Brief Character Presentation: Doodle is a very typical fast talking, easily distracted gnome. She has a keen interest in dragons, as her family told her that their lineage had dragon blood throughout it. She's a bit of a goody goody, always wanting to help out a friend.

Brief character presentation: Syrak is a well built blonde man with light olive skin in his early 20s. He has a golden shield tattooed on his right palm and a green sword tattooed on his left.

Brief character presentation: Numair is a tall, well-muscled half-elf with white-blonde hair and striking hazel eyes. He wears a robe of bright green, trimmed with gold, and has a well-used morningstar at his side.

Brief Character Presentation: Lionel is a big, muscled man with dark skin. A diamond-studded golden earring stands in each of his ears. In his clothing, purple and yellow are predominant. On his breastplate is the holy symbol of Calistria, always shined, even if the rest of his armor isn't. On his head is a needlessly large-brimmed hat, purple in colour, with a long yellow feather.

A somewhat unnerving grin sits on his face almost constantly.

Brief character presentation: Eveline is a stout halfling, and is easily one of the tallest women of her race. She has a stern gaze and a no-nonsense mentality comparable to venture-captain Ambrus Valsin. She wears a chain shirt armor over her clothes on her rather buxom frame, and carries a selection of handheld weapon including a quality composite longbow on her back. She keeps her curly mid-length, brown hair open, though tied into a ponytail when necessary.

Day job: I am a performer, an actor and reciter of fine oratories
Brief character presentation:Bazim is a rather plump man with an ostentatious style. His booming voice carries far and wide, and his rousing recitations inspire the warrior in even the simplest peasant. Bazim is armed with a bow and a rapier. Despite his rotund stature, he appears to know how to use them.

Bazim, please provide a day job roll (performance I guess) for your job.

Didn't realize the gameplay thread has been ongoing all this time, I had patiently waited for an announcement.

Fun Fact: the Pig's Paunch was not actually the place of origination for the Pathfinder Society. It was, instead, the Wounded Wisp. There has been some talks about how this mix-up happened. AFAIK Kyle Baird originally had written Wounded Wisp, which in editing was changed to the error.

In another unrelated issue I wish to discuss a little about game style, mainly about how you feel about interacting with other characters. In case you've read both Lionel's and Eveline's descriptions, they both hold some themes not suitable for minors, but aren't "in your face" types either. I for one have no qualms about utilizing these themes to further develop a conversation, and frankly find slightly conflicting conversations between PCs refreshing. If everyone pulls the same rope all the time and is always nice to each other and so forth, there's little to no PC interaction, which makes games too dull, IMHO at least.

It's better to know now if any of you wish to keep the roleplaying within certain borders and/or not bring certain topics into play.

Hehe. You seem to know your stuff. That, and the general bossiness is why Lionel appointed you as an unofficial leader.

If we need to, I can shout positioning and tactical advice in combat.

EDIT: I saw Eve's edit, and, of course, if you say, I can definitely tone down Lionel's Lionel-iness. Just limited to a snicker at times. If anyone wants to say something, I'll keep it in mind.

I usually try to keep it relatively PG, though if something is off, do inform me.

Until then I'll just play it by ear.

Brief character presentation: Tall and lanky, Reed's slender limbs hide an impressive physical strength. The man has axes placed all over his person, brown eyes peer out of a tanned face, dark brown hair grown shaggy.

I'm going to be at GenCon and largely out of contact from July 28th - August 3rd.

If you happen to be there and want to say hi I'll be the 6'4" Pirate trying to keep his sanity while mustering for the ACG in the morning/afternoon.

I'm at the countryside this weekend and it appears my new operator's coverage over here is abysmal (only EDGE, no HSDPA+...) so I'm limited as to how I can update. Back on Sunday evening then.

I realized that my move just now may be impossible, since I didn't try to overrun. In which case, I'd do the same, just move to the square North-West of the blue skeleton.

I think you are having problems seeing the caves walls borders in your device. The square you are pointing out is part of the cavern stone and cannot be occupied by material creatures :P

That is basically all guys. You still could potentially explore the western cavern from Uori, but as I am leaving in holidays I have preferred to hand-wave the optional encounter, and thus you already got explored all the minimum areas you need to get your mission to be a success.

You also succeeded in your secondary mission as you saved Janira, followed her orders and identified the carvings and some of you even explained how you were taking notes.

I would prefer to leave it like this, as it would be difficult for me to comfortably update the game otherwise. But I am open to hold the game and resume once I return if you wish to explore the last remaining cavern.

This seems like a reasonable place to call the scenario; I am happy for it to end here.

Reed, Numair, Lionel... Bazim, Doodle, and Syrak even! Are any of you up for some tagteaming into some other Core game? I'm keen on trying to keep the same group (or mostly the same group) from mission to mission. Rutseg won't probably be running a game just yet, so I thought if there's a willing GM you know of who'd run one for the team.

Just a thought. This time character interaction was a little lower than I'd wish it to be, but there's always room for improvement.

I'm going to be travelling a bit later this month and I'm currently trying to wind my games down so as to not cause problems. I appreciate the invite though.

I need to park Doodle until Gameday 4 starts, as I have her signed up for a game starting then, so I have to pass as well. I had a great time, though!

You probably created them with the "Register a New Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Character" button instead of the "Register a New Pathfinder Core Roleplaying Character" button.

You can try to request your character to be changed to Core in the Website Feedback forum, but you probably will end having to create a new character with the Core option and assign the chronicle to him instead.

Yeah, I'm unsure if the reporting form will ever be fixed. I did request a correction some many months back and AFAIK nothing has happened.

I do horribly apologise about the scarcity of my posts this game. I was busy rounding up at my work (and it's 70 hour work weeks), and some days I was simply unable to post. Bright side is, I'm free now!

I'd absolutely take part in another Core adventure, The Lion's always ready for action!

Also, why would you put the triple dot as you invited me? I get the feeling that Eveline doesn't particularly like Lionel (That's a nat 1 on Sense Motive, right here!)

I think the triple dot was actually separating the first three (who had already adventured together), from the latter three (who were new for this game); I don't think it was actually a comment about Lionel ;-)

I think it depends on the sort of work you are doing - I am currently doing an 84 hour work week (but it is shift work)...

It is (was!) a full-commission job. It's all gone now, I can enjoy the Edinburgh festival. It was good, but it was too much of a career feel to it, and I wasn't planning to do that.

Is there another reason to wait for PbP Gamedays other than to get a boon? I personally despise boons and have turned down nearly all of them, including a boon to create a sylph.

Anyone have ideas for what to play next and under whose command? One could just post a note on some of the "lodges" (Flaxseed, Zedroom, what have you) and tell there's a potential team of 4 or 5 players wishing to team up together for a CORE game.

Clarification of a couple things:
- Subtier 2 gold: As there is no out-of-tier for 1-2 adventures, I think you get the gold from the subtier played, in this case 2. I remember having read some clarification like this in the forums, from the guide it is not clear.
- Crossed items: They correspond to the Dhampir room, there some items are to be picked randomly, so I crossed the ones that did not appear in the adventure.

As noted elsewhere in the discussion, the difference is so small, it's not really worth fixing if you've already issued chronicles.
