Runzyl Steelsong |

Runzyl fires a shot at the far left Seren before dropping his bow and rushing forward, taking Falla Caesenri into his hands as he closes the distance at speed.
Firing a single shot at the M21 Seren. 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17 to hit, dealing 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 damage (miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 84). Dropping the bow as a free action, moving to M19 (my speed is 70' currently) and drawing the blade as part of that movement.

Lightbringer |

Lightbringer releases his bow string (holding the weapon in one hand), and charges out onto the bridge, hastened by Matilda’s magic, holding his free hand out in front of him in a fist, trying to slam into the Seren warrior in front of Rolund.
Charge to K19, attack L20 with slam attack; charge and power attack. 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23 Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 78 Damage: 1d4 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 6 = 12

Rodergo Xativa |

Rod moves to m11.
Channel energy; heal; me and Ez are in the burst; I reckon if the iguana is 5 feet up in n5 he's out of the radius.
Janosz is in the burst too.
heals 4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 4, 3) = 11 in damage to Ez, Rod, and Janosz if he's hurt.
Rolund is out of the area of effect, in respect to his wishes (this time).

Aubrey the Demented/Malformed |

The party forms a cordon across the bridge, halting the tribesmen's advance. The Seren step up, axes swinging.
M19 moves to M20, I22 moves to I21.
L20 and M20 attack Runzyl. 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (6) + 13 = 19, 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17, 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32, 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11. 11 damage to Runzyl
I21 and J21 attack Basher. 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16, 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10, 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27, 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12. 12 damage to Basher.
The more heavily armoured warriors charge at Lightbringer and Basher. As their axes hit him, the acrid green oil smeared on the blades burns the warforged's organic parts and corrodes their metal.
L26 charges to K20, provoking AoO from Basher, and attacks LB. K28 charges to K21, and attackes Basher. 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (15) + 17 = 32, 1d12 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16, 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (4) + 17 = 21, 1d12 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20. That's 16 damage to LB and 20 to Basher. Basher also takes 2d6 ⇒ (2, 1) = 3 acid damage and LB takes 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9. They will continue taking 2d6 acid damage for the subsequent three rounds until the stuff burns out.
More arrows arc across the gorge towards Rodergo.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28, 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4, 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28, 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5, 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29, 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7, 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20, 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5. That's four hits (I'm assuming Rod isn't using his shield as he was using his bow before) for 4, 5, 7 and 5 damage.

Sir Rolund ir'Kraal |

I21 and J21 attack Basher. 1d20 + 11 = (5) + 11 = 16, 1d12 + 6 = (4) + 6 = 10, 1d20 + 11 = (16) + 11 = 27, 1d12 + 6 = (6) + 6 = 12. 12 damage to Basher.
You actually struck Basher twice. Remember, his AC is 14 due to his charge until his next turn. So that makes it 18 damage in total from these attacks if the tribesmen’s axes are not adamantine (10-2/adamantine + 12-2/adamantine=18)
More arrows arc across the gorge towards Rodergo.
1d20 + 9 = (19) + 9 = 28, 1d8 + 2 = (2) + 2 = 4, 1d20 + 9 = (19) + 9 = 28, 1d8 + 2 = (3) + 2 = 5, 1d20 + 9 = (20) + 9 = 29, 1d8 + 2 = (5) + 2 = 7, 1d20 + 9 = (11) + 9 = 20, 1d8 + 2 = (3) + 2 = 5. That's four hits (I'm assuming Rod isn't using his shield as he was using his bow before) for 4, 5, 7 and 5 damage.
Your third shot was actually a crit unless the fourth roll was to confirm the crit.

Sir Rolund ir'Kraal |

Btw, where is Wings-of-Silver’s location? Aubrey placed him in G23. Yet from the description it seems he managed to attack his opponent in I22 which would mean he would need to be in I23 to make the attack.
If so, I’m surprised his opponent in I22 ignored him and moved to I21 to attack Basher, leaving himself open to be flanked.
Finally, there was no Seren in M19 (that’s Runzyl) but there was one in M21 who in all likelihood moved up to M20 to attack Runzyl.

Sorry, that should be H23.
If so, I’m surprised his opponent in I22 ignored him to attack Basher and leave himself open to be flanked.
He has moved 5'. You are not privy to these guy's tactics (such as they are) so I wouldn't worry about who he is attacking too much.
Finally, there was no Seren in M19 (that’s Runzyl) but there was one in M21 who in all likelihood moved up to M20 to attack Runzyl.
Correct: M21 -> M20.

Ezreal Farlowe |

Smoking and charred again Ezreal roars, "Gods Dammit Where are these f!+%ing lizards!?"
Taking advantage of his augmented speed, the mage runs forward casting as he runs, and shouting something in a hissing spitting kind language.
Draconic:
He twists another ball of bat dung rolled in sulfur between his fingers, but this one begins crackling with electricity as it shoots out ahead of him, detonating in a massive electrical burst.
Reflex 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 1 = 13 Full 13 damage.
MA: 55' to J18
Fireball (electric) 9d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 5, 5, 5, 3, 5, 3) = 34, DC 19 for 1/2, Centered on L/M - 23/24
That hits targets at K, L,& M 20 and J & K 21. Does not get the guy at I 21 or any of our guys including Wings of Silver.
Spellcraft to see if there is anything I can do about the Call Lightning. 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18
1) Range is long presumably, so I imagine movement is not a realistic option.
2) How can I avoid being hit? Cover from above? Total Concealment?
3) Mirror Image would help here or not if it targets my whole square?

Janosz Frogshanks |

While waiting for Gil, here's my action.
Janosz keeps firing at the retreating lizard.
No move. If it falls, the remaining attacks go on the guy in D31 (Miss % rolls 98, 38, 46).
Attack 1 (w/Manyshot): 10+15+1(Haste)=AC 26, damage 12+6=18.
Attack 2: 9+15+1=5, damage 5+3=8.
Attack 3:13+10+1=AC 24, damage 6+3=9.
Attack 4 (from Haste): 11+15+1=AC 27, damage 3+3=6.

![]() |

Jalana keeps firing at the Seren bowmen.
5' step to I6 before shooting on the guy in D31.
Attack 1: 11+8+1(Haste)=AC 20, damage 7+1=8, miss % roll 84.
Attack 2 (from Haste): 12+8+1=21, damage 4+1=7, miss % roll 21.
Wings-of-silver adjusts his position slightly before hewing a Seren warrior.
5' step to H22 before attacking the guy in I21. Attack roll 11+10+2(flank w/Basher)=AC 23, damage 7+4=11, miss % roll 87.
Gil and Runzyl are next.

Attack 4 (from Haste): 11+15+1=AC 27, damage 3+3=6.
With his typical unerring accuracy, Janosz shoots the tiny sapphire blue lizard as it flees across the gorge. It falls, transforming into the corpse of a Seren witchdoctor that dashes itself on the rocks in the river below. (F22 down - for the benefit of those that actually saw it.)
Janosz continues firing at the other disguised Seren, though fails to take this second one down.

They have cover, which gives a -2 penalty. She's actually out of range and so takes an additional -2. One shot misses.
Jalana fires again but her first is defeated by the distance and the cover provided by the undergrowth in which the Seren crouches. She adjusts and her second nicks the arm of the distant bowman.
Wings-of-silver adjusts his position slightly before hewing a Seren warrior.
5' step to H22 before attacking the guy in I21. Attack roll 11+10+2(flank w/Basher)=AC 23, damage 7+4=11, miss % roll 87.
Wings-of-Silver's sword drinks blood once more.

The flashing ball of lightning explodes around the Seren. When it dissipates they are somehow still all on their feet, though several look dazed and have hair standing on end and gently smoking.

Gil |

Spellcraft to identify Farlowe's nemesis spell: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34
"Farlowe, I think another cloud like in the gorge earlier would be useful - what do you think?"
My map is woefully out-of-date. Proceed without me and I will jump in when I can.

Gil |

Gil will follow the rest of the party, moving to J9, and try her hand with the scroll once again.
UMD DC 22 to cast Scorching Ray from scroll: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21
If successful:
Attack Roll #1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Damage Roll #1: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6, 3) = 15
Attack Roll #2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Damage Roll #2: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 4, 1) = 11
If the creature falls from the first ray, she will shoot his corpse again. ;-) (No other foes in range.)
EDIT: Oh!! So Close!!

Gil |

You could use an AP for definite activation since you are only one off. Those touch DCs might or might not hit tiny lizards though.
Doh! Thanks for that -- I never remember I have those to use. This is the only game I've played in with AP that lasted more than one session... Yes, I would have spent the AP if I'd thought of it. Thanks, Aubrey.

Runzyl Steelsong |

Seeing the Seren meet his approach, Runzyl immediately responds with a vicious flurry of attacks, the blades of Falla Caesenri whipping blazing trails through the air.
Full attack action with haste vs. M20 (not using Rage).
Main hand #1: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18 to hit AC, dealing 1d6 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 6 + (4) = 15 damage. Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 49

Main hand #3: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23 to hit AC, dealing 1d6 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 6 + (2) = 14 damage. Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 55
Off-hand #1: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29 to hit AC, dealing 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 damage. Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 93

Lightbringer

Lightbringer |

Sorry for lack of posting, busy couple of days at end of last week (which continues today) and no internet access over the weekend.
As the lesser Seren warriors fall around him, Lightbringer concentrates his attacks on the heavily armoured barbarian before him, calling on the power of the Silver Flame to guide his fists.
Full slam attack K20, power attack (-3), Smite evil. Attack #1: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (17) + 14 = 31 Damage: 1d4 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19
Attack #2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 Damage: 1d4 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17
Attack #3 (haste): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 Damage: 1d4 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20
EDIT: Do these guys have a miss chance too? If so: 1d100 ⇒ 83, 1d100 ⇒ 76, 1d100 ⇒ 58.
Also, as he is my smite evil target, my AC against this guy is 26.

Aubrey the Demented/Malformed |

Your first two blows take down the first one - I will assume you step forward and slap the second too. They do have a miss chance, yes.
Lightbringer fells one of the barbarian warlords even as the the acid bile from its axe continiues to burn. He steps forward and delivers another punch to the next one.
LB steps to K20. 2d6 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4 acid damage to LB, 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6 acid damage to Basher.

Gil |

How bad are LB and Basher looking? Is there a check necessary to determine the extent of their injuries in battle? Just wondering if a Repair Damage might be appropriate...
Ah, ninja'd. Good morning, Rod!

Green Giant |

The first blow from the Seren warlord strikes something vital in Basher’s midsection and as he covers his wound with his arms, he leaves his head open for the second blow that almost takes his head.
Edit: Sorry for the confusion but Basher actually had 9 hps left after that last blow from his rage. I was looking at the wrong stats. With Rod’s healing, he should be up at 16 hps while raging. He’s taken 74 damage and had 7 of that healed.

Janosz Frogshanks |

While waiting for Gil, here's my action:
Janosz steps forward while keeping the hail of arrows going.
5' step to J10 before firing at the guy in D31. If he falls, the remaining attacks go on the guy in G31.
Attack 1 (w/Manyshot): 12+15+1(Haste)=AC 28, damage 11+6=17, miss % roll 54.
Attack 2: 10+15+1=AC 26, damage 5+3=8, miss % roll 11, so that's a miss.
Attack 3:11+10+1=AC 22, damage 7+3=10, miss % roll 67.
Attack 4 (from Haste): 12+15+1=AC 28, damage 6+3=9, miss % roll 44.

![]() |

Jalana runs forward before squeezing off a shot.
Move to I12 before firing on the bowman in D31 (or, if he's dead, G31). Attack roll 17+8+1(Haste)=AC 26, damage 1+1=8, miss % roll 12=a miss.
Seeing that the melee on the bridge seems to be resolving itself in favour of the party, Wings-of-silver moves to engage a new enemy.
Move to H30 before attacking the Seren in G31. Attack roll 11+10=AC 21, damage 7+4=11, miss % roll 47.
Gil, then Runzyl.

Aubrey the Demented/Malformed |

Before Ezreal's initiative count...
A rough-hewn humanoid the size of a man seems to emerge from the stones of the bridge behind the last Seren warrior. As it does so, another of the witchdoctors emerges from concealment, his form swelling into sight from where he presumably hid in the form of some small jungle creature. The witchdoctor growls in an odd rumbling language, and the stone figure dives back into the structure of the bridge like a swimmer, with hardly any sign of its passage.
With a horrible grinding roar, a large section suddenly falls from near the top of the bridge's arch. The bridge trembles and suddenly the middle span collapses into the ravine below.
Knowledge (The Planes), DC 13:
If you speak Terran:
The section of the bridge from I-N/16-21 falls away into the river. Those standing on that section are Ez, Rolund, LB, Runzyl, Basher and teh Seren. All those on that section: first try a Reflex save, DC 20. If you fail, you fall into the ravine - see below.
If you succeed, you can try a standing jump (an Acrobatics check) to the nearest part of the bridge to you that hasn't fallen. The DC is equal to 2 x the distance in feet (so if you need to jump to the next square, the DC 5 x 2 = 10). For those of you that are Hasted, you get +12 to this roll. If you succeed, you are prone in that square. If you fail by more than 5, you fall into the ravine (see below). If you fail by 5 or less, you may try another DC 20 Reflex save - if you succeed, you have grabbed on and are hanging off the edge of the square you aimed for. Fail that Reflex roll, and you fall.
If you fall into the ravine, try yet another DC 20 Reflex roll. The bridge is covered in vines (as described earlier) and these can be grabbed on to to break your fall. If you succeed in this check, you have grabbed a vine and are now hanging halfway down the ravine in the square you were occupying. However, you still take 3d6 damage from debris falling around you but at least you can now think about climbing back out. If you fail this Reflex check... Down to the bottom you go. That's 7d6 falling damage and you land in a swift-flowing torrent - lucky you all put those ranks into Swim!
For information - the new witchdoctor is at N27.
Reflex saves for the Seren on the bridge. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4, 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18 - well, bad news for him.
As the bridge collapses under him, the Seren laughs in triumph before he and his enemies are pitched into the river.
All the actions you posted up are moot. We'll wait for Ez's turn and ignore everything that was posted out of order after his initiative turn - that's Janosz, Jalana and WoS.
