While Darst is very good at remaining silent and unnoticed when he wants to, he can't turn invisible and the little demon (ok, I don't feel like saying 'the little creature' multiple times so, yes, it's a quasit) noticed the open doors during his absence. And so, when Darst leaves the other behind and tries to slip by the door unnoticed, she spots and frowns at him. Despite her small size, she speaks the common tongue with a low and raspy voice. "You have lots of nerrrveesss to come in this holy place sssneaking and unannounced, goblinoid. Who'ssss creature arrre you? Arrre you one of the lackeysss of that pointy-ear half-brrreed? Perhapsss, like that other one, you ssseek the enlightenment of the Mother of Monstersss? Speak now! Or face my Wrrrath."
Darst shakes. He stands still for a long moment, mouthing words, too terrified by the tiny creature to answer. Finally, he finds his voice. "Y-yes, l-l-lady. I's, um, wants to know abouts...the plan. Is very nice plan, and...you's so smart, and f-favoured by Mother, I's think you might be able to t-tell stupid goblin like I. What's is...lighting--tenment--lightenment? Why we raiding towns?" He hesitates. "Or...if you, um, isn't wants to tell right nows, b-because you's busy being...in charge, and yes, maybe I cans...play pipes for you! I knows how to play pipes, and you's heard better and yes, but maybe it help you work on...important stuff you's doing."

Izbahn says to Darst in a calming voice, once he has moved away from the door, "Relax, Darst, you don't need to drink it, I think we will have naomi check the water out, she should be able to tell if the water is befouled in some way."
He leads the group back to the shrine and awaits Naomi to check it out...

"Shouldn't I go in there and kill that thing?"
Amrunelara lays a hand on Venmirl's shoulder not taking her eyes off the door. She speaks in a hushed tone, Soon...Izbahn is right, answers are needed but as soon as we have them...or the goblin messes up...we must be ready.
She focuses intently on the ajar door, bends her knees and places her hand on the hilt of the curve blade on her back, ready to fight at a moments notice.

Izbahn's right. This altar looks like it could have been used for baptisms or.. sacrificies. I can't tell if this water is poisoned, but it certainly wouldn't be good for Darst to drink it. That being said, if we want information, what choices do we have?"
Amrunelara does'nt move from her position or take her eyes off the door whilst she speaks, keeping her voice low.
"Agreed. It is only dirt he should be used to that. Or lie, he should be good at that too. Either way hurry, Demon's are not renowned for being the most patient of creatures."

Izbahn says to Darst, "I will not force you to do this Darst, but any chance we have for the info we should take it. If you feel ok with bluffing your way, I will understand, but like Amrunelara says, we do not have much time. Please decide quickly."
Darst hesitates. "I's bad liar...." he mumbles under his breath. He jerkily approaches the basin and, cupping a bit of the water in his hands, takes a small sip.

While the water tastes foul his mouth, Darst somehow also finds it soothing and refreshing. The goblin feels it in his throat leaving a strong tingling sensation as it slowly goes down.

For the record, it specifically says in my profile that if I'm turned into any sort of undead, I hunt down those responsible. I hope you read that, Izbahn.

Darst lose 7 points of intelligence and is down to 2 (those will heal normally, i.e. it's not ability drain). KC, while Darst's stats aren't too affected by this lost, I'd still like if you tried to roleplay the 2 points of intelligence. I leave the details up to you but, for example, he could have difficulty talking, remembering stuff, concentrating, etc...

Izbahn rushes over to Darst, and examines him quickly, Heal check, 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18. Immediately seeing the effects of the water on Darst, a murderous rage ignites in his eyes. He says quietly, but with a lethal tone, "Now, we do this the hard way. We go in and hit her hard!" He glares at Amrunelara, and says, "Guess who goes first?'

Darst gasps and lies still. Slowly, he gets up. He looks around in confusion, and he doesn't seem to recognise Venmirl or Korven. He snarls at Amrunelara, then crawls over to Izbahn and hugs himself tight to the mage's leg. He seems completely terrified.

Darst looks up nervously. He doesn't move. If Izbahn starts to leave, though, he quickly follows, huddling by the wizard's legs. He avoids the elf.
Since I try to be consistent with the goblin language, I've taken all the words in Goblin that have been spoken and translated what I could. The result is in my profile. This isn't set in stone, and is only for my own sake, so none should feel obliged to follow it.

Amrunelara softens her stance turning to look at the pathetic little creature scurrying around. He has reverted to his true self. I must be onguard
The elven warrior turns back to the door, bends her knees and runs... she kicks the door open and darts foward, drawing her exotic blade as she goes.
I'm assuming the light spell Izbahn cast earlier is still active? If so Amrunelara looks around for the demon and charges. Continuing to attack each round. If the light is not active she runs towards the nearest light source.

The room beyond is huge and has very high domed ceilings, in fact it looks like nothing more than an immense underground cathedral. The walls are carved with strange, spiky runes. In the center of the room is a large pool, a ring of polished human skulls balanced on stone spikes arranged in a circle around the deeper midsection. At the far end of the room, a pair of stone stairways leads up to a pulpit on which sits a second pool, this one triangular and filled with churning, bubbling water that looks almost like translucent lava. Yet while wisps of what look like heat and steam rise from the strange orange liquid, the room is deathly cold. Standing next to the triangular pool is a very small and thin creature with feminine traits. This creature seems smaller even then Darst, barely measuring a foot and a half from head to toes. She's wearing a black gown and has scaly skin and curly horns. A pair of bat wings sprout out of her back.

Well, it's just easier to understand each other but if it totally ruins your immersion, I'll try to find some other work around. Anyway, while I'm at it here's a little note on movement in this room. Moving up the stairs cost double (same as difficult terrain).

Venmirl enters the room just behind Amrunelara and runs up the second set of stairs to make a sort of pincer attack on the little demon. Izbahn is also close behind and he unleashes a magical bolt of pure force at the quasit. The little monster grunts in pain as the magic missile hits her with perfect accuracy. Naomi also enters the room and launches a missile of her own with her sling. The bullet isn't magically guided however and misses the small target by a wide margin. Darst is still confused by the ordeal of drinking the foul water and confuses the central pool of water for a fountain. Remarkably, he doesn't fall in the water, escaping another bath for now.
The quasit seems outraged. "Enemiessss From Above in MY Domain! SSSacrrilegiousss! Infidelsss in the Mother'sss SSSanctum!" Before Amrunelara or Venmirl can get to her, the little monster uses her tiny talons to cut herself in the palm of her hand. A single drop of her dark blood falls into the strange triangular pool of orange fluid. The pool's bubbling and light emission diminish* slightly. Amrunelara and Venmirl, who are high enough to see into the pool, can observe the tiny drop of blood as it grows amazingly fast into a fully formed humanoid monster. It looks just like the ones the group encountered in the tunnels at the complex's entrance. It quickly climbs out of the pool, dripping wet. The monster looks around, its aberrant maw apparently eager to taste flesh. The quasit smirks and then concentrates for a fraction of a second. Suddenly, she simply disappears from view.

The monster looks around, its aberrant maw apparently eager to taste flesh.
A feeling of dread washes over Amrunelara as she watches the beast magically form. Rage and pain swirl through her mind as she recalls her last encounter with one of these beasts.
Approaching the monster cautiously she keeps her guard up before lashing out with a defensive strike.
Can't see the map from work but hopefully amrunelara can reach the beast. She moves up to it and attacks with combat expertise activated

Actually, I went on the edge of the pool. The fountain was just me getting mixed up, but it wasn't an indication of any other error.
Darst stands on the edge of the pool (Balancing 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15)and looks around. He listens intently.
Spending my turn listening for the quasit (Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 and she has a +20 to her Stealth for being invisible if she's intentionally sneaking). That's a move action, so if I pinpoint the quasit, I target her (Jump 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22 if necessary). Otherwise, I keep listening (Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24)
