Wylliam Harrison |

Hell......o.o
Wylliam is surprised he got hit like that. All his fighting vs undead and he gets hit some shambling kobold. Despite the ache of the hit, he swings his sword again.
Swing sword: 1d20 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 1 + 1 + 2 = 23
Dmg: 1d8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 2 = 9
Crit check: 1d20 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 + 2 = 8
:( bummer, dice generator isn't on our side.

Scath Lynx |

Scath growls and launches into the kobold again.
Bite: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Claw: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Claw: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2
damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2

Alexis Carevin |

Alexis helps Trusk with his kobold, shooting two missiles of sheer force that fly very close to the Half-Orc and strike the kobold:
Magic Missiles: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 3) + 2 = 7 Same damage, just to check ^_^

Luther Callahan |

Grapple, Pinning: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Luther twists the zombie's arms behind its back, places a leg and then forces the creature to the ground. He reaches blindly for the rope hanging from his pack, hoping to truss up the zombie for now.

Valeria Veilwarden |

To Hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Oops. Valeria is distracted by Wylliam getting stabbed, and somewhat more importantly, the sudden rush of pain to her own side. Her follow-through swing is still off-course by a fair way. Since when were undead this hard to hit?!

Scath Lynx |

Scath makes a noise. Scaredy two-legs. Running never option. The feline growls in a smug tone. Temporarily relocating to heal and set new ambush on the other paw...

Trusk, the Warchild |

Retreat and regroup is always a valid option.

ROUND 2 - GROUP 1
Scath growls and launches into the kobold again. A whirling mass of claws and teeth attack landing damaging hits. The creature seems to be barely standing. Kobold 2 is bloodied.
Luther twists the zombie's arms behind its back, places a leg and then forces the creature to the ground. He reaches blindly for the rope hanging from his pack, hoping to truss up the zombie for now. Kobold 3 is pinned. Marked with a light blue color to represent this.
Trusk silently swings his sword again in a tired, lazy fashion. Only for his sword to bounce off of a non-rotted spot in the Kobold's armor.
Alexis, no longer caught off-guard, helps Trusk with his kobold, shooting two missiles of sheer force that fly very close to the Half-Orc and strike the kobold. Kobold 1 is bloodied.
Trusk's kobold stabs at him with its spear. Only to have been pointed in the wrong direction by that bouncing blow.
Kobold 1 Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Scath's kobold moves to stab in the bush again. And almost hits Scath only for the lynx to nimbly move out of the way.
Kobold 2 Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 63
Kobold 2 Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Luther's pinned kobold fights to get free. It struggles hard, but it's attempts are futile. Luther maintains his hold.
Kobold 3 Break Pinned Attempt: 1d20 ⇒ 18
ROUND 2 - GROUP 2
Wylliam is surprised he got hit like that. All his fighting vs undead and he gets hit some shambling kobold. Despite the ache of the hit, he swings his sword again. And lands a solid hit! He slices a huge gash into rotting flesh and bone. Kobold 2 is bloodied
Valeria is distracted by Wylliam getting stabbed, and somewhat more importantly, the sudden rush of pain to her own side. Her follow-through swing is still off-course by a fair way. Since when were undead this hard to hit?!
Both Kobolds move to hit the living one in front of them.
Kobold 1 Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Valeria manages to barely dodge the blow as it glances against her.
Kobold 2 Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Wylliams kobold is still reeling from the power of the blow landed against it, and misses its target.
Round 3 Begin

Wylliam Harrison |

Wylliam sees the kobold zombie take a chopping from his sword. But since it's not yet over no time to waste.
Though if i'm taking another hit like that last one i'm not so happy.
With the thought in mind, he takes a defensive stance.
Fighting Defensively, -4 acc +2 AC till next round.
Swing sword: 1d20 + 1 + 1 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 1 + 1 + 2 - 4 = 9
Dmg: 1d8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 2 = 6
Seems like a safer choice. Now hopefully the kobold isn't isn't as bright on hitting again.
Free action: Speak to Valeria.
"As much as i'd like to win our wager, chop it up good."

Luther Callahan |

Collecting the zombie's various limbs in one place, Luther loops the rope around and around the miserable creature. Effectively restrained, Luther stands and dusts off his hands.
DC: 23 strength check or DC: 24 CMB check.

Scath Lynx |

Scath see's the creature is almost down, and bites at it again.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
If it goes down after that, then Scath will convert his full attack into a standard + move and follow the red line over into the bushes next to the other bloodied one. If it doesn't, he'll continue his full attack.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1

Trusk, the Warchild |

Trusk, starting to get annoyed at his own body's refusal to cooperate and mumbling to himself, swings once again at the kobold in front of him.
"Stupid arms... Work..."
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 3) + 4 = 11

Alexis Carevin |

Alexis will try a double kill if both Scath's and Trusk's Kobolds are still alive, sending one missile each. If only Trusk's is alive she will send the two missiles on that one.

ROUND 3 - GROUP 1
Collecting the zombie's various limbs in one place, Luther loops the rope around and around the miserable creature. Effectively restrained, Luther stands and dusts off his hands.
Scath see's the creature is almost down, and bites at it again. Taking it down with just one attack.
Trusk, starting to get annoyed at his own body's refusal to cooperate and mumbling to himself, swings once again at the kobold in front of him.
"Stupid arms... Work..."
Seems his arms don't want to work, missing the kobold completely.
Alexis onces again calls on her magic, sending missiles flying towards Trusk's zombie. It crumples to her magical might.
The remaining zombie struggles against its in inescapable bonds.

Alexis Carevin |

"Hey, look Trusk! Luther has kept one for you, do you think you can hit that one?" She laughs.

Scath Lynx |

Scath rumbles in amusement when he hears Alexis making fun of Trusk, and pulls a fast fade. No, he can't... The feline thinks to himself in amusement as he re-enters the brush.

Then he'll proceed into his smaller cave and start heading deeper in, waiting for the two-legs to stir up trouble so he can try to locate the other child (or both children, if Alexis is right that the last corpse was fake).

Trusk, the Warchild |

Trusk glares at Alexis and growls through clenched teeth as he walks over to the bound zombie. With a swift swing he brings his greatsword down on the creature's neck.
Coup de Grace: 4d6 + 8 ⇒ (1, 5, 5, 6) + 8 = 25
I don't think it's gonna make the fort save on that. Too bad all my good rolls came after the combat effectively ended.
"Good work on binding that one, Luther."

Alexis Carevin |

I believe Undead get destroyed under 0 HP, so he is definitely dead now.
"It seems we will be facing this things for quite a while. We need to better plan our movements. Focus on one, then move in turns to destroy one at a time. Otherwise they have too many chances of hitting us. I'm impressed by their numbers, was there a kobold tribe nearby? Shall we get moving now?"

Luther Callahan |

"I can take one out like that again pretty quickly. It was not particularly difficult to do but defending myself will be complicated," he says, unwinding the ropes. "I'll carry your rope too, Trusk, so I can do that more than once if need be."

Trusk, the Warchild |

"Good ideas all around. If you're willing to risk it, Luther, the rope seems to be an extremely effective method of dealing with these kobolds. Just don't put yourself in too compromising a position if you can avoid it. Same goes for trying to focus on one. Don't move past an enemy just to help engage another if you can avoid it. Picking a target for everyone helps, but only if you can reach it safely."
Trusk takes a ragged cloth from his pocket and wipes down the edge of his blade with it. As he cleans the putrid gunk off of his weapon, he continues.
"Trust me on these things. I may be out of practice and rusty, but combat was my life for years. I'd rather a fight last a minute longer than lose a comrade to a rookie mistake. And speaking of losing someone, we'd best get a move on. We don't know if the children are alive still, but that false corpse gives me the feeling that they are. If we hurry, we might reach them in time to ensure they stay that way."
As he finishes, Trusk stuffs the rag back into his pocket and gives Luther the rope that was in his pack.
Gave Luther 100ft of rope.

Scath Lynx |

And again, Trusk ignores Scath keeping him alive by killing a kobold single handedly.

Trusk, the Warchild |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you hide in a bush while you were doing this? 18 seconds of combat, with a tired Trusk engaging a target. Tunnel vision + animal in its natural habitat = easily missed.

Scath Lynx |

Scath be stealthy, but not when growling and biting and clawing, even from a bush. Also, kobold was not stealthy, hiding, in bushes, or out of line of sight. If Trusk can't keep track of non-hiding, staggered, rotting, putrid, opponents with spears that are 15 feet from him in the middle of combat, Trusk need to go back to town and retire to church and prune roses in garden. :)

Alexis Carevin |

Group 1 will move following the tracks until they get a visual on enemies or the cave, then we wait for the others.

DM Kana |

Sorry Valeria, I'm going to go ahead and GMPC you for this combat round so we can keep it moving.
ROUND 3 - GROUP 2
Wylliam sees the kobold zombie take a chopping from his sword. But since it's not yet over no time to waste.
Though if i'm taking another hit like that last one i'm not so happy.
With the thought in mind, he takes a defensive stance. Swing at the zombie, he was unable to land a blow again.
He called out to Valeria, "As much as i'd like to win our wager, chop it up good."
Valeria focused on the undead before her. But she missed as well.
Valeria's Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
The two Kobolds returned the assault.
Kobold 1 Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
The Valeria's kobold landed its hit, but it was only a graze wound.
Kobold 2 Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Wylliam's kobold was facing the wrong way, and as it tried to stab in front of it, it only hit a bush instead.
Round 4 Begin.
If everyone is okay with it, let's get Wylliam and Valeria out of combat.

Trusk, the Warchild |

You guys need to finish your combat before you can catch up with us.
-Posted with Wayfinder

Alexis Carevin |

Since Valeria didn't show up yesterday and today, do you mind if I take the liberty of moving this along?
Round 4 - Valeria
The danger of the situation and the hatred of the woman against the undead make her swing in a renewed fury!
1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 4 + 1 = 20! Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 3) + 6 = 13
If she kills it she will move to circle the other one.

DM Kana |

@Wylliam: The dice don't want you to win. XD
@Alexis: And go ahead, since it seems you have more luck than she does. I would like to get them out of combat. I'm sure she would like to be out of combat too.
ROUND 4 - GROUP 2
Wylliam keeps up his defense, but it seems to be working against him offensively as he completely misses and almost loses his balance briefly from trying to do both at once. He regains it quickly and maintains his guard. More flavor than actual penalty.
The danger of the situation and the hatred of the woman against the undead make her swing in a renewed fury! Her fury decimates the kobold, leaving a pile of dust!
The remaining Kobold Pokes it's spear at Wylliam.
Kobold Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
And it stabs in the right direction but that off balance attack actually moved Wylliam out of the way when he stumbled!
Round 5 - GO!

Alexis Carevin |

Round 5 - Valeria
Having moved to circle the creature (on the previous round) Valeria finishes her approach on the creature's blind spot and then swings again:
"I've won! What do I get if I kill both of them?"
Greatsword: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 2 = 11! Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3) + 6 = 11

DM Kana |

ROUND 5 - GROUP 2
Obviously...a vein on Wylliam's head is twitching on the side of his head. He's pretty annoyed. Annoyed and taking a gamble, he uses his normal pose again. Only to miss... Again.
Having moved to circle the creature (on the previous round) Valeria finishes her approach on the creature's blind spot and then swings again:
"I've won! What do I get if I kill both of them?"
And the second Kobold falls.
Combat over!

Alexis Carevin |

I think Kana saw the wrong numbers there, but anyway:
Greatsword: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 22! Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 2) + 6 = 11
Now you command group 2 Wylliam. Do whatever you want (mind the hour).

Wylliam and Valeria have finished their combat. Both took blows, but Wylliam's is worse.
Either may make a Heal DC 20 Check to Treat Deadly wounds, but this expends 2 uses of a healer's kit. For each use of a healer's kit you do not have, a -2 penalty applies to the check. This will allow some healing of HP. This check does take an hour.
