gerard works on the reinforced door at F, 9 and manages to open it. Pushing the door open reveals a dark room. Daniel steps forward leading the way inside using his keen eyesight. Azreal has his continual light spell shining form the read guard position.

This grandiose chamber is dominated by a massive slate table surrounded by leather-bound chairs. Black curtains cover the walls at intervals, and between them hang works of art in gilded frames. A chandelier of black iron dangles from the center of the ceiling, but its fat, black candles are currently unlit. An elegantly enameled tinder box sits in the center of the table.

Daniel walks beside Gerard, ready to assist but making a point of keeping the rogue inside his Aura of Courage.
Thankfully the majority of opponents have focused on the Paladin, unlike the Wizard who (correctly) realised the rogue and witch were the greatest threats if left unmolested.
Should we get attacked again, protect yourselves and left me be the focus for enemy fire. I am protected by the heaviest armor and my goddesses blessings. I will hold while you destroy.

I can attempt to blind or silence any spellcasters. Perhaps a risky maneuver is to silence Daniel and have him stay close to the spell caster while striking with his polearm.

The curtains hide alcoves, perfect for posting unseen guards. Two of these serve as privies on the east side of the room.You find two secret doors one on the north wall (E6). The other on the west wall that leads back to the hall (far north east alcove) I'll put up a map when I get home.

The tinder box is worth 100 gp and contains a small amount of ash in addition. This ash radiates faint divination.
