Since we won initiative, can I ready an action to attack it if it charges? If I do that, would my attack resolve before the charge action?
I'm hazy on the rules for readied actions.
Yes, you can do that and it would resolve before his attack, as an interrupt. You just lose your action if the beast doesn't charge, for obvious reasons.
I thought about that, but since it likely has reach I'm not sure how much good it will do. Worth a shot, though!
I can ready a 5 ft step and attack, if necessary - won't provoke an AoO and gets me in reach.

The bear is on the right edge of the tatical map. Since it's 'outside' the range of your attack, I'll move you behind Djebelle, and 'prepare' an action, which will trigger after the bear get's closer.

Are we waiting on the two elves to post combat actions for Round 1?
Apologies for being absent for the last ten days or so. Between preparing for my wife surgery and my own medical issues it has been a hard time for both of us. Now that she is home, and beginning the mending process, I have significantly more things to do as she can not do most of her normal activities till after New Year, so I will be doing them. Also I have to do a few additional four hour shifts at my part time job because two folks have left for better opportunities.
Therefore I have decided that I need to cut down on my own activities, and the easiest way is to not be involved with so many PbP games.
Currently I DM six games, and play in two. I am cutting that number in half.
I am dropping the following three campaigns:
Darklands (solo)
Legendary Planet
Rise of the Runelords 2
If you can find a DM to take them over, I will work with them to let them know where you currently are and any information that they need to continue. The other three campaigns I will continue to be the DM, and have a post out Tuesday.
I will be dropping out of the following campaign, bot me as needed till the end of the current activity, and please remove both my alias from the active list, thanks.

You DM 6 games? Wow, that's a lot! And you have all of that real life stuff too? Geez, how do you manage? I hope things get easier for you Damiel :( The holiday season should be a time of rest and relaxation with your family and friends.
Well, I am retired, but also 70 years old. I could manage when I did my chores, and she did her chores, but with having to walk the dog 90 minutes or so a day now (55 pounds and a puller would really mess up her surgery), and some extra time at my part time job at the hospital because of a couple of folks moving on, as well as other chores around the house, the time to run 6 PbP became unmanageable.
I will tell you one thing, I appreciate a lot more what my wife does around the house now that I have to do it.

The delivery on India Branch was a total mess, but thankfully, apart from 16hs shift a couple of days, there wasn't that much negative repercussion.

Yes, all Time -> Haste does is give one additional attack at your highest bonus. Because SoP is so new to most of us, I try to provide links to the SoP SRD.

Yep, my bad. Got tangled with preparations for the trip to india, and unusual busy schedule at work.
This week, I'll post usually at this time, then I'll travel on saturday, and should resume posting on Wed (It's a 30hs trip).

Yes, but I think that the concentration should take a move or swift action, instead of a standard.
Which means, you need the boon:
Easy Focus:(which can be taken as a feat) When maintaining a sphere ability through concentration, you only need to spend a move action to maintain concentration instead of a standard action. This does not decrease the sphere ability’s casting time, only the action used to maintain concentration.

As a general rule, if you have to roll an attack (even for spells), and you roll a 20, you deal at least 2x damage (more depending on the ability/attack description).
I rolled an extra 1d6 for the crit.

I finally arrived, but it was a mess.
My flight was: Brazil -> Amsterdam -> India
However, due to rains and weather on Brazil, the flight got delayed, and I missed the other flight on Amsterdam.
I had to re-book it thru Stockholm, then Deli.
And, if that wasn't enough, my luggage was mishandled in this whole mess, and I have only my handbag at the moment...
Anyway, I’m here, I survived, I don’t recommend flying with AirIndia, not ever! (my flight was KLM, but due to re-booking I had to take AirIndia from Stockholm to Deli), the food is super spicy but I’m good to go again. :D
