crab's hard shell.

The crabs converge on the two intruders who approached them. A flurry of snips and dodges ensues. Reck and Noro are both caught by the fast moving pincers (for 3 damage each). Reck manages to twist out of getting held. Noro however doesn't quite have the leverage to break free of her attacker's grasp (and takes an additional 3 damage from constrict. Noro is now grappled).

Reck makes quick work of his target. His claws and teeth crunch through the shell in yet another gruesome display of violent gore.

Isabella's whip snaps between shell joints, causing the crab to reel back in pain. Her lash as the added benefit of throwing the crab fully off balance. It's attempts to re-establish control over Noro fail miserably.
The other standing crab scuttles over to avange his fallen companion, but misses Reck by a good margin.

Round 3. Party up.
