"Woah woah, maybe, one door at a time? Or at least lets close the previous door,"
He'll run over and close the fungus' door.

![]() |

Miyako leaves the yucky stuff behind and moves to the next door, Beauregard quickly closes the door where the fungus people are behind her.
As Miyako opens the next door you see a circular room, the walls of which are covered in painted scenes of fear and torment. The stone ceiling rises in a craggy dome that is haphazardly carved with disembodied eyes, talons, fangs, and other monstrous features. In the center of the room, rusty brown stains run down from a circular dais, which holds a stained marble bowl and a collection of rusty daggers. A jagged black rune covers up most of the floor. Tattered and moldy bedrolls are pushed into the corners of the room.

![]() |

Kelson doesn't note any trouble.
Master Mido identifies that the symbol inlaid in the floor is indeed the rune of Lamashtu, goddess of madness, monsters, and nightmares.
Nuk is carrying the contraband is that correct?

![]() |

"Indeed, and a foul place it is. Let's conclude whatever business we need to do and leave this wretched place. We will likely have to deal with those fungus creatures, and it may be best to do so while I carry my magical enhancements..."
Giltman will wait for the rest of the group to agree, but would like to go deal with the fungi if they will go along with it.

![]() |

Bo slides behind Miyako to look into the room, "Eek, this doesn't look like a good room either, should we try door number 3 or just try our luck?"
He'll look back and around at his companions, Perception, anything out of the ordinary, like the contraband is vibrating or doing something crazy?: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

![]() |

"I'd personally prefer to avoid the fungi room, as we have no business there."
Miyako points at the door in the southeast part of the round room. "Shall we go there? I expect the other door leads us to the fungi room."
I'm fine with it if you really want to go to the fungi, but to Miyako it doesn't make a lot of sense right now to fight random fungi creatures.

![]() |

Nuk is carrying the contraband is that correct?
That is correct.

![]() |

"Yes, Miyako, let's go that way. I don't want to have to fight anyone unless it's absolutely necessary." Elska smiles at her friend. "C'mon Nuk. I know it's scary down here, but we gotta keep moving."

![]() |

Flashing a grin and a thumbs up, "Luckily, I'm always armed, no matter when combat breaks out!" With a small chuckle, Bo'll stride boldly into the room.

I moved everyone, presuming we're all going.

Awhile turned into an exhausting day, glad to be able to sit down with some Pathfinder
Nuk DC15 Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
As you cross the room, Nuk suddenly stops in his tracks and retreats, as if he had just seen something unsettling. With a little coaxing Elska is able to get him to move forward, but Nuk is clearly shaken.
As in the Shaken condition
By this time Miyako has already opened the next door to reveal a room filled with tools, barrels of water, and other mundane items. A door leads to the north, another door is straight across, a passageway leads south, and yet another door leads back to the west.

![]() |

Nuk trumpets as he retreats, urinating on the floor, before Elska can coax him forward again.
The room gains a strong musky urine odor.

![]() |

"There, there, boy. It's ok. That's quite the mess you made." Elska tries to calm Nuk.
"Who's a good little mammut?" She hand-feeds him a couple of nuts from her pocket.
Handle Animal: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
"Watch your step, Bo. Don't wanna slip on our way back out."

![]() |

"What is wrong with your long-nosed friend, Elska? Does he sense something?"

![]() |

"I don't know. I've never seen him like this. Something has him spooked."

![]() |

Well I suppose being this far underground is somewhat unusual for most land walking mamals...
Mido muses as he rubs his chin.

![]() |

Miyako takes a look around the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
"My gut tells me we have to continue this way," Miyako says as she points at the southeast door in the next room.
She does however not move to the door, instead moving to the corridor southwest. "But you should always first check what's around each corner before you open a next door..."

![]() |

Miyako sees that the passage goes around 15 feet before opening to the south and also continues on, also curving slightly to the south further on.

![]() |

Bo'll step toward a nearby door and kick it open, try to kick it open, looking around to see if anyone saw, "Uh, leg spasm. . ."
Strength: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
He'll then proceed to just open the door.

![]() |

As he goes to kick Beauregard slips on a wet spot on the floor. After the failed kick, he opens the door to find this room is a makeshift
barracks. Stacked cots and personal belongings line the north wall. A door is in the west wall.

![]() |

"Bo, wait a sec!"
Miyako can't hold back her curiosity and takes a peek around the next corner of the corridor.

![]() |

As Miyako peeks around the corner she sees a wide, open chamber which smells of rotten flesh and harsh chemicals. A curved workbench with dozens of drawers sits against the southern wall of this room, its surface covered with surgical tools, body parts, and alchemical items. On the workbench, a hairless six-legged rat the size of a housecat floats in a vat of blue liquid. The creature’s body is covered in surgical wounds that have been carefully sutured shut.
A much larger version of the six-legged rat lies on the floor lazily watching the passageway. Behind it a wayang works feverishly at the table.
Miyako go ahead and give me a Stealth check, unless you aren't trying to be stealthy.

"What do you see? My room is empty,"

The rat creature doesn't seem to notice Miyako.

![]() |

Miyako sneaks back to her allies. "There's a rat the size of a supersized Nuk in there, along with a wayang who's doing creepy stuff."
She peeks into Bo's empty room. "Shall we check what's behind the door in your empty room first, before we confront the wayang and his way-too-large vermin?"

![]() |

"That is an unusual size for a rodent." Elska thinks aloud. "Is there any way around?"

![]() |

"I saw other corridors, but one was in the room and I don't know if the other is a way around it."

![]() |

Holding his potion at the ready, "I don't like leaving a potential enemy at my back, let's take care of this Mammut-sized rat and the Wayang,"
Bo'll creep up the corridor behind Miyako.
Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

"Wait for me. I'm coming too."
Elska turns to Nuk and tells him to stay. Handle Animal, take 10: 10 + 10 = 20
She then draws her bow and heads off down the hallway with Bo and Miyako.

Stealth: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Whoops...
Miyako moves back to the room with the rat, but trips when she moves past Elska and Bo. She falls flat on her face, quickly jumps back up, and draws her rapier in a state of total fluster.
"En garde, b!tches!" Miyako yells at the rat and wayang, pointing her rapier at them.
Grandma: Smooth...

![]() |

Sorry RL is super hectic and I've been sick to booot...
Mido had been stnading by silent as a mouse unnoticed even by his allies but now it was time for action and the wise old Gnome was ready.

![]() |

The wayang spins around and the rat creature jumps to his 6 feet, as Miyako stumbles, then announces her presence rapier in hand.
Oh my! Have you come for a fight my dear...then come try my pet! The wayang says in a surprised tone.
