The third door is an identical set up and when it is opened it is a slightly larger room that contains liquids, vegetables and other items used in the kitchen, including butter, milk, lard, eggs, cooking oils along with overflow barrels of ale/mead.

"You need to be careful when inquiring about Delvehaven and Mayor Vheed." She has a bit of nervous look in her eyes. "Of course, we have some basic history of out esteemed mayor." She is obviously treading lightly as an assistant walks by the room.

It is trapped with Terinav Root but you've discovered it before touching with your bare hand. This is is spread all over the floor pull ring. It obvious not that you have to use a cloth to protect your hand when pulling up the trap door.

Duncan switches to his cold iron axe and hands his magic (light emitting) Bastard Sword to Lucrezia, if she wishes. If not he'll sheath it. He then stealthily steps into the darkness.

Duncan gets to to bottom of the metal stairs clinging to the wall, he descended a good 20 feet below. The smell in the room is of fecal and urine. His darkvision picks up the source as a human girl scantly clad is hanging from the wall manacles, her bare feet bound by an iron shackle to the floor.

Orsin clears his throat before continuing, digging through his haversack to produce a small Chronicle from his tiny collection.

He had access though to esoteric mysteries and the knowledge of spells uncommon to a man of songs and letters. His knowledge of scrolls and other magic writings is something I wish to possess."

All the details about the volume number and the Pathfinder that Orsin mentioned are totally fabricated, purely there for fluff to facilitate Orsin's path to becoming a Pathfinder Savant.

She worked for an Archdevil over 400 years ago. I think she was an assassin. He cursed her and all that was left was her head. At some point, Mayor Vheed owned her and later she fell out of favor with him.

Duncan is enraged by what he sees. But he has presence of mind to cast Detect Magic and sweep the room before going to the girl.

He casts CMW and touches her shoulder gently, alleviating her wounds a bit. It's alright girl, no one.is gonna hurt ye. We be here t'save ye.

As she recoils under his touch, Lucrezia, git the chain off a her, gentle like.

He looks to the young one as one would see a wounded bird.
One thing was certain, Alphonse would die. Soon.
