Having said that the idea of making money while it just sits there appeals to Podo. However in his spirit he would negotiate for 5%, as Adventuring is a high risk job, and Sallandrya might not be around to repay him.
[But if she sweet talks him he will lend her the money at 4%]
Podo is such a charming fellow that Sallandrya could not possibly negotiate.
So 5% it is and meat pies on her until the dept is paid.
Sallandrya's purchases from the Elven Enclave in Verbobonc
Elven Compound Short Bow +1 (+5 Damage from Str) 4,000 gp (discounted price 3,600)

(possibly Elven Chain Mail if Anselth provides amount not prohibitive)
Total 10,150 gp (discounted to 9,135 gp expenses)
Current Gold
6,145 gp + 2,995 gp loan from Podo (at 5% interest)

You've been posting!
Anselth, guys!
I am sorry I was in California for a few weeks and had a new phone!
I went on the Paizo page but I forgot to sign in so I did not see your posts until I got to my computer at home today! I am so sorry some of them are a few weeks old I am very sorry! I will read them all!
For some reason the gameplay thread is not showing in my campaign tab and I could not find it!
I just located it and it says there are 48 posts I had not read but they were not there before because I was not signed in!
I am so sorry I kept checking twice daily on my new phone but had not realized I was not signed in!
I am sorry if I kept you and the group waiting!
Sorry! Sorry!
I will begin reading now and should be caught up after school homework and work tomorrow.
I have a lot of catching up to do!

Interesting discussion about rogues on the boards. I mentioned one of the perqs of old school thieves was they were encouraged to grab more wealth from the party. The fact that they often had to pay a cut to the thieves guild sometimes countered that, to a certain extent, but they were often ahead of others at least in wealth.
With the group here, it is funny that Sally actually mentioned allowing Podo and Gnobby to 'skim' off the top as they accounted for the parties wealth. I floated the idea with a newer group that rogues may do something like that, and they were horrified. No hiding anything from the rigorous loot spreadsheet that details everything that is found in the game--the party needs to know where every found item or treasure goes. GM Anselth actually allowed Gnobby his little "business shenanigans" with the shopkeeper on the side.
Anyway, just found it interesting how things have changed. The rogue has evolved considerably from the old school thief, and has been found sadly lacking by most.

We are both playing rogues in that game, Chainmail, and I feel exactly the same way about the loot tracker. I'd never abuse the stealing from the party" but this was going to be my first greedy rogue......ever. Shame.
It is a highly organised game but unfortunately we don't get to skim or steal. I have to trust no one is reading my spoilers which I've been burnt over before.
Good to get this game going again.

I like that they broadened the rogue to be more than a thief, I don't like that a lot of folks take it to mean it can't be a thief. There is still a skill for robbing people. Rogue's should be permitted to partake in extra-curriculars. The one in my home game does. Of course, he's not bright about it...

Thank you for the 'success' versus the profiteering Hommlett shop.
Notice Gnobby did not do anything but keep his profits to himself.
A true victimless crime is what every thief aspires to.
Good to be back Anselth. Thanks for DMing. I know how hard it can be!!!! Anyway, as a player, just glad you are in the driver's seat. Make it how you want it to be rather than how you think it should be!!!

It is great. My guys pretty much had one long fight from 10am to 7pm. Gnome Barbarian (AC11) took 500+ points of damage and went to -24 and survived! Thanks to stoneskin, fast healing and damage reduction he actually took much less. Having two tanks run over him and then get up was very scenic indeed.
I was fragged after, 14th level is so different from my usual much lower level stuff.
Cheers and hope everyone had a good Easter.

I am in a few games that have stalled or slowed down to a snails pace. But that means I cannot tell whether I can apply for a new game because I do not know where I stand. Now this one stopping would be a massive shame, especially with all the work that Anselth has put in, but my patience with no updates or communication is pretty low.
Therefore I'll bow out with thanks to everyone and look forward to gaming again with any of you.
Regards
Andy

I miss eating pies with my buddies and stealing from ill tempered shop keepers. If anyone wants to run an adventure for Gnobby, let me know.
Gnobby also misses his paladin friend. He had a holy symbol and everything and offered him some credibility.
