This is an onxy ooze, often found on the plane of shadows, unlike most oozes that are unintelligent this one has a rudimentary mind, so it can be effected by mind-effecting spells. This ooze dissolves metals and organic material, but not stone. Onxy oozes freeze and dissolve its victims to crystallization devouring it as food. It has a special liking to metal and wood which it does extra damage to.
Immune to acid and cold and has ooze traits as defense features.

While resting earlier at the Tilneros estate,(and a bottle of wine or so.) Andrea looks over at Fiosa and thinks a thought, of course such things need to be phrased properly since it is a touchy subject so Andrea rolls the words over in her head before speaking.

I think Orsin has to wait for the Ooze to act and then use liberating command because due to the current Initiative there is a escape-grab loop going on. Daniel just can't beat the massive grab score. If Daniel breaks the grapple and tries to move, that just triggers the free grapple again.
edit:So perhaps the best thing is to just attack it

The paladin is grabbed again by the unrelenting ooze. He would have to fight it to the death! Praise Imoedae! If this was his final battle, so would go with fury and honor!
Gear now has 18 damage. I have 4 LOH left for the day and if I used smite again that will burn 2 more. Remember cures get +2 bonus HP per dice so if you wanna spam healing hex and CLW I can outlast this thing! I don't know if it's evil but I am gonna smite anyway. If there is a chance, gotta take it.
Round 5:
The paladin activates his smite, unsure if it will help but this place permeates evil. Hopefully his god would protect him.
