Lotus Larina |
Im sorry GM but you have lost me a bit,
Round 1 you has us as
Kaz 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 30
Thogg 28
Hali 27
Tik tik 24
Scythe People:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Lotus 20
Tesh:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Erinyes:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
That's Tesh after me.
imitative 11
After My go you said he -
Tesh is suddenly easier to see, and begins to fall.
I will rule that falling provokes. Thogg you get an AoO.
---------------------------------------------
Standing up as a swift action, and getting the extra attack are two different options. You can choose one or the other.
As a swift action he reapplies the displacement.
Casting defensively--1st level spell, can't even fail on a 1.
Next standard action. Drop dispel magic on Lotus--cast defensively, also can't fail on a 1.
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34 vs 26
knowledge (Arcana):1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32
PS:The second standard action was not an error. :)
That gets rid of the top 3 spells affecting Lotus.
spell 1: Holy Aura.
spell 2: Shield of the Dawnflower.
spell 3: Blessing of Fervor.
"Kill the cleric.", he says.
============================
Is that his action for round 2??
Because you also said
No he does not require a concentration check. When fly is dispelled you don't plummet to the ground, not only that he was only 5 ft up, and you have to fall 10 feet before damage is taken. Even then damage had to be taken during the act of casting, not before he cast which would have happened on the dispel turn, not his turn.
I thought is was Round not Turn or that would mean never as imitative is always worked out to find who gos before with Dex.
If his action is in round to I have yet to go which would mean
Two x two attacks from Blessing of Fervor before his Despell?
Greater Dispell + another full attack and the
my next go in round 2 and two more full attacks.
Then his greater dispel hits
Why because I get AC+4 form Holy Aura and tuck
Make one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its highest base attack bonus.
from Blessing of Fervor
So before he cast Great Despel back at me I get two attacks at him,
Thats my understanding
Watcher Uatu |
Init 20-Lotus turn:
Lotus you cast dispel magic. That got rid of his flying. He floats/falls to the ground.
Thogg got an AoO, but this all happened on your turn.
Tesh is already done falling. He is not prone when he falls.
Init 11-Tesh's turn
The falling is already completed.
He is not free to cast without worrying about falling because it has already happened.
------------------------------------------
When I was posting about standing up as a swift action it was because when you gave your Blessing of Fervor options you chose two options.
If I can use this
Stand up as a swift action without provoking an attack of opportunity.
Make one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its highest base attack bonus, to cast another spell ill cast.
I should have put in another "------------------------", before listing what Tesh was doing. I do see the confusion now.
------------------------------------------------------------
His round 2 actions consisted of him using an SLA to cast a buff, and casting greater dispel magic.
Kazimier Tumaz |
What does the force energy do?
Kaz swings at Tesh, but fails to connect on any of his attacks.
Tesh looks at Tik-Tik, Kaz, and finally Thogg. "Three attackers, one real threat. Sorry you get to die first."
Force energy is just another energy type it have no special effect, but it is like magic missile it usually bypasses most Energy resistances because it is uncommon
Lotus Larina |
are I see so, yep I was going to use - Make one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its highest base attack bonus, ( prone was my mistake in not separating them, I want do another attack on him in round 1 that was always the idea. I think hes undead thats why I was trying to turn or harm them Any how if it is hes second round action then I still go before him and his Greater Dispel magic so I if im lucky I can ether stop him or make him role a really hard concentration roll.Lets hope the dice gods like me, so as we are at the stop of round 2 he has not yet said "kill the cleric" Im I right in this as it was posted in the second round action part
Watcher Uatu |
I thought this was your 1st round action. That is why I moved [b]everyone to round 2.
This is where I started round 2
If you never took your round 1 action then we might have to back track everything.
PS:Now that I see that first link again, you never actually posted any actions, just active spells.
PS2: Everyone standby. Lotus post what would have been your round 1 action, and I will decide how to handle things after that.
PS3: Since we are doing things in intiative order, everyone should feel free to speak up if I take actions for monster that does not until after you go. The only exception would probably be if you don't post in 48 hours. In that case I might skip your turn just to keep things moving.
Halistria D'Harvash |
Just to make sure I'm keeping up. We scouted. We buffed. Thogg smashed the door. Round 1 actions. Clarification of Round 1 effects. Round 1 AoOs. Round 2 just started with Kaz taking his action. More clarifying of Round 1 and Lotus (who I thought cast Greater Dispel as her action). And Clarifying Round 1 AoO for TikTik. Am I following?
Lotus Larina |
Sorry need to make clear, Lotus did in deed cast Greater Dispel Magic in Round 1 - That has not changed, I just wanted to have - Make one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its highest base attack bonus - ready in-case undead popped into being all around us (well me), as the AC buffs do not stank from HO to BoF, should have made that clear, I was not going to use it in round one but may have been of great use in round 2, sorry for the miss understandings.
Thogg Smashes-What-He-Hates |
Beating time! I continue to take +2 to hit, AC, and Reflex from Blessing of Fervor.

Above 50 means you miss, low rolls mean you hit, assuming you hit the AC of course.
1: 1d100 ⇒ 40 hit
2: 1d100 ⇒ 86 miss
3: 1d100 ⇒ 7 possible crit, crit confirmed.
4: 1d100 ⇒ 12 hit.
I need for you to start putting your damage on the second line, or putting something such as "|" before you start the dice code for damage.
Tesh's magic is not enough to protect him
There is a horrible cry as his body dissolves into dark energy. His undead servants jerk as if they are having convulsions, and then some dark substance leaves them also to join with Tesh. Moments later the same substance comes through the walls, seeming from all of the undead. The mass of energy then flies up through the roof. Tesh's items are left behind however.
The people in the pews, and the person lying down up front, do not move however. Whatever Tesh did to them is still in effect.
Thogg Smashes-What-He-Hates |
I don't know what's going on with their formatting. It didn't used to do that. I tried putting them on another line within the same tag already. I'll probably just have to put them in separate tags from now on.
Thogg shouts his victory with such fury that some small flakes of plaster float down from the ceiling. He looks around, seeking a new challenge and, finding none, shakes himself of his rage like a hound shaking off the rain.
"A good fight! A pity it was over so soon. He was going to try to kill me. That should have been interesting. But nothing like hunting a dragon! We should seek it next."
Thogg's eyebrows draw together. "Wait, why do these people not cheer my victory? What is wrong with them?"
Halistria D'Harvash |
Bravo Thogg! That was magnificent! But what in Shelyn's name is wrong with these people? Enthralled people are normally released upon the death of their captor.
Knowledge Arcana: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
(Any other Knowledge checks that would help?)
Hali would like to do a countersong to wake them up, if she can figure out what's wrong first.
Lotus Larina |
Lotus runs up to Thogg and checks to see he is well.
Patting him on the back.
"The goddess was with you this day Brave Thogg, your hands did righteously smash evil"
Then she runs to the alter and the person lying on it
looking her over and seeing what could be wrong as well as the others.
Breath of life can be used if needs be
1d20 + 19 ⇒ (7) + 19 = 26 Knowledge (Dungeon)
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22 Knowledge (Religion)
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22 Spellcraft
1d20 + 24 ⇒ (4) + 24 = 28 Heal
Then she takes a step back and with wings of light and all her spells going she called down the blessings of her goddess and casts.
Consecrate, 30 hours 20' radius
"By the light of the dawn flower, This please will be holy once more and all dark deeds will be cleaned away"
Halistria D'Harvash |
Because of the mighty Thogg's strength and boldness, Tesh did not have time to deliver his soliloquoy of evil... and tell us what he was up to. So let's just see if we can figure it out.
Halistria will explore around the altar trying to find out what Tesh was up to. (presuming Lotus already tended to the guy on the altar, but if not, she'll check on his health too.)
She can take 10 as a standard action on Knowledge Checks so...
(and take 20 as a standard action once per day, which she already used)

Watcher Uatu |
Hali you are able to figure out, by looking at the symbols that were on the alter that Tesh was about to change all of these people into the undead creatures that had scythes. You also notice he did not have a book or notes, which means he most likely had the entire procedure memorized, in order to avoid leaving any clues as to what he was up to.
Thogg you notice Tesh's gear, but that is about it.
Thogg Smashes-What-He-Hates |
Thogg looks through Tesh's things. He'll sort them into two piles. One pile of weapons and one pile of everything else. The everything else part is unlikely to be of interest to him but probably would be for anyone else. He'll also see if anything would make a decent trophy, though his foe evaporated.
Lotus Larina |
Lotus walks over and with at toutchng any thing places the things left by Thogg in her blanket and ties it up, Halistria can you take that out will I find some one to help me with the sick here.
I have blessed the Temple so we need to fine any Clerics that are left.
Watcher Uatu |
Lotus looks for poison in Tesh's belongs, but finds nothing. As Count Saleno is about to leave the building shakes, and a mighty roar is heard. Parts of the roof begin to fall into the temple along with fire. Some of the people while more alert than when you first entered, are still not really coherent. They are standing and seemingly able to follow instructions, but due to their drugged state are unable to dodge the debris. It seems the dragon has returned for a second assault.
Currently 2 people have been knocked unconscious.
Halistria D'Harvash |
Hali is torn between helping the still-staggered people within the temple, and helping Thogg confront the core of the problem.
Finally she decides. Lotus, I'm sorry. Do what you can for these people. The dragon is outside. They are usually extremely intelligent, and he may yet be reasoned with... if Thogg doesn't start using his own brand of diplomacy first.
With haste still up Hali double-moves toward the outside, and also re-grows her wings as a free action.
Tik-Tik |
Tik-Tik turns towards the entrance and hisses as he hears the dragon's roar. He takes flight again to follow Halistria, spear ready and waiting.
::You are ready to fight it your negotiations fail?:: He asks the elven woman.
Watcher Uatu |
As Hali summons helps, and the count clears the door the dragon would be attacking. Some of the hero's go outside, and by the time they are outside the dragon has moved on to the market place. He seems to be making a circle, and attacking various sections of the town, and he seems to be extremely fast for a dragon of his size.
Thogg Smashes-What-He-Hates |
Thogg leaps into the air, his powerful legs setting him quite airborne before the wings of his cloak even catch the wind. He loops upwards to about the altitude the dragon seems to be holding to and awaits its circling path.
"Tik-Tik, tell Lotus to get those blasted tchamek somewhere safe quickly and join us here or leave them! The dragon is coming around for another pass and no one will be safe unless we kill it."
Tik-Tik |
::Lotus, the dragon is coming around for another go! Thogg says to get the people somewhere safe or leave them and get out here!:: Tik-Tik tells Lotus before he flies out of the range of his telepathy. Following Thogg, he pulls a small vial out and drinks it.
What color is this dragon? I'm drinking a Resist Energy based on the energy type it uses.

For get he summoning thing, looking at what you can ask it to do its of now real use so she would not have even started it. She would have done all the other stuff but spent more time looking at the gear that was left. She looks in all his things
Spell crat 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
Then the call comes about whats going on outside v Tik-Tik
Lotus get up and looks around the sick, She has faced this Dragon before and it ended her, yet her god sent her back, This temple is one more blessed and so safe as any place can be. She has seen many wars and faced her end more than once, she ready's herself.
Then fear and hope spark thoughts in her head,
"The Dragon showed up to fast, The Dragon takes life to from itself, sucking souls to power its needs, Black energy rising, just as with that evil mage"
She runs for the door
"What if that mage was the Dragon in one form, stuck down it would look for more life to power itself again, it would do it as fast as it could. Thats why hits here so fact, that Dragon never left! *&"$^, I have to warn the others"
Running out side she heads to her fellows getting ready to take to the air.
"No place is safe wile that thing is seeking power again, I believe it and that evil Mage are one, that thing needs to be on the ground for you to attack it, I will see what I can do"

That dragon uses fire attacks. It is a magma dragon. I will see if I can find the info I post.

You able to recall that it also had delayed blast fireball as an SLA, and its breath weapon can cling to you similar to napalm in our world.
