Mal will fire an arrow at any Orc still standingnext to the pit, though not the one that Agathon is fighting for fear of striking him,
Ranged Attack - 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Arrow Damage - 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

A map link with the round summary would be nice.
Dammit I knew I forgot something
Mal nearly hits, but as it's in combat the arrow narrowly misses.
Kyrina Sunchild |
Everyone please remember to add the +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects. For the Combat, I cast Bless in hte Suprise round, its a 50Ft. Burst.
Seeing the Foul Orc Slash TzeTing, Kyrina Reaches out and applys some Healing to the Creature...
Droping Shield of Faith for cure light wounds

DM Aron Marczylo |
lol forgot the Orcs Well there aren't many left...
All has seemed to have landed a hit this round. The Orcs are all bleeding out quite horribly except for one of the ones battleing Agathon (D9).
The Orc in the pit attempts to crawl out again.
1d20 ⇒ 2
He once again doesn't appear to get a grip and slips back down into the pit, growling in frustration.
Both Orcs attacking Agathon swing their blades at him, snarling as they do and one of them straining his body as he attacks.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Both orcs swing at Agathon but he dodges too fast for them to touch him.
Seriously, what was with those rolls?
The final Orc decided to continue to attack this creature, screaming something in his tongue.
For Dragar Flesheater! Beastmaster of the realms!"
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
This Orc hits, but it only bounces off the serphantine creature's scales harmlessly.

TzeTing
Orcs
Kyrina Sunchild
I keep getting Mortal Kombat nostalgia whenever I write the round at the top of the post.
Badger Woods |
Badger moves up to the edge of the pit on Victor with Fox and Hunter beside him.
Badger trusts the three dogs to guard the pit's edge and keep the orc in the pit.
Badger focuses his call to the Forest Lord on hoping to distract one of the orcs that is attacking Agathon.
Move on Victor to G9. Hunter to G8 and Fox to G7. Casting Daze on any Orc that is fighting Agathon DC 12 Will save to resist.
Kyrina Sunchild |
Seeing that Agathion is Fighting 2 on 1, Kyrina Rushes over to his Aid..
" Not Fair! 2 smelly Orcs against 1 guy!?
I move over to E10 (35 move total) to provide a Flank Bonus to Agathion. Then Kyrina Trys to club the one over the head with her Staff

DM Aron Marczylo |
Agathon's swing slices the Orc's head form his body neatly letting the body fall to the floor lifeless.
TzeTing misses with his bite, but gores with a horrid horn into the Orc's Chest, nearly dropping him and then using his tail to smash the Orc off him. As this happens the Horn tears more of the body mass out of this Orc, killing him.
I assume Solaria redirects her Acid Splash at the remaining Orc that's fighting Agathon as the one Tzeting was fighting is dead.
The orc fighting Agathon suddenly feels the burning sensation of acid, fired at him by the young female halfling.
You don't think there are anymore coming, however Orcs are not stupid enough for all of them to have come out of the camp though with the numbers you think there are there might be 2 or 3 left at their camp.
You can change your action Kyrina as the Orc Agathon was fighting died before your action.
Orc's Turn
The Orc in the pit once again attempts in vain to get up and climb and once again slips on the mud. If anything this Orc was clearly not trained to climb out of a pit.
climb: 1d20 ⇒ 6
The remaining Orc seeing how bad the situation is makes a withdraw, deciding to run back to camp seeing the losses incurred so far. He's about 60ft away if anyone wants to take potshots at him and remain in round actions.

Round 4

Agathon Myrdalon
Badger Woods
Solaria Jesari
Malstei Alenuath
TzeTing
Orcs
Kyrina Sunchild
Also please state what round each action is being taken in. Makes it a little easier ot track down.
Badger Woods |
Badger seeing the Orc contained in the Pit and the other orc fleeing orders his dogs into motion.
They ride hard and fast to get in front of the Orc where Badger can remind the Orc that he can't flee faster then Badger and the dogs can run.
Round 4. Double move to get in front of the orc without going through any AoO zones (not really required as he is Withdraw action but safety first). Badger on the dogs has 100' of move on a double move and the Orc is 50' away. Moving to squares -D 7, 8, and 9.
Badger having shown superiority in movement and companions having shown superiority in arms attempts to intimidate the man to surrender.
Badger, holding the sword Evilbane barks out the word for surrender in Orcish.

Solaria, points at the orc as it runs away, as a small ball leaves her finger tips.
Acid Splash Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Acid Splash Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3
DM Aron Marczylo |
sorry for not replying sooner. Close to Christmas and everything.
You all manage to take down the fleeing and bleeding Orc, nailing him in the back with the arrow and acid, forcing him to fall down and lay there bleeding. Silence falls apart from the Orc in the pit, bleeding but at the same time cursing up at you all, still attempting to grip to the wall.
The running Orc was not interested in surrendering so he now lies dead, but the Orc in the pit appears to be roaring up at you, threatening and cursing you all.
"Dragar the Flesh-Eater shall tear the meat from your bones, mortals! He works with a Goddess and shall strip the flesh from your bones and feast upon it."
Badger Woods |
'He speaks of some sort of leader called Dragar the Flesh-Eater. It sounds like more the name for a ghoul then for an Orc. Maybe the ghoul that was in the temple that we purified earlier when we freed the children. This Orc might not be up on current events.'
'He's threatening us that Dragar is a priest of the Goddess and will get revenge for his current suffering in a suitable way for one called Flesh-Eater.'
Malstei Alenuath |
Mal turns to Badger turning a bit more pale than he normally is and whispers, "Do you remember those dreams we had. Where the woman had us all trapped. I am pretty sure that was the enemy that she set upon me. Ask him where this Dragar is now".
Badger Woods |
'I hate waiting for villains to show up like bloat flies at a funeral. Tell me where this Dragar is and he can try to feast on my spleen now. If you don't speak quick, my dogs will use your nose for a play toy and your ears for kibble. Then we'll release you for the other orcs to laugh at an humiliate as they point out to their cublings the one that had his tusk stolen by a gnome.'
Intimidate 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Badger gibbers in Orcish
Solaria Jesari |
"Anyone Hurt?"
Solaria runs over to TzeTing, his serpentine body battered and gorged apart but one of the Orcs, despite the magical healing that has already been closing the gash, it still is open and raw. "Well Kyrina, TzeTing does have some small wounds that drains his health." She strokes the beast that has entrails of orc dripping from its mouth and splattered over its tail. The beast seems unconcerned by this, but just responds with a soft sound, to the love shown by Solaria.
Currently on 14 max 17...should be OK for a while...but Solaria will always want to see TzeTing on full health, its just the way she is.

Badger gibbers in Orcish
He looks up, still bleeding and going pale, grinning as he looks up at you.
"Up high in the mountain range, north of camp where giants dwell. He move north to large human city with a winged-beast-orc body guard." being an inquisitor and able ot speak the Orc tongue you relealise he's talking about a half-dragon Orc. "You, little gnome will die. The Beastmaster gains power from the flesh he eats."
"You are all food for the great one. I give myself to the Dark Mistress!" he shouts to you all in common.
As he utters these last words with a dark smirk the minutes ticking away lead to the blood continuing to drip out of his body. Soon enough he rushes to scramble up the put, but not to the top. He instead turns and jumps, leaping purposly onto the spikes in the pit which skewer straight through him and perminantly silenceing him.
Badger Woods |
'Yes, with these five dead, there shouldn't be much left to give us challenge. If we move well then we should rescue the prisoners and still be able to make it back to town before midnight.'
'As for what the fellow said before tossing his bones on the spit, it was to say that Dragar has already gone along with a orc half-dragon. They've headed north into the hills where giants lay on their way to the large human city which I can only guess is Baldur's gate. He also promised that a Beastmaster will chew on my leg.'
'I have to agree with you Mal, if the Dark Goddess keeps employing troops that slit their own throats then we shouldn't have to do much more than walk in the right direction to clear up this mess.'
'Let's toss the other bodies in the pit and toss oil and wood upon the lot to make sure they're truly burnt to a crisp. I'd hate to think that some follower of the Goddess might come by later and raise these bodies up cause further problems in our wake.'
Solaria Jesari |
Solaria gets TzeTing to gather the bodies ad drop them in the pit, whilst she collects some dry wood and other natural combustibles to throw in the pit to burn as a pyre, as directed by Badger. "Let us strike before the smoke attracts more unwelcome attention, when we have more orc bodies, we can burn them here too."
Malstei Alenuath |
Mal nods to his fellow adventurers and finally cracks a smile, even Mal can't help but to feel good after ridding the world of these vile foes.

None of the orcs would be affected anyway. You all know that a Orc only goes down if either purposely knocked out or killed and none of you have done non-leathal damage to them.
As you all get close to the camp you see that three of them are sitting around the fire, One of them poking the meat with a stick, another waiting by the entrance of the camp and stareing right at you all, but he doesn't appear to do anything and a half-orc standing by a large make-shift cage that seems mostly empty, but there were still a few women and men left in there wearing only their undergarments you wear under your armour. There appears to be a pile of armour around a large chest, looking like a bunch of scrap metal. The half-orc appeard to be wearing some of this armour and grinning as he was looking at the women, clearly bothering them and trying to bring them over, yet they weren't interested and he wasn't stupid enough to step in there by himself.
The sword on his waist appeared to have a red flame design upon it and masterworked.
Badger Woods |
'We'll follow your lead and rush the rest. Agathon on lead with me and Solaria following behind with our mounts and companions. Mal will support with his bow and watch our backs. We'll drive an arrow wedge into them with TzeTing or my hounds helping to flank any that form on Agathon.'
Malstei Alenuath |
Mal will look around to make sure there are no sentries hidden anywhere.

Agathon will bang his sword and shield together to draw the orc's attention to himself as he makes his way to them shouting "Alright ya ugly basterds! Who's first for a whipping you sorry excuses for warriors!"
If he gets close enough he'll take a swing at one of them.
Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6, 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 ROFL!

Think it was 200xp from the earlier battle, just doing a bit of catch up.
DM Aron Marczylo |
Mal's arrow flies true, striking into the back of the Half-orc and making him growl as he turned around and leers at the Elf that fired at him. Agathon's attack seems to miss completely and the remaining Orc minding his business around the fire suddenly gets up and reaches for a weapon, however he appears to stop in his tracks, not sure what to do.
1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
If that's everyone's surprise action I'll get to making a map and then posting it up.
