Map now updated- they didn't provide a map for this so had to borrow one from another source
"You have meddled in things that were not your concern, you will hand over the warden's badge, the seasage effigy, the wolf pack's heart and the raven's head mace now or I will destroy you."
As the rider says this the mist clears and you can see that the horseman has no head. He is also riding a horse that is covered in flames.

Knowledge (religion): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
"Many have tested themselves against us and been destroyed. You should reconsider your threat."

Ortensia Obsidia Deepheavy |

Hm. Curious. This is my first time meeting a dullahan, shame in itself under such circumstances. I bet you would have made a thrilling conversationalist. Ortensia took in the rider's appearance, deducing what they were and their nature.
Spell resistance. Offensive fire abilities. Continuing to live despite lack of a head. Exceptional warriors both on foot and on horseback.
With a stiff bow, Ortensia introduced herself in a show affable politeness.Ortensia Obsidia Deephevy, occultist and one of the late Professor Lorrimor's pupils. At first here to pay respects to him, only to find him murdered by the Whispering Way. Now avenging his murder and those who fell pray to the cult's machinations along the way.

Ortensia Obsidia Deepheavy |

Ortensia, eyes smiling grimly above her mask, she spread her arms as though dismissing the rider's insistence of their names. As the appointed leader of this funeral party, I must decline your request. There is no need for my companions names as I suspect you are simply falsely affable. You wish to collect the items you believe we carry for your dark masters.
I think I just signed my freaking death warrant introducing myself. Guess we can only gird our loins.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18Sense Motive

Tessara Omelian |

”Im Tessara. Pleasure to meet you, as it is. My companions are correct. If we’ve been powerful enough to reclaim these items you seek, what makes you think we wouldn’t be powerful enough to keep them from you. Why do you want them? Perhaps our paths might lead in the same direction....”
Diplomacy 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (18) + 18 = 36

Ortensia Obsidia Deepheavy |

Ortensia sighed, her breath a hollow bark with her mask. She gave a shake of her head.
Pity, then. As our pugilist said prior, you shall fall with the rest that have impeded our way. Whether the Whispering Way, skum, slugspawn, or Dark Young, you and those like shall become mere stairs of our ascension.
Mind Over Gravity activated.
Her feet left the ground, rising to hover effortlessly upon power of her Psychic power with hardly a thought. She brandished the Ravenshead mace, fingering its hilt thoughtfully.
Since you insist.

Wait, the horse skedaddle? Like a summon?
Ortensia floated over the downed dullahan, startling when the horse he had been astride popped from beneath like a soap bubble and sending him spilling into a heap in the dirt. She seemed unsure, Ravenshead gripped in both hands.
...T-That's it?
Paranoid it was trick, she gave the body another whack. Just to be sure.
