Rocosmia Semvelo |

Probably going to be gone for a day or two and have little time, but I anticipate Rocosmia will Rapid Shot the master for round 1. The other likely action is to cast Grease on the master if I can target a guard as well and not get a non-flying ally.
Rapid Shot: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 _/ 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Rapid Shot: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 _/ 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

GM Ascension |

Top of round 1, Master Torenest goes first.
As Vower glides to the ground an eerie silence settles over the combatants, Hazan charging from the shadows without the sound of pounding feet. Master Torenest dodges the charging half-orc, but is caught from behind by Vower snapping at his legs.
Fort save d20 + mods = 27.
The guards recoil in horror from the monstrosity that is Vower, and they are slow to react.
Despite his size and heavy armor the magus is quick to react though, he rolls backwards, attempting to evade his attackers. Acrobatics to avoid AoO d20 + mods = 17. Both Vower and Hazan may take an AoO.
Escaping the circle of silence surrounding Hazan, warhammer now in hand, Master Torenest yells out, "Guards, guards, to me." His hands weave as he utters a spell and three duplicates of the man appear shifting and shimmering around him.
Drewan, Dev, Vower, then Digger are up, followed by the two body guards.

Vower |

In the silence, Vower's movements are made even more unnatural. The eidolon's head follows his prey, rushing forward in a burst of movement.
Bite (AoO): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Damage: 1d6 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (3) = 10
Trip (with Bite): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Eidolon Poison DC 15 (Fort Negates)

Dev |

Dev moves a step back, out of range of the silence spell, and takes out a miniature shovel from his component pouch. He holds it at eye level, lining it up with Toranest's form. Dark chanting emerges from his throat as he moves the hand not holding the shovel in a jagged digging motion.
A dark shadow creeps along the surface where Toranest stands, forming a large square before it fades like it was never there, like an apparition you thought you saw from the corner of your eye, and it reveals a dark pit of coarse black stone with stains of brown-red.
Create Pit 20 ft. deep for 6 rounds (1 + 5CL) - DC 16 (Reflex Negates) - fail, take Falling Damage and prone
Hope this doesn't ruin anyone else's plans, but look! A handy space where we can gang up on him and do ranged attacks all you like. Just don't stand next to the pit or you risk falling in. Drewan, if you want to jump down, Dev can cast Feather Fall on you.

Vower |

Vower chases after Toranest, moving away from the guards and rushing after Toranest to attack him/
Not sure if I or the GM should roll for Mirror Image chance.
Acrobatics (full-speed) to avoid AoO: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 Well, was worth a try.
Bite: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (2) = 9
Trip (with Bite): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Eidolon Poison DC 15 (Fort Negates)
Move to H-23, probably provoke an AoO from the first guard and then taking the long path to avoid any AoOs from the second guard if he manages to not fall into the pit. If Toranest falls down the pit, Vower follows, flying down after him.

GM Ascension |

Guards haven't acted yet, so they can't take AoO's.
At the completion of Dev's spell the ground gapes wide beneath the feet of the Master magus. Reflex save d20 + mods = 21 He dances to the west a step as it opens.
That puts him at -I24, with the pit covering the four squares represented by J22/I23. All squares adjacent to those are sloped.
[ooc]1 is the correct target for mirror images. 1d4 ⇒ 1
Despite the magical protections Vower scores true against the magus, tearing away part of the clothing in his jaws. Fort save d20 + mods = 17
Drewan and Digger are up. Will get the map updated tonight.
The guard will only need to make a reflex save if he doesn't move on his action, since the actual opening could only hit the magus or the guard and leave the other standing on a sloped surface.

Digger Chandler |

Digger charges to flank the magus with Vower and takes a swipe with his shortsword. attack plus charge plus flank: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 2 + 2 = 26damage plus sneak: 1d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (6) + (2, 6, 4) = 18crit confirm: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 2 + 2 = 19hopeful crit damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4"The merchants will not be subject to your every will, mages!"

GM Ascension |

Drewan Shadowson |

Sorry for the delay - computer issues.
Drewan leaps off the roof, landing awkwardly, then moves and draws his greatsword, swinging at the nearest guard.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
Nonlethal damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Attack (Greatsword +1, Favored Enemy: Human, Flanking): 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 2 + 2 = 17
Damage (Greatsword +1, Favored Enemy: Human, Sneak Attack): 2d6 + 4 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 + 2 + (6) = 20

GM Ascension |

@Drewan, are you dropping your bow on the roof next to Dev then? If not you'll need a move action to put it away and won't be able to charge/attack. Will assume for now that is the case.
Dim lighting miss chance 1d100 ⇒ 87
Drewan drops to the ground, charging the closest guard as he pulls out his greatsword. With a single swing he decapitates the man before he can react to the combat.
The remaining guard, with a silent shout, charges Hazan. Attack d20 + mods = 10. He is now standing at K19.
Rocosmia fires several arrows from the darkness of the side street, one of the images disappears as an arrow flies through it.
Hazan and Jake are up.

Hazan Razzka |

can't let the wizard hang out away from the silence.
I'll take a withdraw to get to the Magus. I'll move from where I am to K 24 then down to J 24 making an acrobatics check to move at full speed across a (I assume) severely sloped surface.
full speed across sloped surface +5, severely sloped surface +5
DC 10 Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
i'll eat the aoo from the guard as i run past him but now i'm next to the magus again
edited to take drewan's advice. thanks.

Jake the Rat |

Jake uses his summoning ablity (8/9 uses remaining) to summon a leopard into M28 that proceeds to charge to J25. and pounce the master, flanking with Vower. Jake then moves out of the alley a south along the wall to F28.
I'm not sure how many images there are and what the touch ac is to dismiss them so we leave that to you. He has darkvision so no roll needed there. The leopard will smite evil on his first attack I haven't included this dince he probably isn't evil. I am still working from my phone so it is really hard to put the stats of a summoned leopard with augmented summon up, if someone else could do this for me I would really appreciate that.
Bite attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 27
Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Grapple if hit: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12
Claw attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 27
Damage: 1d3 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Claw attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 31
Damage: 1d3 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Claw attack (rake on pounce): 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 18
Damage: 1d3 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Claw attack (rake on pounce): 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 24
Damage: 1d3 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Critical confirmation for second claw attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 29
Bonus damage: 1d3 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

GM Ascension |

Withdraw only prevents AoO's from the first square you move from. Because Hazan's movement speed is 20, he cannot move away, then around, and still reach the magus, so going with moving past the guard and taking the AoO.
As Hazan pushes past the remaining guard the man strikes out at Hazan's falchion with his blade. Disarm attempt with improved disarm: d20 + mods = 20 The blow catches the half-orc by surprise and his weapon clatters to the ground.
Hazan, you can either continue to move, leaving your blade behind, or stay at L20, and pick up your blade this turn, provoking another AoO, though the guard won't be able to take the AoO unless he has combat reflexes.
A leopard, outlined in a silver glow appears near Rocosmia and charges towards the magus, a fury of teeth and claws. The man staggers under the onslaught, but remains standing.
I've got the stats with augmented summoning.
Mirror image on bite: 1d3 ⇒ 1
Mirror image on first claw: 1d3 ⇒ 1
Mirror image on second claw: 1d3 ⇒ 1
Mirror image on first rake: 1d3 ⇒ 2
Mirror image on second rake: 1d2 ⇒ 2
All mirror images are now gone
Awaiting Hazan's decision to grab his blade or leave it behind before Master Torenest takes his actions. Also, the leopard took the spot you planned to move to (it is before you in the init order), so you will need to pick a different location if you are moving. You've got 30' more of movement you could do if you leave the weapon behind.

GM Ascension |

Badly wounded and his defensive magics down magus flees southward to try and get free of the silence again. Vower and the leopard may take AoO's
Conditional on his not being dead, tripped, or grappled.
Master Torenest moves to -F24.
Free of the globe of silence again he weaves another spell and vanishes from sight.
He has cast Vanish.
Drewan, Dev, Vower, and Jake are up.

Vower |

Vower snaps his jaws at Toranest when he moves to flee.
Bite AoO: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 4 + (3) = 12
Trip (with Bite): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Eidolon Poison DC 15 (Fort Negates)

Dev |

Dev watches the battle from the rooftops, keeping his attention focused on Toranest. Watching the master cast the spell and vanish from sight, he whispers to the others.
"He's still there, he went invisible."

Jake the Rat |

GM are you sure I'm up. I thought I was after the guard and Digger. I'll wait for clarification before I act.
He whispers to the rest "If you give me a moment I can make him visible again"

Drewan Shadowson |

Drewan sees the magus vanish, then rushes to where he was last seen and swings wildly.
Charge to -F23, attack -F24
Attack (Greatsword +1, Favored Enemy: Human, Charge): 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 2 + 2 = 31
Damage (Greatsword +1, Favored Enemy: Human): 2d6 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (6, 6) + 4 + 2 = 18
Critical Confirm (Greatsword +1, Favored Enemy: Human, Charge): 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 2 + 2 = 19
Critical Damage (Greatsword +1, Favored Enemy: Human): 2d6 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 + 2 = 14
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 66

Dev |

"Understood," Dev says, keeping focused even when a pang of hunger from his link with Vower strikes him. "We'll wait."
Delaying actions of Dev and Vower after Jake.

GM Ascension |

Despite the invisibility Drewan's blade connects with a grunt of pain. The sound of metal ringing on the cobblestones follows.
The remaining guardsman gives a cry, "Nooo.". Then charges in after Drewan. Attack d20 + mods = 19. Dim light miss chance d100 = 32. Damage 1d8 + mods = 11. The guard is now at -G22.
From the north four softly glowing orbs of light come hurtling towards the group, lighting up the area. In the dimness of night half a dozen figures can be seen running your direction.
Everyone but Drewan may act

Rocosmia Semvelo |

Rocosmia looms at the edge of the alley, looking to the spot where the sound of the falling master came from. Whispering, "Dev's thing can handle the body now. Don't leave Hazan behind." She concentrates, focusing on the apparent rush of action from those from the north. Let's not get too excited now.
Calm Emotions (range 150', 20' radius on the center of the approaching group) DC 16 Will: She then starts withdrawing into the alley.

GM Ascension |

Will saves d20 + mods 19, 8, 17, 6, 20, 9
With Rocosmia's spell half of the figures to the north slow a little, seeming to forget why they were in such a hurry to get there.
Digger makes a parting shot, but is more concerned with clearing out of the area before more people arrive.
There is still one of the tower guards standing. Dev, Vower, and Jake have actions to take.

GM Ascension |

Some new rumors you will overhear in a tavern later tonight.
Three men sitting around a table, with a bit to much to drink in them.
”They doubled the guard at the western gate I heard, they's keepin' an important prisoner inside, one o' them blasted drow I 'ear.”
”You've been listening to to many rumors while drunk Jeb. They doubled the guard cause Radgar has returned, and they don't wanna take any chances he makes it into the city.”
”Bah, you've no sense Belg, why would they double the guard at the western gate but not the southern one. They most assuredly have an important prisoner their.” Spoken in a hushed whisper, ”I heard they are going to move him in a few days time, the guards are going to take him to the old watchtower south of the city. An' if he refuses to tell them what they want while alive they're going to kill him then use sorcery to extract the information from his corpse.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------
”Two guardsman were killed this afternoon by an elven woman, and one of the catfolk."
"I heard said they belonged to an organization of thieves.”

Dev |

Approximately how long would say it would take for Vower to eat a whole corpse? He's not large enough to swallow it in one go yet. Though Vower can try to fly off with the body depending on how much Toranest weighs and your ruling for flying while encumbered.
Dev bristles at the use of the word 'thing' but doesn't respond, choosing to move away from the streets. Double Move, J-6
Vower moves to where Toranest's body is, leaning down to try to grab the body, a small growl of hunger escaping from him. 5-foot-step to G-23, not sure what action to take to manipulate an invisible body.

Jake the Rat |

Jake whispers "D get your friend to fly to the alleyway behind the inn with the body so we can strip it and dispose of it."
Jake then casts invisiblity on Vower and calls out in celestal to the leopard.
Lastly will start moving moving quietly away.
Tge leopard moves around the pit to threaten the remaining guard.

Drewan Shadowson |

Still reeling from the pain of the guard's attack, Drewan retaliates in kind.
Standard Action: Attack
Attack (Greatsword +1, Favored Enemy: Human, Power Attack): 1d20 + 8 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 8 + 2 - 2 = 19
Damage (Greatsword +1, Favored Enemy: Human, Power Attack): 2d6 + 4 + 2 + 6 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 + 2 + 6 = 18
Move Action: Head west (5' move if the guard is still up, 30' if he's down)
Also, might just have Vower eat the head, if he can find it...

GM Ascension |

Vower disappears from sight as Jake touches the horrific creature. It can still be heard moving about where Master Torenest fell to the ground.
Going to make it a full round action to pick up the magus. After that Vower can fly under a heavy encumbrance load, putting it at spd 20 with a -6 on physical skill checks. The only rules I could find on this was that a flying mount could not fly with medium or heavy armor. I take this to mean in addition to having a rider as well as such armor.
At the command from Jake the leopard charges the remaining guardsman, attempting to grab him with its teeth and hold onto him.
Rolling grapple roll for the leopard: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
The leopard gets its teeth in the mans pant leg, pulling at him.
Reflex save for the leopard that is now at the edge of the pit. Reflex save DC14. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7.
Giving the guardsman a circumstance bonus to avoid being pulled into the put as though being moved by grapple to break free. d20 + mods = 23.
The beast promptly slides into the pit, losing its hold on the guardsman. Falling damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9
So... that was an entirely unexpected series of events.
Drewan hammers away at the guard with his blade, giving him a wound in the ribs.
Fury and recklessness define the mans actions as he counter attacks. d20 + mods = 19. Miss chance d100 = 68. Damage: d8 + mods = 10
Sprinting from the north comes the city watch. One of them holds a holy symbol tightly in one hand as the dancing lights hover around Hazan. "Throw down your weapons and surrender." he calls. Two of the watch move to flaking positions on either side of Hazan. Five more guards follow close behind, two with short bows drawn, the other three hold short swords, but they look about as if unsure what to do.
These look to be standard city guard, not part of the better trained tower guard.

Hazan Razzka |

If any of the guards aren't human let me know
As a swift action I activate bane vs humans then I attack one of the guards flanking me with power attack
attack: 1d20 + 7 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 7 - 1 + 2 = 25
dmg: 2d4 + 2d6 + 7 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (2, 1) + (6, 5) + 7 + 2 + 3 = 26

Jake the Rat |

Jake looks back to see Hazan in trouble and his leopard fall down the pit. Cursing under his breath he uses his summoning ablity (7/9 uses remaining) to summon a replacement leopard.
Jake then moves around corner and out of site of the action.
I am not sure which guard Hazan attacked, the leopard is summoned to be able to pounce on the other one.
Bite attack: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 7 + 2 = 27
