A Haunting at Perdition's Point - B (Inactive)

Game Master Kana

The small hamlet of Perdition's Point has always been haunted by the shadowy spirits that dwell in the forest of Cadaverwood. Locals from towns bordering the woods share terrifying tales of this haunted town, but the citizens of Perdition's Point would have you believe it's not so bad. But with the recent disappearance of two of the local children, the town is on edge. Who will step up and debunk the chilling mystery? And who was responsible for such heinous crimes?

"Thank you Trusk, that was most refreshing." Valeria, unwounded but invigorated by the positive energy, bows her head at Trusk in gratitude for the healing he has given. "Now that this one is dead, we move forward until the next one is spotted, and we do the same thing if it has a melee weapon, everyone prepare to chop it up when it charges." She continues, her voice still just barely above a whisper. "If it has ranged weaponry, then we charge it instead." Again taking the lead, she moves forward.

She moves forward along the red arrow. At the point marked 'A', the kobold becomes visible. If it's got a ranged weapon, she continues forward along the blue line and attacks it. If it has a melee weapon, she moves to the west 5 ft along the yellow line, and then readies an attack to hit it when it charges.

Valeria wipes the gore off her face from the latest, and makes a face. "Ugh, now I remember why I hate zombies." She whispers, before grinning. "That worked rather well though, if we keep doing that and moving slow and careful, we should be ok. Trusk? Do we go left or right?"

Valeria glares. "I paid attention. I was asking your opinion on which way would be the better to go. Perhaps that was too advanced a concept?"

Trusk:

You remember a note you found crumpled on the ground earlier near the caved-in area.

"The only thing of note near the cave-in was another couple zombies and a piece of paper with some gibberish on it, while the stream area had drag marks from where that fake body was pulled out."

Valeria grits her teeth and obviously has trouble not smacking Trusk. "First off, I shall never ask your opinion again, since you are apparently too uncivilized to give it. Secondly, what scrap of paper? You never mentioned a scrap of paper before. If you can't read it, perhaps someone who's had more than 2 days of schooling can? Or someone with a brain?"

"Well, if none of us can read it, we should take the note back and see if anyone in town knows the language. For now let's head along the stream, the worst that can happen is more zombies," Luther said, growing weary of the bickering.

Each take a look at the note in turn. None present are able to read it. Deciding to ask back at the village, the group moves on with Wylliam in front. Wylliam and Valaria are both hampered by the lower ceiling in the area, that forces them to duck. As they both try to swing, both miss the creature in front of them, though Valeria gets the feeling she would have hit if not hampered by the ceiling. Stepping back, she allows Luther to step forward. Luther slams his fist with into the creature with a satisfying crunch. His second attack goes wide. As he punches, Alexis shoots a ray at the creature only to have it fly past everyone to slam into the wall, marking the wall with a patch of ice.

The ceiling is 4-4.5 feet in this area. Medium creatures count as Squeezing in the green areas. This means -4 to Attack and -4 to AC while in the marked areas.

Trusk once again cast guidance on Wylliam, but it does not seem to help much as Wylliam's attack swings wide, but Alexis is true in her aim. Blasting the Kobold with her ray. Luther, too tries to take out the kobold.
