Looking at the Loot List, I have a couple of suggestions and thoughts. Assuming that Oleg will let us store stuff at the guest house for future use;
1) It looks like rations are being tracked so don't sell rations but keep the "extra" at the guest house.
2) Same for arrows. Rendyl, especially, and Damiel will go thru a lot of arrows, so keep the "extra" at the guest house also.
We each get 69.7 GP from the initial sale of stuff to Oleg, right?
Damiel will take the five arrows he needs to have both quivers full.
Split the rations up, so we each end up with at least five days of "people" rations and five days of "horse" rations.
Looking at all the alias, only Damiel or Hylaen would benefit from the Studded Leather Armor. It is yours Hylaen if you wish as you ran up into the fray a lot quicker than Damiel ever will.

@About trail rations.
Well, since we will move the game in a storyteller fashion-ish instead of full open sand box style, I do not plan to keep track of rations/water and those daily basic necessities.
That would just make things complicated.
I also need to think about gold in general. While using automatic progression, the amount of ‘gold’ will just pile up, since there is no ‘magic items’ for sale anymore.
I’ll consider some possibilities, and tell you guys later about it.

I've done the same sort of thing in the past as a DM - usually as a way of letting my players know that while there may come a time for confronting and defeating a particular NPC, that time is not now.

Not that it really matters, but the reward will only be available in about a week (in game time). The lieutenant has to send word to Restov, and then they'll send the gold.

Seems like we have a decision to make, or several decisions really.
1) Kressle has told us where to find the Stag Lord - do we go straight there to confront him?
If so, do we
1a) Go it alone
1b) Take the other group with us as semi-reliable(?) allies(!?!?)
Or
2) Do we bide our time, build up our strength (aka level up) and do the exploration we have also been chartered to do, saving the fight with the Stag Lord until we're fully ready?
From a metagaming perspective, in the other Kingmaker campaign I'm in, the fight with the Stag Lord was the climax of the first AP module, and our (3rd level!) characters took a hell of a beating in the process. However, this version of the AP is already very, very different from the other one so I don't know what our DM has planned.

I would vote for option 2. This last fight with the bandits was a lot more perilous than the 1st encounter. Plus we can start exploration of hexes, fulfilling another mandate of our charter.
There is the problem of retaliation once the Stag Lord learns of the defeat of his northern force, but if I were him I'd consolidate my power or move on, not Attack. As an in game reason to delay, that is.

I'd choose option 2 as well. We should explore some hexes, fulfill other tasks and tackle the Stag Lord once we are better prepared. Unless he forces our hand. That's a reason why we shouldn't take too long, in game, to go after him.

Also, I had NO idea you could buy a guinea pig for 1 cp in the Ultimate Equipment book. You can buy a lot of crazy stuff in this game.

That's a reasonable thing to say. Even Kobolds don't like to have their spoils taken by someone else.

Sorry for being unavailable. Camping season is over. Sunday and Monday packed up stuff, closed camper, packed cars came home, and spent the Tuesday and Wednesday getting things put away. It is surprising how much "stuff" we had in the camper that needed to come home.
We also both have had doctor appointments this week. My wife found out yesterday that she needs surgery, so around November 15th I will be unavailable for a few days. Not an emergency, but at our ages, any surgery can be harsh.
Will have a post out later today. Need to spend time with wife.
