Good news: I got a promotion. Bad news: I now have a metric ****-ton of extra work to do, plus travel.

More side quests than I expected!
Today is the 6 month anniversary of when we started this campaign (August 28.) Might be a good time to look back on the adventure and character development. We're still in the first book so we haven't had too major of a story arc yet.

Rendyl will be able to tell you that the giant frogs are just that, giant frogs. They have 1 INT score, and are just some wild animals.
We lost power Friday at 1800, and it didn't come back till Sunday morning. Did spend Saturday afternoon and night over my sons house, but they had not internet service as that was down where they lived. At least it was warm. Spent yesterday just cleaning up and enjoying the warmth at home. Will get something out tomorrow, as I have to go to work this afternoon.
GM, do you mind updating our timeline? I've forgotten where we are. Charting the territory throws me off.

I'll do over weekend. To tell the truth, I'm lost as well on the timeline. I'll have to go back to the last event mentioned, then log all events after that, and their date. That might take some time, so I'll do it once I'm free and lazying about on weekend.

@Aku: I think tile exploration is the most confusing part. Side note: I'll have to pick a random day to be Tegan's birthday. Probably some time in Winter.

Been sick as a dog and exhausted since Wednesday. My son and I went to JFK airport (209 miles round trip) on Wednesday evening to pick up 10 puppies being flown in from Cayman Islands (he is the Adoptions Manager at the local SPCA), and didn't get home till 1:00AM, after putting them in their pods for the night. Exhausted, cold and sick for me....
And Happy St. Patrick Day. My grandsons 24 birthday.

As for Djebelle, I feel that 4 is probably an ok party size, but the lack of healing is definitely not. Maybe we should pick up a cleric thru recruitment?
I was creeping on Djebelle's other characters. She got a promotion in February and was handed a lot more work and travel. I'm happy for her promotion, but I'm sad I won't know the story behind her horse! :(

Where are the Sootscale Kobolds in the Kamelands and Tatzlwyrm supposed to be? I think the four current players could probably complete those encounters.
The kobolds are somewhere south of the trading post, no one knows for sure.
As for the Tatzlwyrm... that's even a deeper mystery.
You guys can try a knowledge local, to gather information about rumors and see if you can pinpoint a location for your search.

Music really pulls me into games. I love the Gun Goddess song (reminds me of Starcraft) and the loading screen music for Warcraft AHHHH!!! I don't even know what to do with myself! XD

If you are going to continue, without Vik, Djebelle and Hylaen, I could drop Damiel and bring in a healer type (Soul Weaver) to replace Djebelle and you could recruit a Warrior (barbarian, fighter, etc) and a Rogueish character, which might be easier than another SoP character.

Sorry all...I have been having trouble trying to see Vik in this game at the moment...he seems to have become irrelevant to the story. I am not sure why that is...he had tried to connect with several characters, but for the most part, he was ignored.
I have played with DM Aku before, and really like his style, but I am just not sure if continuing with Vik is a good idea, or perhaps come back with a different character...
@Vik - Whether you play Vik, or leave, or come back with another character is up to you and the DM. My opinion, we need a fighter, so I believe that you should stay with Vik.
@DM - If Vik stays; Option A - recruit a Roguish character, Damiel leaves and I bring in a Soul Weaver; Option B - recruit a Healer character and I stay with Damiel. I am ok with either, but I sorta like Option A.
@DM - We are in F12 and that is where the undead dude, Davik, is, right? I am "assuming" that the cave and mite are in F10? I'll post after the answers to this question, and the Vik / cleric question. It will make a difference on what Damiel suggest.

Irrelevant to the story?! They took your best friend and loyal companion - your valiant steed! If anyone should want to go kill a bunch of bandits, I think it should be Vik. Vik is the master swordsman. (The best in the greenbelt!) Enemies will learn to flinch when they hear the whistle of his blade!
I'm enjoying Vik but you should play whatever makes you happy. That might be reworking Vik's personality and motives - or perhaps creating a whole new character. You should play whatever makes you happy. I think if we have two witches or two paladins or two of the same whatever, we can make it work.
To your connection note: I think Tegan has trouble connecting with people (which isn't great if you need to be a team.) Maybe defeating the Stag Lord will prove to be the "team-building exercise" that solidifies the party? I'm not married to Tegan's character outline so if I need to change some things about how she interacts or her abilities, I can.
I'm a peppy, happy person so Tegan's reserved nature is difficult to rp sometimes. I guess what I'm saying is that I am seperate from my character and I appreciate and value everyone in this game. Tegan has this troubled past; I don't. Tegan is skeptical; I'm gullible. And omgosh if I had a pet mule irl I would constantly be baby-talking to him/her. I can't imagine Tegan doing that XD
I've added the crossing token (E13) and the Mite was found on F12, which is where the party token currently is.

I need you to decide if you still want to play, and if yes, with Vik or with another class.

That's fine for me, if you want to chance classes as well.
If you want to keep Damiel and just change the class, that's okay as well.
I will stay with Vik for the moment..maybe a bit of a change in his personality might make him a little more interesting and approachable...
@DM - I'll stay with Damiel for now. Let us see how the recruitment for a healer goes, before I change anything. If it goes poorly, I'll do a complete character change, including new alias, but we will see.
