Sorry about that delay, Ive had quite the day, Without further ado, I have decided to go with the drawback Power Hungry. Because all things said and done, His plans for goblin dictatorship into eventually empereror hood probably lead that direction.

Yes all silly little things get your torches get your choppas and squishas.... soon soon your actions with my ....ever so helpful guidance and intellect and the world will tremble at goblin might!

The smallish goblin with the small mouth begans to laugh evilly while drumming his fingers together.

chewing chewing chewing, chewing all the day
feet ankle shin calf knee or thigh
from dwarf orc human gnome halfling elf or fey
those all flavors make me feel high
already have a bunch of exquisite meat?
seize an abbey raid a farm or torch a town
so you can have some more to eat:
fancy villagers silly farmers or monk in gown
just remember what to never have to eat
all the things that are green are to strife
no goblins veggies or orcs but frogs are neat
so thats is the nice goblin way of life

Purseater knows, knows, not a war song only lullaby, but only one me knows

Will we be getting pfs credit for certain dungeons/challenges for this?

I hope I understood the house rule of scaling feat upgrades. YBD, if you check out my future plans spoiler, I think I have the feats planned out correctly to become a battlefield monster, but I want to make sure I interpreted your feat process correctly.

With all the house rules and changes to the story I doubt this would be PFS eligible.

Actually, according to the document, you can set houserules with AP's and can still assign it to PFS characters. As long as you do certain encounters/dungeons. I think it just depends on the GM if he's willing to fill stuff in.

This is the one for S&S but the first text explains the rules for assigning. Don't think it has a problem with homerules.

About rules, which are the post rate and day schedule? I missed it? Or once the players are set will be discussed?

15 point buy isn't PFS...drawbacks aren't PFS...these aren't PFS legal characters, sorry bro.

While this is one of the sanctioned APs, I'm choosing not to give out Chronicle sheets due to the many changes I've made. I think, for PFS purposes, it's better to play through the AP mostly as-written.

Re: posting requirements - I'll discuss it with the chosen party and come up with something acceptable for everyone. After all, people have jobs/other RL responsibilities and are probably in different time zones.

ok, thank you
mmm, the time is comming :D

Please read the rules as written. You don't have to play it with a PFS legal character (including higher pb etc), as long as you assign it to a PFS legal character.

On page 1 last section.

"Alternatively, if you are participating in the Rise of
the Runelords Adventure Path with an ongoing group
undertaking the entire, six-chapter campaign, you may
receive credit for playing the sanctioned portions of the
adventure as if you had played a pregenerated character.
In this case, GMs running the Adventure Path are not
bound to the rules of the Pathfinder Society Organized
Play campaign (such as 20-point buy, unavailability of
hero points, etc.) when running the campaign or the
sanctioned portion of the adventure."

I totally didn't know that. Cool.

I would have read the document if not for work and a lack of opportunities to do so. Therefore, thanks for the quote. :)

As long as the section is run properly the GM only has to fill in the chronicles and register it so its easy peasy. No adjusting or making sure its legal.

I want to run this game either way because it sounds awesome, but the credit would be sweet ;).

Yeah, I have run or played in at least 2 AP games that didn't follow PFS rules but we still got a chronicle to apply to one of our characters. I am happy to play without credit as well because I have actually only GMed this AP and the goblin concept intrigues me but as Bogsy noted PFS credit would be an added benefit if selected :)

This might be an unfair question, YBD, but... Any idea how long you'll take to peruse the applications? Are we likely to have an answer over the weekend?

All right, everybody. I'm closing recruitment in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

*ding!*

Now on to the fun part: reviewing the applications. I'll have the final party composition tonight. :-)

Woo!

Tonight eh? You're not Australian are you?

Sweet! I don't mind getting eliminated but I hate to wait to find that out. :P

Actually, I'm in FL, so EST for me. :-) I have half of the slots filled thus far, so progress is being made. Of course, I'm evil, so I'm not revealing anything until I'm completely done. *GM grin*

Arghhhh!

That's a point against that "Benevolent" portion of your propoganda. :P

You'll see how "benevolent" he is when he throws at you exploding undeads hidden in wagons with an affinity for critting bite attacks. :P

I'm sure that I have absolutely no idea what you're referring to. *whistles innocently while tiptoeing away*

The problem I see her is that "tonight" can mean "stupid early tomorrow morning". I hope it doesn't.

Or, "tonight" can mean right now. ;-)

This was an excruciatingly difficult decision. At one point, I had 5 equally-good submissions and only 1 slot left. I was THIS close to just rolling a die, but in the end, I made the final decision based on party balance. Thanks to everyone who showed interest; I feel terrible that I couldn't choose everyone. If my schedule opens up enough that I can run another campaign, you'll be the first people I contact.

In the end, I'm going with the following 8 characters (in no particular order):

Brother Tochack – Dawnflower Dervish Bard
Doesn’t Play Well With Others – Evoker
Auntie Targa – Gravewalker Witch
Teefee – Druid (Giant Wasp)
Stickymitts – future Rage Prophet
Makena Sootscale – Lotus Geisha Bard
Puseater of the Licktoad – Scout Rogue
Laszlo ‘Lasz’ – Zen Archer

Please report to the Gameplay Thread for further details.

Hmm, half the party is arcane...

Anyway, huzzah!
