D raises his palm and launches a ball of sand at the fear ring. The sand is absorbed into the ring and grows as if to be displaced by it, and then the ring appears less bright as the sand streams out, obviously weakening it. Gallix unfortunately fails to figure out just how the magical ring works in his attempt to disable it.

Then, a rumble. The walls shake violently. A tremor splits the ground between Mr. Peppers' feet. An arm shoots out from the earthy wall to the east. Then a leg. And then the whole head of a stone velociraptor! Two clay statues animate and lurch forward, hefting wickedly spiked maces!

The green guardian moves forward, each step crushing anything in its path, and sneaks up behind Gallix, whacking him in the back with its morningstar. An evil red aura forms where the weapon lands on Gallix's back, then fades.

Uesugi's cut pattern is more of a slanted L than a Z with him losing his grip during the second slice. Regardless, the blade pierces deep into the construct's armor, tearing out a large enough chunk that its body is now concave in appearance.

A slow and steady patter of droplets falling from the cavern ceiling turns into a stream, then a full-on magical waterfall. Before long, a pool forms behind the red guardian, and an old friend jumps out.

"Hey! You called?" Vaporia frowns as she surveys the scene. "Oh no, that just won't do."

Almost instantaneously at Madame Poshkettle's yell for "Help!" he watches as the blue skinned Vaporia appears. Hoping that she will at least help defend the others Uesugi returns to the opponent in front of him.

"Little Dragon fall back! I will deal with this one!"

Uesugi attacks with the fury of caged beast looking to connect with the already weakened frame of the mechanical horror.

Gallix awakens!

Uesugi really hates that Gallix was knocked out and so he hones his anger, unleashing a furious set of strikes, removing both of the guardian's arms and then its velociraptor head. The rest of it goes crashing to the ground!

Sir D blasts the remaining guardian with a barrage of sand and throws it into the polyhedron, unleashing an electric storm that consumes it whole.

And just like that, combat is over!

Sugi, which circle do you mean?

Vaporia freezes the fear circle and Sir D blasts it, crumbling it into a thousand shards of red glass! Fear ring is DOWN! All of the others have taken some damage from the Cone of Cold.

Sirettis' rain of ice seems to have little effect on the circles, likely owing to their natural hardness.

With the Fear Circle down, Longjing swoops in and gets a good look at the Orb. Its shimmering panels wane for a moment, and he catches a glimpse of a strange elemental koan that stretches across two of the facets: My heart burns like fire, but my eyes are as cold as dead ashes.

Uesugi strikes furiously at the rings, and it turns out that Vaporia's cone of cold and Sirettis' frost spell have weakened them enough that the remaining four rings all crumble under the weight of his blade.

Because the text was ambiguous with RAW, I had to go with GM fiat and rule that the energy damage dealt half damage. In my eyes, you kept your Allies benefit until now, and it just so happened that your water veela had a very useful spell. So, smash go the circles.

Mr. Peppers deciphers another two puzzle pieces, and among the minerals, he spies the shape of a water genie depicted with a dozen of her kind being entombed in an enormous ice cube.

Just waiting on Gallix's action now.

Finally, Gallix identifies two more facets of the polyhedron, one depicting a planet exploding violently, the next with the image of a sprawling asteroid belt.

I need to go report these and then we'll move onto more guardians! Luckily, the lack of an Earth circle means they will be weakened.
