There is a door on the north wall, let us open that. Plus there was a hall south of the room we were in when we came down the steps from the second floor. Andrea motions to the door in the north for Gerard and Daniel to open.

Andrea and Gerard check out the north door, they hear nothing, the door is unlocked and there is no magic.

Since Azreal is back on his plane, what are you doing for light sources now that it has gotten dark outside? These interior rooms have no windows, so unless I'm told otherwise I will assume Andrea has cast light on Daniel.

Gerard feels a chill in room as his eyes notice more fluids on the ground, there are bits and pieces of gear scattered around, including a light crossbow, along with chucks of flesh. There are two chains handing from the ceiling and cast upright in one corner.

Everyone has CONTINUAL FLAME cast on their weapons by Azreal. The duration is permanent! I can use the double initiative power 2/day (done- always on Em), and the WEAPON MASTER power for 7 rounds per day, in one round blocks. I have been updating my sheet and I believe I have 2 uses left.

Sorry. If you like we can switch to my needing to type the designated use for tactician rather than the auto run like we have been doing. I honestly forgot about tactician because Grimmer had a much higher Wisdom Modifier for five uses a day and we never hit his limit. Daniel has 2 only cause his wisdom is only 8.

It really hasn't been an issue before, but its has been one long day with many battles and no rest, so I figured you may have maxed out the usage. Somewhere I that had you auto selected Gerard probably to give him a jump on potential sneak attack damage, I missed the switch to Euphemia.

Question, you said the shadow was in the-D,4 wall which I believe is near Orsin and thus 5' away from Andrea so I believe Andrea would be able to cast safely, correct?

[Just an update, Andrea does have her Minor Ring of Inner Fortitude that was gained from an earlier encounter and protects from 1 point ability loss. So 2 Str points loss.

Forgot about that double damage bit on the first attack. So 54 for 1st attack, 29 for second

Daniel hits the creature with his attack doign the following damage:

att 1= 13
smite bonus on first attack for being undead type = 10
att 2 = 14.

The incorporeal subtype: Even when hit by spells or magic weapons, it takes only half damage from a corporeal source (except for channel energy).

Paizo Rule citation:
Paladin: Does smite evil bypass the defenses of the incorporeal special quality?

Smite is not an effect on the weapon, it is an effect on the paladin. The weapon still needs to be magic to harm the incorporeal creature, and even a magic weapon still only deals half damage against it.

It's not double damage for the first attack. It is +2 damage per paladin level which is then reduced by the rule cited above.

The shadow touches Daniel for 5 strength damage.

Euphemia what spell did you use...searing light? I think it should be 10d6, not 10d8. Shadows don't have a bright light vulnerability listed, unlike a vampire with it's vampire weaknesses or a shadowgarm which has light weakness.
