Faleyn you see two large steel doors leading into the intricately carved marbled building. The doors are perfectly balance to open with a slight touch revealing a large 30 by 30 finely decorated reception area. Sitting at a redwood table is a middle aged attendant. His eyes are fixated in a tome.

Lucrezia Villanova |

In the time you've worked here you haven't been permitted in the cellar.
Well, past time to look in there then....
"Where' Alphonse at now?"

Duncan Redhammer |

Duncan shifts over to Lucrezia. Ale's leaving a bitter taste in me mouth tonight. How much fer the kids to sleep in me room? They could use a meal an a break. Deserve better than the rough hands o drunks

Orn Broken-Tusk |

Went out mid-day, carriage from a noble house picked him up. Didn't get a good glance a the colors though." His hands raised palms up in an I'm sorry manner. His eyes widen as he sees Duncan and Ermolos enter the building. Instinctively he picks up two mugs and pours the mead for them.

Faelyn Sindrel |

Excuse me sir. I am in search of a couple of items. First, I would like to know if there are any history books on Khazrae Kuhlata. Secondly, do you have access to some divination scrolls?

Lucrezia Villanova |

Lucrezia looks about, making sure no one other than her friends are within earshot. "Orn, do you know if he's charging any special prices for the new ones? Also Duncan, I'm a bit concerned about the one being kept locked up in the cellar. I'm planning a secret visit down there later and check on her. I may need some help if she looks bad. Orn says she's been whipped. Maybe I should take Andrea down with me to look over her wounds? No one's actually allowed down there without Alphonse's permission, but since he's not here, it looks like a good time for a little sneaky trip."

Andrea1 |

Andra looks up from her meal. I can do that...Also, perhaps I can convince Alphonse to take a little walk with me when the lights are dim. Give him a little suggestion and charm that it would be a perfectly grand idea.
Andrea has a flat look on her face and a voice full of something in particular.

baldwin the merciful |

The man's hand is gently running over the line in his book. He completely ignore you for the time being. You see he is nearing the end of the page, then he looks up. "May I help you? Oblivious to your earlier questions.
You can see two sets of redwood double door on the wall behind the desk. On either end of room is a single redwood door.

Faelyn Sindrel |

Pardon the interruption sir. I am in search of a couple of items. First, I would like to know if there are any history books on Khazrae Kuelata. Secondly, do you have access to some divination scrolls?

Lucrezia Villanova |

"Wonderful idea Andrea. In the meantime, Orn, would you please show the new ones up to the room that Duncan will be renting for the night? Just tell them to take a rest on the bed for now. I really do want to check on that new girl's health before he gets back though, best make sure she'd had something to drink as well."
Lucrezia will grab a mug of weak ale and a bowl of stew from the kitchen and then make her way to the cellar door with Andrea if she's willing to go with her.

Duncan Redhammer |

Duncan is disappointed to hear fatso is not in tonight, he lowers his voice and speaks with his mig in front of his lips. [smaller]The less that go the better. I got invisibility spell and can sneak as well as ye by moving as ye move. We can go when ye like. Ermolos, take the girls t'me room and grab food enough fer all a ye. Lay a hand on any of em an ye lose it. Not sayin I dinnae trust ye, but that pretty one looks like she's trying to learn the craft. Give em the night off.

Lucrezia Villanova |

How many potions was that? I need to remember to mark it down.
"I'm sure the door is kept locked, but I should be able to pick it. Alphonse doesn't usually bother with leaving guards about here, just us bouncers. Though it seems lately that he's picked up some bodyguards at least to follow him about. Of course those guards may have just been here for that meeting. I still wonder what that was all about."
disable device for lock 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32

Lucrezia Villanova |

Bah, it's just a cellar, not a real dungeon and I've already made an awesome roll to open the lock on the door, :)
We'll be fine. :)
Though I probably should add a perception roll for any traps just in case on the door. 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25

Lucrezia Villanova |

We will take an invisible Duncan with us. What could possibly go wrong? Are we expecting the other back here later on? We can wait a little bit for them as long as I get to keep my awesome pick lock role. :)

Lucrezia Villanova |

Ok, just us then. The poor thing could be dead by tomorrow for all we know of her condition down there.

Duncan Redhammer |

Duncan casts INVISIBILITY lines up for a charge, 10feet back from the door and draws his bastard sword.
Gimme a clear line girls and stay sneaky.

Orsino 'Orsin' Bessatte |

Alright, all caught up.
Orsin seems to be a bit of a walking shadow as the day's events finally sink in. He watches, motionless and vacant, as the fallen angel's head flings obscenities. He is weighed down by a guilty heart, fixed in place when his brothers-at-arms leave the safehouse. He sits in silence, waiting for something he prays will never come.
After a few hours of silently watching the Children mill about the abandoned temple, he approaches Ailyn. He struggles to muster a bit of charm, but it's clearly forced and artificial. The thrill of this morning has burned off and all that's left is an exhausted man.
"I wanted to talk to you about a few things, if you have a moment. It's about the Pathfinder Society."

"Friendly" Tracy |

I thought you weren't interested in Tracey quite yet.
Tracey is getting dressed when she starts to giggle, That big teddy bear is as loud as an ox" Motioning towards the door, the sound of the floor boards creaking under a set of heavy feet is obvious. She turns and tosses your tunic.

Pardon the interruption sir. I am in search of a couple of items. First, I would like to know if there are any history books on Khazrae Kuelata. Secondly, do you have access to some divination scrolls?
The man blinks twice, "Well this is guild of Knowledge."I actually meant to refer to it as a college, that is what I have in my mind. He ponders your questions for a moment, very similarly to the way Talbard listens.
"I will have someone from the library come out in a moment to assist you. Of course there is the matter of an entrance fee, that will be 25 GP to the first level materials. If you research takes you to other levels your assistant will inform you of the additional cost."

Melissaa Loreman, NPC |

Faelyn roughly 10 minutes later, an attractive young half-elf comes out from one of the double doors behind the gentleman sitting at his desk. She displays more human features than her elf heritage.
"Good evening, sir. My name is Melissaa Loreman how many I help you?
You realize the wizard used a message spell to call for assistance.

"Friendly" Tracy |

Tunic? What 'Tunic'? Fluer is wearing scarves, remember? Some around her top and some around her waist and some arm-bands and sandals.(^_~)
I forgot.
She tosses you a few of your scarves, "Gotta run luv, time's money for the boss man." She opens the door and Orn is there leading a few younger workers towards another room. "Someone's got a big appetite tonight Orn."

Orsino 'Orsin' Bessatte |

"I've come to learn it's best to tread lightly in the affairs of devils," Orsin replies, taking a seat opposite of Ailyn. "And thank you for your concern, but I'm alright, I just haven't slept much in the last few days. What I wanted to talk to you about was the Pathfinders. I've been reading the chronicles ever since I've had the money to purchase them and if death comes for me in Delvehaven or thereafter, I'd like to die a Pathfinder."

Ailyn Ghontasavos |

"I've come to learn it's best to tread lightly in the affairs of devils," Orsin replies, taking a seat opposite of Ailyn. "And thank you for your concern, but I'm alright, I just haven't slept much in the last few days. What I wanted to talk to you about was the Pathfinders. I've been reading the chronicles ever since I've had the money to purchase them and if death comes for me in Delvehaven or thereafter, I'd like to die a Pathfinder."
"To live and die the life of a Pathfinder is to seek adventure, mystery and answers where life may take you. Is this a Path you desire to follow?" She smiles, "The joys of life may be simple but they can be found in most situations."

Orsino 'Orsin' Bessatte |

Orsin thinks on the question for a moment before answering.
"I want a life I can be proud of when all is said and done. I have a lot to offer the Pathfinder Society and I think a life of adventure has a lot to offer me in return."

The Master of Blades then states: "Execution by Flame means No achievement occurs without loss, and only by casting off something does one become greater. As a blade is tempered by fire, so too do Hellknights seek to face hardships, scouring themselves of their innate weaknesses and in so doing steeling themselves for ever-greater trials and triumphs. This dictate holds a dual edge, as it also suggests the flames of Hell, which all knights must face and in so doing loose either their fear or their lives." He pauses then motions to one of the armored Hellknights who motions and speaks a few words of summoning.
"Joe Deos face your trial and dispel any weakness." With that a male devil greater devil, Magaav, host appears. Twin pairs of mangy, disease-riddled vulture wings flap in concert, keeping this lean raptor fiend aloft. Twisted horns rise from a head like a monstrous skull and noxious fumes leak from between its yellowed fangs. Hovering with impossible control, its vicious foottalons clench and unclench, while its clawed hands wield a long, three-pointed ranseur.

baldwin the merciful |

Lucrezia, Duncan and Andrea you see Orn gather up the new entertainers and lead them upstairs. The bar a bit busy right now and with Orn taking care of other duties Lucrezia would not feel right leaving the common room unattended.
I'm trying to slow down the earlier entry into the benign cellar actions to get Fluer to join up with you all.

baldwin the merciful |

John you've never seen this type of devil before but you vaguely recall your mentor mentioning that they are soul searcher, often sent to retrieve those that have evaded capture. You know like most devils the have resistance to acid, cold and its immune to fire and poison. It probably has a damage resistance but you are not sure what from. it obviously flies and it has has a nasty looking Ranseur along with talons.
