well Goes for everyone. If you can make it yourself, you can take the crafting it yourself discount, as if it takes a month or three months your character would have made themselves.

as I said in that last one.. Apparently some things are beyond my control. IF anyone has an issue with me following the canon of this insane campaign that Klokk is in let me know.

Im justifying it because 100% of the items all my npcs have atm were given by him to me. including the list of buildings the warforged created in the time BH (Before Haven).

After so many years apparently there are things I do not know about some of the assorted items i've picked up over the years adventuring. One of them is causing the transmission that is NOT intentional on Klokk or Samanitha or Wolvyns part. My character sheets are 24 pages long in 6 font of stuff and notes and where what is. One of the items listed somewhere there. Apparently your DM's task is to figure out what that is. So this is now a new complication Klokk is unaware of when he returns to Haven this evening. Klokk has no knowledge of the visions and none of the NPC's I control have any knowledge that any of you even received them.

I'm confused. Sounds interesting though.

It is just that I wanted to be upfront, since you are playing in my game, That there ARE a couple of things that are not in my control. Because I choose to allow the DM from Klokk's campaign to have some say way way behind the Dm Screen.

Such as the weird effect of that scrying pool where my 3 NPCs were looking at Haven. I am going to keep my speculations in character as Klokk about them. Including this "event" if Klokk is told about it or future events.

If you choose not to tell him then he wont know;[b]all[b] of my NPCs will be unaware of them.

The only reason I make you guys aware of this event. is because it is the first event that has happened, I had not decided until between those two posts if I was going to allow john(my DM) some say in this my Campaign, or not. And as these "Events" will be a theme, and add some major randomness to my planning, I wanted to be up front about it.

It went like this.
Klokk: "but DM_John I wanted to keep what the Stonescales saw in the doorway secret and play up the none of the WF knowing bout the full dragon side of things."
DM John:"I rrealllly don't care bryan, if you want to use Klokk and he has the items on his character sheet with him. I am going exercising my right as your DM to interfere while Klokk is at Haven. There are a few of your items that even you don't fully understand all their functions."
Klokk: "grumble, grumble, grumble"
Klokk: "Ok i can see how that could be the case."
DM John: "Tell your players what happens next, don't leave it to their imagination."

So I sent him a copy after I posted it (as he dun come here) and he said edit it add that those are able to send a telepathically message are given a vision of what happens on the island and at the scrying pool. And that no NPC I control receives the vision, regardless of if they are psychic or not.

ah ok. Fabricator cannot project telepathy, only receive it (and answer as any spells from others allow). so no vision for him.

will see, in my 20 years of dming.. ive never had an overdm before like ya all doing in the Loom stuff. I have been enjoying following that for a while. kinda gave me the final nudging to start this tale so I did and picked the faction whos recruitment page had the lowest posts to try and balance things out with another strand upon the loom.

its crazy enough just being a recruit there and reading everything and keeping player knowledge away from marf :D if he don't end up being eaten by a large dog.. I will have to ban myself from reading anything to do with the other faction threads.. and would suggest that you guys do the same.

So yeah... Interesting...vary interesting. But Stupid... :D

i am in 20+ games so i would probably slip with some minor detail that i read in the thread i shouldnt have been reading and then i'd be busted.

There is a method to my madness Klokk, but I would prefer to spring it in-character, at the meeting. :D

My character knows exactly what she is going for though, so she's choosing books that suit that purpose.

@Fabricator at lvl 3 you should get additional traits instead of skill focus umd. If you get pragmatic activator

While some figure out how to use magical devices with stubborn resolve, your approach is more pragmatic.

Benefit: You may use your Intelligence modifier when making Use Magic Device checks instead of your Charisma modifier.

that is a plus 3 right there and you would only need to boost your headband of int to gain points in umd, craft and spellcraft. Then chose another trait on top of that.

@ Klokk do the guard towers have ammo such as arrows and gunpowder and such. I am thinking of having Ssisal check and replenish one of them by hand.

The meeting is four hours after the gathering, so that's why I made a post saying what I did in the time between.

I messed up the map when scanned it other day, scanned my map, not the explored/known map. Good thing I checked before linking it :) that woulda been a tiny spoiler.

So am doin that, at brothers so can scan it here. email it back and then post the meeting when I get home in a few hours. but ill have the site open while am here at his place.

Towers have ammo, a large stone crate of crossbow bolts - takes six warforged to move. and a couple barrels of war arrows up in each of them.

500 bolts
200 arrows (each barrel holds 100)
200 musket balls (1 small barrel holds 300)

blackpowder and flint are stored separately.

If someone using a gun goes to the tower, they grab one of the kegs and bring it with them.. is only a score of kegs. plenty of saltpeter, just need three other things and can make the gunpowder.

Klokk mentioned it to you before he went away to get the others, but he never gave it to you.. it must have slipped his mind, perhaps you could remind him. he did say you could ask him anything.

Beyond that I don't remember if I put in my typical 20 max before racial or not.

IIRC it was 18 max before racial, since you mentioned that you could get 18s in two skills, but that would waste all your points.

That's right! I did indeed.

Im still working on finding the sweet-spot for the point buy, not being to weak/op with the 1-1 cost.

My Wrath game runs with 30 buy.
A homebrew game used a 15 buy.
Another three homebrew, 2 of which were Empire games was 25 buy
My last three things were 20.

It may end up being a 23 for the sweet-spot eventually IDK.

But for right now, this game it is 20

as we discuss available materials, could they be added in a spoiler on the campaign tab? it would be easier to keep track of things that way than on my character sheet, for instance.

I thought the rule of no editing past 1 hour was in effect for that as well?

as far as i know that can always be edited. a dark sun game i am in, the GM uses it to track our equipment (particularly food and water)

For stone/metal/wood/food i was just going to call it K (short for crowns) for now, unless you want to know how many pounds of iron or copper or grapes you have. stuff like that is all vary generic raw for kingdom building, i can split it up if you all would prefer to know that you have

my minecraft username is also tenro, i believe (which will matter if you are doing a whitelist).

as for the display of goods, i would say that the detail of what materials are displayed should be set at what you will look for.

for instance, if it matters to you how many K we have in grapes and how many K in potatoes, then it should show that. if it only matters to you that we have X K in food, then that is all that needs to be displayed.

same would go for mithril/iron/etc

Until your population actually consumes 4 BP a year of food it will just remain a part of the generic K listing.
Likewise until you can make magic items metal/stone will also remain in the generic K listing.
Ill pull things from the K's as they are able to be used and not just classified as "stuff we have"

the Librarium contains information on Knowledge - planes/arcana/engineering. with one build blank section

nothing on nature, which I both I think would be under.

There may be a book or two tucked in with those three subjects but rare and few between.

Klokk didn't bring any as each world has a different geology that makes it up. so books from Mikdemena or Eberron or Golorian would serve zero purpose.. or so he said anyway.

Any body may be made with a free body feat if you have the materials to do so.

Staff basically is a wayfinder and psycrystal dock. So it just has slots for other things to go on; doesn't do much by itself.

Deathless is basically what I was looking for. Positive-energy spirit/fueled was what I was searching for, but I wasn't very clear about it. Only thing is that it is quite a strong template, so trying to look for a way to water it down.
