Agathon was born the third son to a minor king on the Isles of Kothos. As the third son his role was either the life of an artist or the road of the warrior. The eldest, Persevus, was his fathers champion and general while the second, Martain, turned out a drunken fop.
Agathon was raised without want, he had friends and women abound, money to spend and time to vaste. Athletic competition and fighting bouts were what found most of his time. Enjoying pitting himself against another he loved the exhaltation of victory.
War, beeing common in small scale on the Isles, found his home. Another king, intent of expanding his influence, attacked and burned down the walled city that was Agathons home. As the gates were breached his father ordered Agathon to the ships with his mother, sisters and other minor nobles, convincing him that they needed his protection if they were to escape slavery. Vowing vengence and his return in force Agathon conceded to his fathers wishes.
Delivering his family to a safe harbor with an allied king he left them in relative comfort. He knew he would have to gain glory and gold before he could build his own army and he knew he would not be able to do so on the Isles of Korthos, so he set out for the mainland.
Landng on a foreign dock Agathon turned his back to the familiar sea, hefting his gear he set of inland looking to make his name.
Standing tall and straight backed this black armored figure looks ready to pounce at any challange as his penetrating gaze stares you down. His features are chisled, a prominent brow, straight nosed and high cheekbones. He wears his hair long and braided with gold, pearls and valuable stones. A necklace of gold, a large gold ring and gold clasps around his biceps are other noticable jewelry. His armor is his only clothing exept for a loincloth. His armor and shield are exotic in making, interlocking plates over soft leather cover his chest and back, his bracers and shin guards are hard leather with strips of metal over them. His helmet is black iron with a black plume running down it, it covers his nose, cheeks and the back of his neck. Leaving his eyes and ears uncovered.
His round metal shield has a sunburst emblem and sharp edges. This warrior carries two swords, a large spear and tree javelins in a harness on his back.
