The young man continues to tend to the group, smiling as he serves Whisper and Solaria. You get the sense that he is a nice, though innocent young man who finds both girls attractive, though seeing Solaria flirting with the big man he focuses on Whisper, asking her what drink she wants and serving her as well as trying to get some small talk going on.

Looking around the group at Kyras's statment Agathon stands up and raises his mug, "I'd be honored! I welcome the oportunity to face enemies with you by my side! Your enemies are now mine, as mine will be yours! What say you?"

Whisper pauses, considering. The man was foreign, and she doubted the Xanther or the Zhent's influence traveled to where he was from. She shrugged, which was her way of consenting. Kyras seemed to trust him, he looked strong, and they needed someone who could take a hit.

Whisper ordered her drink and sipped it slowly, but she soon became aware his oversolicitousness came from more than gratitude. She could take advantage of it for service, of him for fun, but she'd had a bad night and largely wanted eventually to be left to her thoughts. A small part of her sort of pitied him, and knew an innocent young lad's acquaintance with someone like her would only eventually get him into trouble, quite a lot of it potentially. And so she said diffidently, "Kid, you're barking up the wrong tiefling." and returned to her drink and the drunken knife tossing in the corner of the room.

He looks downcast and dissappointed, but he accepts it. You are instead served by a young woman who is polite, but doesn't hit on you unlike the other guy who seems to have dissappeared. As the time goes on a few other warriors glance your way with interest.

Agathon also gets many suggestive looks by some women and as does Badger and Mal. Some smiled at Kyras, but as soon as he smiled and showed them his brown teeth they seems to take it back.

After awhile, and pausing a moment to make sure passed out Kyras is still breathing in his pool of vomit (but leaves him there), she retires to her room and begins work on transcription (earlier described in the ooc thread), starting with the more intact books (she will wait till she can sit the wizard's guild to work on the more delicate ones). She falls asleep, sitting up in bed, over her journal.

(If she's sharing a room with Solaria, she is likely to wake to see Whisper still crumpled over the books, ink pen in hand, ink somehow not miraculously spilled all over the place due to some careful balancing act of pillows and the placement of Whisper's knees.)

Staying up late Agathon enjoyes the festivities to the fullest, a young man in good health he is full of hearty laughter and easy smiles if he can be a bit full of himself.

During the evening as the wine gets into Solaria's head, she starts to talk more with Agathon, withot even blushing. Her head tilts to one side and her eyes widen as she looks up at his bronzed face and (to her mind) golden locks. "So Prince, or (hic), can I say Agathon. So what have you been up to, we've not seen you around before, and I'm sure, very sure, I'd (hic) remember you. Definitely I'd remember you, even if I was looking after TzeTing. Do you come here (hic) often then?, go on you can tell us, we're really not like our reputation." She holds her index finger across her lips as she leans to Agaton and says in a secretive voice, "All the people in this village think we're (hic) heroes, but we was (hic) just doin a job, well I wasn't even sure of that? shhhh! don't tell." Her head falls forward with a jolt, as she thinks its best time to be a bit quiet now.

Leaning right back in as Solaria starts chatting Agathon grins as she mentions TzeTing, "Well I'd love to see you thing beutifull, you'll have to show me." he says in a drunken slur.

I assume Whisper eventually gets to sleep? I kinda need everyoe to have a night sleep and even not I can work around it. Plus you would suffer fatigue if you didn't sleep I believe.

Mal is so focused on his competition that he does not acknowledge any looks from human females.

"I would be happy to have someone else take sword blows in my stead Agathon. Well met.".

---Later in the evening---

He watches Kyras' antics somewhat amused but worried about his ability to travel the next day. Once Kyras announces his intentions he sits down with him. "I understand my friend. Be careful if you remain here though for there are enemies who would seek to get to us through you. Sweet water and light laughter until we meet again my friend".

---Later in the evening---

Mal being a ranger does not sleep indoors. On this particular night though he quietly enters the room of Solaria and Whisper. He sits indian style with his sword across his lap and takes the reverie. He has something to discuss with the ladies when they wake.

Ahh I see, sorry about that. I always miss things like this. Okey, let me get to the post then assuming everyone goes to bed. This post was origonally meant to be made after the week of leveling up which we can assume you've done.

During your week in the village your dreams have been uneventful, however one night something strange happens and your average dreams warp and twist until you all find yourselves tied by darkness, holding you all up spread arms and legs, fully dressed as you appear normally during the day. The area lights up and you all find yourselves in a large cobblestoned wall, dark and walls with tapestrys down them that look as if they were fit for royalty. Upon the throne at the far end is a stunningly beautiful drow woman, smirking as she looks at you all and wearing a black silk dress with silver web patterns. The dress clings to her figure in a seductive way and stood at the side of her throne is a young man who appears to be casting the spell that has you all here, smirking as he's doing this. He appears human and only in his mere 20s with a marvelous red robe with goldren rims, looking like loyalty. The drow stands, her long white flowing hair leading down her back untied as she walks across the grand red carpet on her bare feet. Stopping short of the group, confident none of you can touch her she smirks and examins all of you.
"So...you are the ones who destroyed my temple in Beregost. It was a insult to simply walk in there, kill my followers and steal my sacrifices. Not only that but you had the audacity to burn my temple down!" she grits her teeth and as she paces up and down stops, leering at Badger. "It was you, wasn't it you troublesome little Gnome. Well...I always found your race troublesome, mostly your gem-grabbing underground cousins." she smirks and examins everyone, stopping at Mal and running a hand across his cheek.

"Well hello there cousin. I bet you havn't seen a Drow before, especially not as beautiful as me. All you surface Elf-kind are so ugly with that pale skin." she even pinches Mal, which he does feel as if this was real. She continues her walking, stopping at Solaria and looking at her with her cocked head. "Halfling...from what I've put together you're one of those strange people who can summon a creature from a plane which evolves with you. I will have to find a way to destroy you and this creature. It's a pity he couldn't be here, but the spell cannot affect creatures on another plane. Though native outsiders can still be affected, can't they Whisper Blueflame." she smirks as she looks to Whisper. "Oh yes, I know your name very well. In fact, one of my greatest followers knows you very well and has told me about how he seduced your mother all those years ago. I think you know who he is and let me just tell you, he's a devil in the bedroom." after saying this she laughs and for a moment her eyes then focus on Kyras and she moves over to him.

"I might be interested in recruiting you as a lover, but only if you didn't have those filthy brown teeth not to mention that elf blood in your body, however your friend here, Agathon. The prince without a home." she walks over to him and with her nails strokes them over his chest, teasing him as she did this and grinning. "I hear your people are doing much better without you and your family on the throne. I must wonder. Did you flee because of your father, or are you just a coward?" as she steps away she then walks over to her throne, letting her hips sway as she walks and then sits down on her throne.

Grinning over to the wizard and then looking back to everyone.
"Well...I will have to let you all meet the ones that are going to hunt you down and be your death. No one else has the power of these spells apart from my royal scribe and lover over here, Xenthrow. Before you go meet your deaths, is there anything else you wish to ask of the new mistress of murder? Soon ruler of your pitiful world?" as she asks this she crosses her legs, perfectly at ease as she gazes at you all with a clear look of supiriority. Her beautiful is unnatural and despite the tales of Drow being evil and horrible creatures, making you want to hate her you can't deny that she is by far the most attractive woman you have ever seen and the robe she wears suggests that she is the type who has many suiters and might even take this man to bed with her regularly.

Would've posted this up earlier, but the internet was messing up.

Whisper in her sleep cringes at hearing her mother's surname attached to her own preferred epithet (Little does she know it's the Paizo alias system's fault for a "Whisper" already being taken), but obviously her origins are no secret despite her efforts to separate her life from her mother's. Doubtless thanks to her bastard, pun intended, of a father.

She's groggy and half-drunk even in dream, the broken words of prophecy that she'd been reading about drift in and out of her mind. She wishes she could come up with a better retort than this, but it's what springs to her tongue before anything better can replace it.

"Yeah, I got a question. Why not take Sharess's portfolio instead, since you're obviously nothing but a glorified whore?"

link provided for those who don't know who Sharess is (not to be confused with Shar!)

PS: Going away till Sunday so posting will be slow. Bot if need be.

I didn't actually know about this deity, huh interesting. Still doesn't mess with her plans though.

She laughs as you say this and shakes her head.
"None of you have any idea do you? None of you know about your true birth rite. Well, that will make this all the more easier and perhaps I should hunt this weak goddess down first when I ascend. You will all need to die first, however." she has a dark grin as she says this, looking at all of you and completeing the look of royalty as a figure in the shadow hands her a wine glass filled with a dark liquid.

"What? A godess afraid of mortals? Hah!" Agathon scoffs. "Using magic to aproach us? Hide all you want b*@#!, we'll meet face to face soon enough." Agathon glares at her, fuming, meeting her eyes without flinching.

'Was that your temple? I had hoped I was burning down the temple belonging to a real god instead of some weak pretender.'

'By the way, we found an image of you in the temple. I really thought it was quite beautiful. I guess it was from twenty or thirty years ago because you've gotten quite a few wrinkles since then.'

Badger focuses on his newly acquired blade, Evilbane. He hopes that if this is a dream then the magical sword will have carried itself into this realm.

The wizard Xenthrow sees the sword appearing and his eyes grow wide with fear.

"That blade...the blade that peirced my heart and cut off my head!" he appears to grow angry at the sight of the blade, but calms himself, leering at Badger. "I'm glad you are all just manifestations. I will break that blade and make you eat the peices." you seem to have angered him, but as she leers at him he controls his emotions. Smiling again she looks at you all.
"Anything else you wish for me to add to your tombstones?" asking this casually as she remains seated and looking over to her wizard, raising her hand ready for some kind of signal.

Male Gnome Inquisitor 2

Hearing Xenthrows words that this is all a manifestation, Badger smiles.

'So this is all just some sort of illusion. Well, if there is one thing Gnomes are good besides collecting gems, it is breaking illusions.'

Swift action to activate the Judgement: Purity which gives a +1 Sacred Bonus to Saving Throws. Attempting a Will Save to break the illusion enough to draw Evilbane. Save is +5 +2 Gnome vs Illusion +1 Purity = +8.

Rolling Will Save 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

He laughs at your attempt and shakes his head.

"No, no. This is like the spell nightmare only I modified this version myself. Everything around you is real, your bodies however are still back in Beregost left in whatever position they were in." he grins and laughs at the Gnomes poor attempts.

Shall I move on and Assume Mal says nothing, move on and let Mal say what he wants or shall we wait for him? Plus Kyras is here and he hasn't said anything.

Solaria

Solaria dares not speak, but laughs out loud at the insult Badger threw at her. Looking about she tries to memorise this place, but it all seems like some underground dungeon, could be anywhere.

Okey will do, wow Mal is going to be a little pissed at all this happening without him.

Mal shouts something in Elvan. A word that has often been used by his people to insult the Drow whenever they ran into them, which roughly translates to those who understand the language, as spider-whore.

give me a sec, making the Alias now.

Her face seems contorted with rage at Mal's words. Somehow what he said bit down far deeper.
"I do now woreship Lolth, she will grow to woreship me when I ascend. Those others who were smart enough to follow me to the surface have joined me. All apart from the troublesome hero, Drizzt Do'Urdon. You half-elf...you will be the first one to die!" she sneers and then turnes to look at Xenthrow and then smirks. "First I shall show you the one who is going to kill you." moving her arm down for the signal and you all fall into darkness

Whisper:

You feel yourself decend into darkness and then stop suddenly, landing on your feet. It felt more like a 10ft drop though. You look around to see some old area of woreship, built of wood and with different symbols on the walls to those in Beregost. This temple has many bugbears, goblins and hobgoblins sitting around in woreship. On closer examination you see that their eyes appear dead and flesh rotting off their bones. At the top on a pedastool is a Goblin priest of somekind, a exact mirrior of the horrid creature in the temple where Kyras got the spores off of. His right side of the face is covered in living moul and fungi and his eyes shine a blood red. None of these beings sees you apart from one that catches your eye. You hear the the serphentine hiss of a creature as your eyes focus on a man dressed in thick black armour, wearing a dark robe with a hood to hide his face. The amulet and rings he wears appear ancient. You notice this man has scaled skin and as he looks up to you he also has slitted pupils like that of a snake. Everything goes dark around you two and he gets up, walking closer to you.
"Well if it isn't my little girl, Whisper or so I hear you are called. I would've given you a much more fitting name. Taught you in the arcane arts as well as teaching you the pleasures of life." he grins at the suggestive comment. "I am the champion of the Dark Mistress and she has offered me a bounty for your head. She has also told me if I managed to convince you to join us I was allowed to keep you. How about it daughter, want to come home to daddy?" with this he leers into your eyes with his own snake-like eyes, hypnotising you and drawing you in. Soon you don't know why but you are completely under his spell, doing whatever he commands but before he get's the chance to go any further than removing your leather armour you wake up back in Beregost, just as you were sitting on the bed with the ink and everything perfectly balanced.

Solaria:

You decent into a spinning darkness, stopping as walls come up around you. At first you don't know where you are, but then you notice the similar buildings, familiar sand. Yes, you are back home. However you appear to be in a home you've not been in before. Your brother's home as you notice the wife you briefly met. Soon you see your brother who looks direcetly at you and smiles. The world becomes black with only you two and he speaks in the tongue of your people.
"Sister...we've been looking everywhere for you. We decided to bring you back into the family. Apparently there are a few families who would love to have their son marry you for trade, just as long as you give up this silly magic using and you remember your place everything will be fine. Also never summon that disgusting creature from whatever world it comes from." after your answer he scowls you "How dare you defile the name of our family by being a whore and travelling with complete strangers! I am going to bring you back home, one way or another. Your father never knew who my true father was!" and with that he smirks, floating up slowly in the air as symbols appear all over his body, charging up some kind of arcane energy. "You will feel the wrath of the son of a Janni!" as he blasts you with energy you stirr from your sleep, escaping the darkness and pain. You are back in your room in Beregost.

Badger:

You fall and find yourself infront of a bunch of Gnomes who appear pale-skinned and grin as they see you.
"Ah, Badger Woods. It's a pity you had to get involved in this quest and had to march against our lady." you notice that this Gnome is someone from your village. A Gnome who didn't like you and considered you not a Gnome and even supposidly tried to hunt down the other races, however he was never this pale nor did you see any of these other Gnomes as being pale. "Our training in the Arcane arts and following our master, Xenthrow. I will become the most powerful Gnome in the whole of Faerun." with a grin he waves his hands, creating illusions of great and powerful battles. The town of Beregost in flames, cities being leveled to dust and a grand temple lifting out of the ground and ascending into the sky. Just as he shows you this you find yourself waking up as he forces you awake by thrusting his staff into your face. You wake up back in Beregost, perfectly safe and nothing amiss.

Kyras:

As you fall through darkness you feel as if the shadows are watching you. Stopping you find yourself face-to-face with a noble-man of somekind who smiles crookedly at you.
"Hmm...a alchemist? I've been wanting to meet one of you." as he says this he circles around you, examining you with a hungry look in his eyes. "I've only ever tried a wizard and they're intelligent. Yes, very juicy. I wonder what yours will taste like?" he asks and this time his face get's uncomfortably closer to yours, his head streaching beyond normal human lengths revealing a sharp blue tongue and rows of horrible teeth. You wake up just before they close.

Malstei:

You land in what appears to be a simple hut. Here you take a glance around and see a Orc sitting upon a throne. Near him is a creature that sees you. This one looks like a Orc, but your training as a ranger and hunting these things down tells you this one is not a Orc. It has scaled skin and vicious intelligent eyes. Intelligence you have never seen in a Orc and sharp teeth that make you think of whisper's. This beast looks to you and the area turns black as it steps over to you.
"You are to be my prey? Ha! Don't make me laugh." as he walks around you a tail follows his trail leading from his body. "I, Grand Warrior of the great tribe of the Beast Commander have a mere Elf as my opponent? Your people hated Orcs for so long, but my other heritage insults your training as a ranger. Yes...you see it don't you? I am a half-dragon. Full orc, but with some of the abilities of a Dragon. You killed my master's men on the road and now I shall chase you and your pathetic little group down. After I kill you I shall feast on your flesh." the creature grins as it looks at you, licking it's lips in deep throught. It breaths in and then expells a breath of burning green acid and you wake up, finding yourself thankfully unharmed and back in Beregost.

Agathon:

As you descend into darkness you hear a similar sound of a populated town. You recognise the area as Waterdeep, somewhere you stopped your boat and began your jurney to find and raise a army. As you look about there are few people on the street, which is normal however a pale man in the corner sees you and you are suddenly moved to him. Soon the area lights up and you are in some basement, filled with kegs. Different men here with pale skin and yellow eyes, walking about and some even taking a mere notice of you. You are confused until you suddenly hear a voice whisper into your ear.
"Behind you, brother." as you turn you see before you, smirking is Persevus the brother who died in battle and his own flesh is also twisted and pale. "I'm here to bring you and our brother back home. Martain is somewhere in this filthy land and once I have you both, I will take you to our great king, Suviantholus. He is a great man brother, the town is happy with him there. Father is waiting too, waiting in chains. If you come with me, his suffering will be over as will yours." you can't help but notice as he makes this offer his eyes are also yellow like those in the area with him. "Like my new skin? The King's seer brought me back more powerful than before. Blades have difficulty cutting my skin as these poor saps found. as you look back at the men they all appear weaker than your brother, afflicted it seems. "See you soon brother. Find that drunken bafoon too so we can all be one big happy family again."

You all wake up in the morning at the same time, fearful and covered in cold sweat from the fear of the encounter you all had.

I leave it up to you guys if you wish to talk about the dream. Afterall, each of you might think it was merely a nightmare, nothing more. Also, now you see why I was asking for more background info now *Grins* + *Evil DM Laugh*

Badger awakens swearing at the black gods for daring to place filth in his village.

How could all those brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts and cousins that he knew so well come under the sway of such filth.

'Xenthrow, by all that I and the Forest Lord hold holy. I shall see your head removed and roasted in the fires of eternity for what malice you have wrought this night.'

Badger grabs his gear and his hounds.

All worries of being involved in the tales of gods was removed from his soul. Now, it was personal and he was ready to ride the hounds of war to the doorstep of the pretender goddess of murder.

'Mal! Solaria! Whisper! Kyras! Agathon! Rise up! We've got murder to do and I don't feel like wasting this dawn in bed.'

Badger works to gather his companions to ride out to the camp of the orcs and exact some vengeance. He knows he can do little for his village from where he now stands but that won't stop him from shoving his thumb as hard as he can into Xenthrow and his mistress's eyes.

Solaria wakes shivering with the cold, despite the sweat that came from the nightmare. She sits bolt upright, to see Whisper and Mal in the room too. Solaria though is less concerned with them, than with trepidation getting out of bed, her normally dark and sultry eyes, seem to bulge and flick nervously from side to side, showing her reddened blood vessels pulsing through her normally milk white conjunctiva. Could it be true, my brother sired by a devil! Oh the shame, I just don't believe it!

Needing some sanity in her life, she calls to TzeTing, Soon he will be here and all will be well, she tells herself.

I'll be adding more hopefully tonight

Mal's eyes pop open wide. "And so it begins", he whispers.

Hearing Solaria stir Mal stands up but does not turn around. "I am sorry for the intrusion but I wihsed to speak with both of you in private before we make our way out today".

As Mal stands and speaks, Solaria looks frightened, questioning her sanity, Is this still a dream? She moves to the table, and pours some stale water bought up the night before. As the water falls down her throat and hits her stomach, the reaction takes place. Literally a gut wrenching ache and the pain in her head starts throbbing. The afternight reaction, A bit too much last night, I'm not having wine again.

She turns to see Mal, staring at her, "Sorry Mal, I'll be all right in a tick. I think something disagreed with me last night, it made my sleep disturbed. Horrifying visions, seemed so real, I musn't drink wine again, I'm sure it was off yesterday. You carry on, what is it you want to say?"

Badger follows Mal but Badger makes it clear that he wants to use his sword on something before much light is wasted.

Hearing Badgers shouting on the upper floors Agathon jumps up from his breakfast and rushes upstairs to don his armor and gather his gear.

When he is armed and armored he comes to the gnome, determined. "I am ready. Let us spill the blood of our enemies."

Kyras stirrs grogily as Badger starts shouting. 'Whaa..?' he manages as he swings his legs to the floor.
Not bothering with any hygeinick activities he stumbles to the door and goes into the hall. "What's with the shouting?"

Just a reminder, the Orcs were camped somewhere east, where you first entered the town. That direction is also where the farm is where the wife is missing her husband.

My dreams have left me in a foul mood this morning and I wish to excise them with some Orcan or Goblin blood. Anything that will bring me closer to removing Xanthrow's head from his neck. I have heard good things that I will be able to do this many times since in my dream he doesn't stay dead like he should.

'But, first, Mal has words of his own to share with us.'

"I am troubled by the attention the barkeep has been paying to Whisper and Solaria. Perhaps I am just being paranoid but I wonder if the boy is a spy or assassin for our enemies. More troubling though is the fact that Badger and Solaria had disturbing dreams. I too had dark dreams, a female drow came to me. Perhaps you were all there as well it is somewhat hazy now that I am awake. One thing I remember for sure is an Orc who was half dragon. We must proceed with caution against these Orcs as this creature may be with them".

Agathon stiffen at the mention of dreams. "I too, had a dream of drow. I stood in a camber with you all, she was threatening us and we were hurling insults back. Then suddenly I was back in Waterdeep with my brother. He was changed, and not in a good way, and he was looking for me and my other brother, looking to enslave us to the king who overthrew my father. He said my father was alive!" he says as realization hits him. Suddenly quite agitated he looks eagerly to Mal, Badger and Solaria. "Do you think it can be true? Do you think my father might still live?"

Pinching his brow Kyras lets out a deep, long sigh. 'God-wanabees, devils, fiends, undead, orcs and assassins and now spies too? You have got to be kidding me.'

"Yes Agathon, it might very-well be real." Kyras says slowlie, as if talking to a child, "This is our second group dream, it would seem. And our first turned out to have more than a few facts based in reality."

'Yes, there were many items in the last dream that were very true; so, I am very ready to strike back against those that would dare to enter my dreams.'

'If even half of what I have seen is true then there is much blood my sword needs to spill.'

'I don't think we'll need to worry on the Orc of your dream Mal. The last report we had was that her lover had headed north with some of the people the orcs had captured. I think we had been told that he had left for Baldur's Gate.'

'Though, I'm sure that if such a foul beast appeared in your dreams, you would be against putting a few arrows in the creature's eyes.'

So my brother as an evil Janni devil sent to end my breath, could be a truth, for that was my dream, I just can't believe it. I was sure it was the wine, or maybe the cheese.

Solaria a little worried, continues, "Perhaps we all need to get out and do something that might be favourable to us. We should go find that farmer, and not hang around here longer than we need. It would take our minds off these nightmares."

With your knowledge of the other planes, Solaria should know that Janni are outsiders that are tied to her land's tales. Janni are a form of Genie. They spend most of their time in the Material plane, though you wouldn't know if you've met one before. They certainly aren't demons or devils by any streach of the imagination.

Solaria was referring to the Janni's characteristic rather than type....so bad or evil janni, rather than good. Partly because I remembered it wrong in a previous post when I mentioned devil, so this was a more correct post, trying to rectify that little error.

Ahh I thought so. Had that idea after the post.

"If we leave then the trouble with this boy at the inn will not matter any longer. I agree let us move. On the road we should probably discuss all we have learned with Agathon so he will know what he has agreed to do and why".

Agathon nods at Mal's words. "ALright. I'm ready."

Kyras sighs, all air seems to have left him as he looks up. Catching the eye of everyone, one by one, he shrugs with and embarased smile. 'Yeah, about that..' he begins slowly.

"I don't know if you guys remember what I said last night, we were hammered after all, but I meant every word. I'm staying behind guys. I'm sorry but I'm just not cut out for adventuring. All those monsters and bad guys make my stomach hurt and my shoulders stiffen. I set out to explore the world so I could deepen my understanding of alchemy, not get killed. So I've decided. I'm opening up shop here in town. Sorry guys, but I'm not going." he says appologeticly, apearing as if he's realy sorry.

Solaria, seeing the hurt in Kyras, stands on her toes and kisses him on the cheek. "You did well when you were with us, there's no shame pursuing your ambitions for knowledge, if our paths take a different route then that's the way it is. But we know you will be here and know where to find an old friend and friendly face. This isn't goodbye, but adieu until we meet again. Take care of yourself."

TzeTing too nuzzles up to Kyras, asking for one last stroke from a friend. Solaria smiles and waves as she and TzeTing move away slowly.

After last night, Solaria and TzeTing hang behind Agathon, Solaria head bowed slightly from a little shame, a little embarrassment as she watcjhes the floor, rather than look up at handsome Agathon.

Mal chuckles, "I am not sure we were all hammered Kyras. My only concern would be that remaining here could be dangerous certainly the road is not much safer but at least our foes will not know where we are".

'If I felt that I could escape the destiny that seems lie upon me, I'd leave town myself and head straight for my village to never leave in search of adventures again. The Evilbanes have given me there family sword in trust that I might do some good with it. Fate has tossed me here and given me the weapons to fight with.'

'There is no crime in taking a day off from trouble and building a life, Kyras. Maybe, someday we will be fortunate enough to be purchase some potions from you in the future that will aid us in out hour of need.'
