The ISS Verdant Dawn, a luxury starliner travelling toward the end of it's long run out into the fringe. The nearby space being filled with nebulae and sector wide expansions of cosmic effluvia and debris, blocking out any suns that might exist.

It's stately course is measured, it's systems well maintained on the profitable run, not so much from it's passengers as from the cargo it will pick up at the end of it's long run and return to the sector capital.

It's crew is well trained, it's facilities well maintained... and it will never be seen again...

This is the tale of it's passengers and crew... those who survive that is...

02:00, Ship's Time, Wonday March 23rd, 1142

ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! GRAVITY CONTROL MALFUNCTION! POWER SYSTEM MALFUNCTION! JUMP DRIVE MALFUNCTION! PRIMARY COMPUT...

The blaring from the ship's intercom trails off in a burst of static, leaving little doubt that the last bit was 'Primary Computer Malfunction'. The ship's gravity does indeed cut off, then reverse, then slam into a high G overburst that sends grav plates bursting into showers of sparks as they burn out. All over the ship, people are awakened in their berths, slammed into the ceiling, and then slammed into their berths again. Pressure klaxons sound, and bulkheads slam into place to protect atmosphere. The ship's hull screams, and rivets fire like champagne corks as the ship's superstructure is torqued beyond it's ability to hold.

Then the ship almost feels like it turns inside out, and then is pulled through a keyhole before being inflated again back to something resembling it's normal self.

It suddenly drops out of sidreal space and back into normal space, it's crew and passengers either dead or battered to unconsciousness...

Roll 2d6, on a 2, you were walking around the deck and take 3d6 damage from the grav plate excesses. On a 12, you were strapped in either to an acceleration chair or strapped into your berth, and take only 1d6 and gain a +2 DM to wake up. On any other roll, you take 2d6-3 damage and make a normal END check to wake up.

Roll a End 8+ check (with modifiers based on above) to wake up, if you fail, roll again with a +1 DM. Repeat until you wake up. The longer it takes, the less time you have to get off the ship before it breaks up!

Jenni came to, lying in her berth. What had just happened? She checked herself for permanent injury and found only a bruised arm and a few contusions. She struggled to her feet, feeling the deck reel beneath her. Something had gone terribly, terribly wrong.

Jenni struggles to her feat are either significantly easier or significantly harder depending on ones point of view. Her head still reeling, it takes her a minute to realize that the gravity is completely gone, and the floor she's trying to stand up from is actually the wall of her cabin.

Zero G skill comes into play! No gravity! If you do not have Zero-G skill, you suffer a -2 DM to all rolls for all skills that require physical movement. This applies to all characters!

my endurance is gone...I can still move right...If not, I'll call for help, otherwise...

Fru Fru yelps as Scandalous slams into the top of her compartment. Her little animal, whose emotions are expressed by its fur changing colors, was now bright red. It scurries around her body with it's freaky like squirrel hands so as to avoid getting crushed. Her limp body slams back into her bunk.

She moans in pain. The klaxons push her up. She grabs her stylish jumpsuit and zips it up. The skin tight fabric begs for mercy in just the right places. The pop star grabs the essentials and activates her camera drone.

You can move with a single stat at 0. But you are in pain, and while the system doesn't have any rules for being at 0, I'll be houseruling that being at 0 in a single stat produces a -2 DM to all tests from the pain. Fru Fru however is unconscious as both End and Str have been reduced to 0. They are in danger of dying if they take more damage.

Scandalous wakes up, and reaches for a suit that is not there. Looking around, she finds herself floating in mid air, her small pet floats nearby, it's fur black indicating it's severely injured, although the little white tips to the ears assures her it's still alive.

Zero g skill checks to right yourself and get the jumpsuit on, remember the -2 from pain

Dev awakens in a room lit garish red by the emergency lights. The ship has no gravity, and power seems to be down to bare minimum. He is not sure how much time has passed. He's floating in the small self service snack room he was in when the ship went haywire. There is food floating around, making a mess, and globs of liquid mixed in to further the mess where drinks that were sitting on the disposal shelf flew off and spilled.

Not really, you'd normally not need a roll to dress yourself, it's an easy thing (+6 DM), however, the penalties cancel that out, and so you need to roll a flat 6+ on the dice. Sorry, should have been clearer.

Scandalous manages to grab the jumpsuit, and push her way into it, although it's a near thing as she floats in the air and spins.

Combat Alert! General Quarters!...no, wait, Misjump.. Malt snaps awake, operating on instinct before he processes the announcement coming across the speaker, and then all thought stops for a moment as he is hurled across the room.

Reverting to combat discipline, Malt shrugs into his gear and activates the mag boots before exiting into the corridor.

"Ytsa, connect me to the Bridge" Ytsa is what I'm calling Malt's Aide program...I guess it's Droyne for 'Siri'

Any chance that flight capability or small size and a favorable cube-square ratio might mitigate the damage?

Jenni blanched for a moment as her stomach caught up with the fact that the artificial gravity was out, but her training kicked in and she soon righted herself and pushed gently off the wall in the direction of the door. The passengers were going to need help, not to mention the crew.

Scandalous's floater's grav turns on, and nothing much else happens, as the anti-grav can't work without gravity. But the phone turns on and the camera turns on. "error error no gravity field detected error error no system connections present error error" The AI reports, unable to compensate for an unexpected situation.

Malt gears up, as he does so, Ytsa begins to respond. "error comm system offline error unable to contact bridge error" The small device responds, it's AI not programmed for this sort of thing. Unless someone has a very powerful computer the CA's on them aren't very smart

Stepping out into the hallway outside his quarters, Malt finds Glitch floating out into the hallway in a standard ship jumpsuit. She has a gash on her forehead, but looks ok.

Glitch sees Malt is not looking so good, he has a nasty looking bruise on his face, and one of his wings is bent in a way it shouldn't bend... probably.

The corridor in the crew quarters area is much shorter than it should be, the internal bulkhead has slammed down, and the lights on it indicate vacuum beyond, meaning that 2/3rds of the crew quarters as well as life support and secondary engineering are cut off and potentially exposed to vacuum.

Sorry Malt, being small just means you bounce around better in the fluctuating gravity

Tam clomps out into the hallway, magnetic boots clicking as she walks into the hallway. The hallway is dimly lit with red emergency lights. The ship creaks and groans, and the air pressure is about 2/3rds of what it should be, indicating that there's been some atmospheric loss. Even looking down the hallway she can tell the ship is heavily damaged, the hallway has a noticeable twist to it.

Darrian 7C7BE5

Crap, its worse than I thought, Tam laments. No time to waste she quickly lumbers down the twisted hallway in the direction of the life rafts.

Ignoring the voice, Tam continues down the corridor, following the flashing emergency arrows.

Several bulk heads have closed, indicating there are damaged portions of the ship without atmosphere.

She reaches the emergency life pod bay, and looks on at a bay with 5 pod doors, all of which are shut tight, the clear bulk head window showing that the pods have been used.

Also showing through the windows is a gas giant, with a distant sun, all backlit by a massive nebulae. The lass of the viewport is already scored by the gas, slowly mazzing over.

The planet is visibly growing larger as she looks through the window, indicating the ship has a significant delta currently.

Astrogation or Physics to get a guess as to how long before the ship hits the atmosphere

"We need to get to a terminal and see if we can determine the level of damage. We can check for survivors on the way."

Seeing that Jenni seems comfortable in Zero-G, Malt stops only momentarily to adjust her position so she can reach a handhold (if needed) before shuffling painfully down the corridor, looking for survivors or someplace where he can assess the level of damage to the ship.

While he won't activate his life support at this point, he will put his life support mask in place for quick activation as needed, and then begins what he expects will be a fruitless check for comm signals.

"Yuftro to Engineering, please respond"
"Yuftro to Sickbay, please respond"
"Yuftro to nursikt Hospitality!, please respond..."

Until he receives a response, he'll leave his communicator open, seeking any transmission signal.

Yuftro finds that the ship's computer is down, and has taken the internal comm systems with it. The fact the internal comm systems are down is disturbing, as it means there's widespread systems damage. However, he does manage to get to the terminal at the entry to the crew area, and bring it up on emergency power. It can't connect to anything other than the most immediate areas, but the internal chron shows that about 6 hours have passed since the last time Yuftro looked at a chron, which means he and Genni were likely unconscious for 4-5 hours at least.

Something has gone horribly wrong, crew should have done a search for survivors at this point, although it was night shift, so most of the crew would have been in the crew area aft of Yuftro's and Jenni's room. Given the bulkhead drop, it's possible that more than two thirds of the crew may have died in a decompression incident, meaning that only the on duty crew would have been up, which would have been in engineering and on the bridge, and the night nurse in sick bay. Less than 8 people for over 50 passengers.

Note, because of all the metal inside the ship, comms systems only really talk to the local comm panel in whatever room they are in. Think of it as a bluetooth headset connecting to the local panel, and the ship relays the comms everywhere else. With the comm system down, personal radios and comms can't get more than 50 or 60 feet due to the metal framework of the ship.

"Most of the crew gone, unless they were suited at the time. Speaking of suits, mine is stupidly sitting in Engineering."

He plucks at his body sleeve, "This won't last much more than 10 minutes or so in hard vacuum, so aft is out. If anyone is alive back there, we have to trust them to take care of themselves."

He starts to move forward again, tuning magnetics in the boots to minimal as further gravitic disruptions seem unlikely, then stops and turns to Jenni, "I'm heading for sick bay, rattling any of the occupied cabins on the way just in case. The two crewmen begin working their way forward, stopping along the way to pick up six emergency balls. Along the way, they find no one alive. They do find a passenger, an elderly woman, floating in a cloud of blood, quite obviously dead, in an alcove. Her head has a corner shaped imprint in it that matches the metal table bolted to the floor, apparently she hit her head when the gravity spiked and bled out. The blood is dark now, having clotted in the air.

Moving on past the grisly sight, the duo turn the corner, almost to sick bay, when they come across some passengers in the hallway.

Malt, Glitch, Dev, Scandalous, and Tam are now all in the hallway outside Scandalous's suite

"Life Support Technician Omaltdoy'tsart Yuftro, at your service. Feel free to call me Malt. I am also a rated Pilot and Engineer should the need arise."

Malt looks at how everyone is arrayed in the hall, "mmm...It looks like only crewman Everson and I are trained in zero-g operations. Perhaps we should assist Scandalous in getting righted first, and then move as a group."

Imperial Human F32 (32) I 4A8AD4 (Current: 4A8AD4)

"Engineer, and he's right. We should move as a unit. It will make it much easier and safer for all of you. Name's Jenni, but my friends call me Glitch." She extends a hand to the others.

Welcome to all players.

Please make sure your alias is complete, and only DOT the gameplay thread for now. (And delete the post after making it, just so it shows up in your campaign thread)

We will work out connections in this thread before we start.

How connections work

To have a connection with another player, you must have an Event or Mishap in your Terms that match up. That means that you do not start with comparing your term 1 to their term 1, you compare your last term to their last term, and then work your way back.

Note that a connection does *not* necessarily mean you actually know that person. For example, if person (A) was in a notable military battle in their last term, and person (B) was wounded in combat in their last term, and the two are not in the same military, it is entirely possible they were on opposite sides during that conflict. So a connection but not a friendship.

For each connection you have, you may gain one skill at level 0, or raise an existing skill by 1. You cannot raise a skill above 3 using a connection. Each person can have two connections, which must be to different people. However, a single person may have multiple connections beyond two, to both the same person and to multiple people, they only gain the skill bonus for 2 of them, and the 2 must be to different people and different events. Mishaps count as events for connections.

Example, person (A) can have a connection via their notable military battle to (B), (C) and (E). They could have another connection to (C) and (E) via a pirate hunting event. However, they could only gain the skill bonus for a connection to (B) and (C), (B) and (E) or (C) and (E). They could not gain two skill bonuses for (C) across two events. Nor could they use the military battle for a connection bonus to both (B) and (C). Note they can still have the connections, they just don't get the skill bonus for them.

The skill bonus must be at least tangentially related to the connection. For example, a scholar connection over an award would not allow Gun Combat, unless the connection was to someone providing body guard services, who might have taught them to shoot, for example.

You do not have to synch connections that grant skills. That is, if (A) and (B) have 3 connections (Term 3, 4, and 5 for (A) and Term 2, 3, and 4 for (B), then (A) can use the connection for terms 3-2 for their skill bonus, and (B) can use the connection for 5-4 for their skill).

Bestbot/Darrian 8G5D76/8G5975

Is it still a connection if EAVE only obsessively follows a person's career? EAVE is HUGE fan. NUMBER ONE fan.

Bestbot/Darrian 8G5D76/8G5975

To make it easier:

Term 1: EAVE is recommissioned with the Darrian military and utilized for several short stints before vanishing. When she returned to base she had forgotten much of the last month. She was discharged.

Term 2: EAVE falls in with a rough crowd of robots, and manages to get by relatively well, scraping up new parts and serial numbers in an attempt to forge a new life for herself. She manages to get out safely.

Term 3: EAVE joins the Darrian Special Arms, having been used to store data for an agent. She is successful in the career, though likely what she did was clandestine at best.

Term 4: EAVE spends most of her time as a test subject, her build-a-block capable design allowing her to easily test new advances without major overhauls to her systems. She continues to go on missions, but again, they're clandestine at best.

I can only interact with other player's last four terms. :) (Unless you're a robot designer or worked in a warehouse or something. I think that might technically work. :P)

Scandalous connection should be easy for everyone. From listening to her music. to Transporting the data on boats throughout the Imperium. To corporate distribution. To the political intrigue it may have caused.

Aren't you a happy little bot? You've made my day. Would you like me to sign your hull?

Bestbot/Darrian 8G5D76/8G5975

No. Would just disappear anyway. SPACEPAINT helps EAVE hide.

Looking at your background, you fled Zhodani space, kinda. Where did you go initially?

Commonality Droyne - 396CCC[5]

So, Events for Malt:
Last Term: Participated in a Notable Military Engagement (this happens in the Vargr Extents, should it make a difference)

Second-to-Last Term: Participated in a Notable Military Engagement (also in the Vargr Extents)

Third-to-Last Term: Joined a gambling circle on board ship (lost big).

Fourth-to-Last Term: Given the opportunity to abuse my position for profit (did not do so).

Fifth-to-Last Term: Special assignment or duty on board ship. (Courier pilot between Vargr and Imperial space...this is likely the best option for connection to an Imperial character).

The Capitol. So many people pretending to be something they are not.

My friend Author says that Emperor Strephon had to table the reforms in psionic laws in the Strephonian Reforms. And that he might remove many obstacles for something that may normalize Psi powers among the commoners.

I'm looking to fill that need. And maybe show my people that all races and cultures have value and importance.

How will connections work for EAVE, given that EAVE has memory to worry about?

You'll have to store some skills off line and upload them to use them. That'll take a few actions to accomplish. Alternately, you do have 2 cpus and 2 personalities, each with their own memory core. You could split the skills by personality, rather than duplicate all of them (Combat to Major, repair to EAVE for example).

I've placed a TERM HISTORY MATRIX at the top of the campaign page to make it easier for everyone to work out potential connections.

Potential Connections :

Glitch & Malt : Jenny was on one of the ships Malt commanded in the punitive raid, a small destroyer escort ship that took sufficient damage to be evacuated before it blew up. Jenny and Malt never met, although Malt approved her medical compensation after the battle, due to her improper awakening.

Scandalous & Warren Connery : Warren made a breakthrough in his science field (depending on what he picks), while Scandalous received training in a specialist field. Warren could have done the training for Scandalous in exchange for additional funds for research, leading to his breakthrough.

Tam & Warren : Tam and Warren could have been part of the same research expedition, although they may not have met more than passing in a hallway. The ship suffered a fatal drive malfunction during the R&D testing. Tam came through the close call without injury, but Warren was exposed to vacuum and almost died.

Dev & Tam/Dev & Warren : Despite being a merchant, Dev got pulled into a high stakes research endeavor, bringing supplies and parts to the research station. When the drive test went awry, Dev was able to help by picking up survivors onto his merchant ship (May or may not have actually met Tam or Warren, there were a lot of survivors and several rescue ships).

Dev & Glitch : Both could have been involved in the diplomatic mission to the Religious Zealot's homeworld, on different ships (scouts vs navy). May not have met, but common background.

Malt & Tam & Warren & EAVE : Malt was approached about smuggling contraband from Darrian space. Malt refused and turned in the people who approached him, shutting down the Imperial side of the smuggling operation. Malt's actions resulted in intel going to Special Arm, allowing Tam to foil and shut down the Darrian side. Warren was part of his corporations team who was trying to smuggle Darrian tech into the Imperium for research. The attempt failed, with Warren one of the few people who didn't get caught by either side. EAVE was involved in shutting down and capturing the Darrian side.

Tam & EAVE : Tam was betrayed by a friend, but the betrayal revealed that former friend had been using a Darrian Military AI for nefarious purposes. Tam forwarded the information to the top brass, who retrieved the AI and rehabilitated it.

Dev & EAVE : Dev backstabbed a fellow crook, who was in the process of setting up some bots who he had worked with, in the intention of getting a major bounty for a dozen rogue AI's. Since the crook got killed by his superiors before he could betray the AI's, the assault he planned on the Robo-factory went off without a hitch.

Dev & EAVE : Dev was involved in some smuggling of Darrian tech on his first job as a criminal. He didn't do much, but got a big payday. The Darrian who was working with his syndicate had a snazzy bot named Major (EAVE).

Dev & Scandalous : Dev, as a Merchant, was hauling a load of cargo back from Zhodani space, and his ship was contracted to haul a Singing Sensation back. He ended up getting involved in her tour for a bit as the ship's crew ended up being hired to haul her around Imperial Space.

NOTE : Some of these are mutually exclusive (IE: If you have them for one person, it negates the ability to have it for another person).

HP: 27/27 | AC: 21, Touch: 12, FF: 19 | Fort: +4, Ref: +5, Wil: +11 | CMB: +1 CMD: 13 | Perception +10(12) | Initiative: +6

These sound perfectly acceptable

edit:The possible skill training can be any I currently possess.

The training would have been in what you gained for that training session. (Look at your term). That means Warren would need to have that skill at at least 1 to train you, so it might not work out.

You'll also have to get the other two (Dev an Warren) to agree to the connections.

Once that occurs, you can either pick two skills that are new that fit those events, or increase existing skills by 1 if they fit those events.

The training was for current skills, an upgrade, which I failed to get

LOL, in that case, if Warren agrees, then you'd have washed out of his training, but he still got paid. :)

That's all but impossible, because there's lots of skills you could pick up. And each character could get different skills from the same connection. I can give a list of all skills if it's needed, to help, but it's really up to the players imaginations (and ability to sell odd connections/skill combos).

Some clean up that needs to be done :

@Tam - Your Melee (Blade) and Melee (Unarmed) are redundant. You gain Melee (Unarmed) at 0 from having Melee (Blade) 2. You should either combine Melee (Unarmed) & Melee (Blade) to Melee (Blade) 3, or you should gain a Melee (Unarmed) from your connections so you can have Melee (Unarmed) 1.

@Malt - Same skill issue around Pilot (Small Craft) and Pilot (Spacecraft). Either combine them into Pilot (Spacecraft) 2, or use a connection to raise Pilot (Small Craft) to 1.

Darrian 7C7BE5

Raised Melee (Blade) to 3.

Darrian 7C7BE5

Proposed connections:

Eave

Malt & Tam & Warren & EAVE : Malt was approached about smuggling contraband from Darrian space. Malt refused and turned in the people who approached him, shutting down the Imperial side of the smuggling operation. Malt's actions resulted in intel going to Special Arm, allowing Tam to foil and shut down the Darrian side. Warren was part of his corporations team who was trying to smuggle Darrian tech into the Imperium for research. The attempt failed, with Warren one of the few people who didn't get caught by either side. EAVE was involved in shutting down and capturing the Darrian side.

Eave and Tamm worked as part of the same team (partners?) in stopping the Darrian Tech smugglers. They lost contact with each other after this operation.

Skill Increase: Stealth to 2 for all the sneaking around Tam did.

--------------------------------------------

Warren

Tam & Warren : Tam and Warren could have been part of the same research expedition, although they may not have met more than passing in a hallway. The ship suffered a fatal drive malfunction during the R&D testing. Tam came through the close call without injury, but Warren was exposed to vacuum and almost died.

Tam and Warren would recognize each other from the time spent on this assignment although they did not develop a lasting friendship.

Skill Increase: Vacc Suit to 1. Tam spent a lot of time working on the outside of research facility helping to keep it in running order.

==============================================================

Eave and Warren what do think?

Dice Rolls added to the campaign tab.

House Rules added to campaign tab.

Bestbot/Darrian 8G5D76/8G5975

EAVE accepts Tam's tie-in. EAVE did not learn more sneaking, as EAVE is already MASTER-OF-SNEAKING! (Rank 0. Cough.) INSTEAD, Tam learned that a perfectly valid way to shut EAVE up was to distract her with knife tricks. EAVE picked up a lot of nifty tricks for turning someone's entrails into extrails, and making the blade pretty while doing it. (Blades to Rank 2, and thus Unarmed 0 for free) is this acceptable?

EAVE also accepts that Tam was responsible for EAVE's recall. But insists that she was a secret agent the whole time. Tam may never know that this was the result of her earlier action. When not talking to others. Then it's [REDACTED] or [CLASSIFIED].

In relation to Dev: EAVE was not known as The Major back then. EAVE was simply REAVER unit 626! EAVE did not take own name until ROBOGANG. RR-626 was EAVE's thug life persona.

Do you have any ideas for a connection that ties us in better than just happening to pass each other by?

There's also the opportunity to have been involved in the Diplomatic Mission for Glitch. EAVE may have been utilizing a prototype emotion analyzer around that time, and thus was allowed to be a 'frou frou' pet for a Darrian dignitary of some sort!

Just to note, this not being a normal Traveller start to the campaign, it's probably better if your ties are very loose and people don't know each other as well as normal. It would seem odd if everyone who survived knew everyone else.

Bestbot/Darrian 8G5D76/8G5975

No. EAVE shall be the uniter of all. EAVE planted the doubtseed within the Zhodani that would one day bear the fruit that is 'SCANDALOUS'. She was paramount in the initial diplomatic mission's success for Glitch. She orchestrated the big score for Dev Vorn. She replaced Malt's Coyns with loaded Coyns that would fall as EAVE desired. EAVE was the puppetmaster behind Tam's friend who betrayed her, and EAVE left the mess in Warren Connery's lab that grew into super-penicillin.

EAVE has been guiding each and every life up until this very moment, for this very purpose.

Who is crew and who are passengers?

Dev & Scandalous : Dev, as a Merchant, was hauling a load of cargo back from Zhodani space, and his ship was contracted to haul a Singing Sensation back. He ended up getting involved in her tour for a bit as the ship's crew ended up being hired to haul her around Imperial Space.

This could be used for any crew, couldn't it?

Dev Vorn - 9769B5 - Captain - Alell (Regina Subsector, Spinward Marches 1706)- Character Pic

Dev & Scandalous: being on the ship that was hired by Scandalous could work. As a lowly mechanic he would probably not even be noticed by her, but he would most likely remember her (either good or bad...depends how she acted on-board)

Dev and Glitch: With my enemy as this religious nut, maybe he and Glitch could have been in the same area. As the "Star Bishop", as I call him, tried to ambush my ship, I think maybe once I was away, the Imperium sent Glitch to be part of the ambassadorial team. Maybe she even needed to talk to Dev to get his side of the story...

Was thinking of taking Broker +1 and Pilot +1 as my two connection skills.

HP: 27/27 | AC: 21, Touch: 12, FF: 19 | Fort: +4, Ref: +5, Wil: +11 | CMB: +1 CMD: 13 | Perception +10(12) | Initiative: +6

I'm thinking that Dev would be a sexual outlet for Scandalous during their time together. A dangerous criminal out of prison sex is so hot. He certainly not the type to get all clingy, which would be something she would like at that time :P

Commonality Droyne - 396CCC[5]

The Malt & Glitch connection (Jenny was on one of the ships Malt commanded in the punitive raid, a small destroyer escort ship that took sufficient damage to be evacuated before it blew up. Jenny and Malt never met, although Malt approved her medical compensation after the battle, due to her improper awakening.) makes a fair amount of sense to me.

I have an alternate suggestion for Dev & Malt:
12 years ago, Dev Vorn is found on the edge of known space with a chunk missing from his memory. If 'the edge of known space' is the Vargr Extents in this case, he could have easily interacted with Malt, in the next term, when Malt is involved in repulsing a raid by Vargr Corsairs and Dev gets 'tangled up in something completely unrelated to being a Merchant.'

@ Malt: That actually sounds good. Lets go with that, and maybe you have a few clues as to what actually happened during Dev's "lost time". I will add this connection to my character then.

@Scandalous: His criminal career was well over by the time you two would have met, and he really does not go out of his way to talk about the "Bad old Days" of his youth.

@Glitch: If you are good with the connection I was suggesting, then I will add it to my character.

Adding Pilot (Spacecraft)+1 for this connection.

Sadly, EAVE can't make a connection to Scandalous. Scandalous is too young for EAVE's illustrious career. She has made one with Tam.

Everyone is currently on the ship, (except EAVE), but you can't make connections to everyone from the ship, it has to have been in the past. It is a bit harder with 2 terms, especially with your terms having little or no bearing on the other's terms (Being in Zhodani space makes it harder!). If you can't form a second connection, it's not that big a deal. You'll have opportunity to get a +1 in skills relatively soon.
