I'm going to assume that Daniel did not actually attack the last foe since the other foe exploded first.

As everyone spends time healing themselves, the last foe slips deeper into to unconsciousness until death takes him in a grand explosion.

Oddly enough their gear is remaining post explosions. There are 4 short swords, 3 vials of a black substance, leather armor. There are two small pouches containing coin and gems.

As you look through the opening see a dark room, given you limited ability to see in the dark. It appears to be larger than the one you are in though but disheveled.

Content that Gerard isn't too injured, Euphemia picks up Frank and nurses him back to health with a healing hex.
Min on that is 12, so he's back to full.

Patterns, safeguards... I've seen places like this before. Whatever this place... was, it is now a well disguised and protected thieves den, not some makeshift hideout but one with multiple fortifications and defenses.

I can't see in the dark, but I can make out a dark room. It appears to be larger than this one and disheveled.

Daniel, peeking through the spyhole, you see the outline of a large room that is in a bit of disrepair, there are a couple bedrolls on the floor. Tehre is at least one doorway directly across from the spyhole but it is a closed wooded door.

Nobody identified the foe....Euphemia would have known them as Dark Stalker Guildmen. Basically darkstalkers with rogue levels. That scene was played pretty close to how it was written.

Excellent with the tripping, I tried to follow up on it.

I think it was magic that prevented us from summoning help or teleporting. Thus Azreal can't dimension door.

Euphemia will make the check when she sees one. Line of sight was always blocked.

"Eurgh... I hate this stuff," Euphemia says, looking at the poison. "But perhaps I should put some on my gauntlets... and arrows.."


Frank is still reeling like a drunkard from Gerard's dextrous hands.

You get the impression that she really, really abhors the poison but wants to take every advantage she can right now.

Well. Daniel no doubt doesn't approve using it, but Gerard does have several poisons from the Hagwood fight. Any advantage I guess.

Andrea will let Gerard have the black smear poison if he wants.

He scratches her back between the shoulder blades gently. Keep you conscience clean, brave-heart. The poison is beneath you. My three other magical daggers are poisoned still, I've not used them since the forest.

Back there, I used the dagger I had crafted and a spare dagger. Neither were poisoned.

The paladin shares a look with the hound but they say nothing about the poison.
