Well, we would still get partial credit, Tyrion, so not TOTALLY wasted, but yes, I agree with you.
Markavious and Merisiel don't seem to have interest in continuing, necessarily.
Depending on what Jory and Volkard weigh in with (we still need at least 3 PCs to keep playing), here's my proposal:
-I'll post in recruitment asking for a GM, explaining we're probably pretty close to being done and that I would purchase the scenario for the GM, who gets the benefit of full credit for running just part of a scenario;
-If we get no takers, I'll buy the scenario and GM it out myself, if Tyrion, Jory, and Volkard all wish to continue (and/or if Merisiel or Markavious decide to stick it out).
-If none of those options pan out, I'll just notify the VC we are calling it and that we need partial credit Chronicle Sheets assigned.

No worries, Volkard. I can toss four bucks at the PDF. :P Will just see if Jory wants to finish it, so I can know if we have a table of at least three not counting me.
I have one or two people I will ask before opening it up to the recruitment thread. Was still hoping to hear from Jory, but we don't need him absolutely if you guys are both still around.
Okay guys, fairly sure I found someone to finish running it for us. He will look over the scenario, etc. And I will ping Jory to see if he wants to stay it out.
I was asked if I could save your PCs from 'languishing'. If you don't mind waiting for a bit (not as long as you already have), my plan is to:
Pick up the scenario's PDF.
Read It.
Read your posts in both discussion and gameplay.
Prep whatever is left.
Then resume your game.
I'm going to go ahead and start going through the list; although if anyone isn't on board, I don't have to follow through the whole thing. I'm sure the reading itself will be entertaining!. We can also address any questions. :)
I picked up the scenario. Normally at work I'd have time to read it while I do other things, but today is physical activities in other locations stuff... so I'll try and get through it tonight. I expect that Monday or Tuesday, I should be 'ready'.
I couldn't help myself; I am now caught up with where you guys are at.
I have also sent in an email asking to inherit the game.
Items of conversation:
I don't know if I can alter the Map used by SkipperD.
I will figure out how to make a similar map for any possible remaining encounters. Unless everyone here is equipped with a Roll20 account, or someone has another useful map suggestion?
Holy crap you guys destroyed that remorhaz! Well done.
Just an item of note: I was taking notes on what everyone's appearance was through both in-game text and the character profile for self-imaging purposes... and some of you don't have one. (No names). I just thought that was interesting.
Tomorrow proposes to be a busy day, but I'll get back on this prep-scene soon.

-You can't edit posts more than an hour old.
-Woo, inheritance!
-Nah, you won't be able to alter his map, that is linked to his Google drive. You can make your own maps though (and you can change the link of the map to link to your map). If you want or need any help making maps, hit me up in PM. I have Roll20, but don't know about everyone else-- for quick maps, Google drawings/drive is often easier.
I have inherited the campaign and have posted a new map on the link. It might take me a few tries to get it right, so let me know if it doesn't work or is amiss.
I'd like everyone to place their "mini" (as it were) in the square that they would like to be in.
I'm still working on things, but there's no reason we can't start getting the game moving again. =)

As a heads-up, I'll be at Pacificon this weekend, the 29th through the 1st. I will try and check the boards each night and make sure I'm not missing something super important, but posting will be minimal. GMPC my character if necessary.
(Then again, I know Onelung is gonna be there with me, so.....)

Wow...I missed so much...
Listen, I haven't done jack squat since we started. I think now is a good time for this.
I feel like I should leave. Due to my schedule, I rarely have time to post, so when 10 different things happen and I just stood there and look iconic, it isn't all that fun.
You didn't really miss that much? It's been less than a minute of elapsed game time since we resumed, so there's plenty of time to throw in with actions if you like. If you're feeling generally frustrated or like you're not clicking or just don't plain have the time, I won't pressure you to stay, of course-- no point in playing something if you're not having fun-- but really, nobody's upset that you hadn't posted, I don't think.
Anyway, good luck whatever you decide to do. Do you still want a chronicle sheet for the adventure with partial credit?

Our new GM has convinced me to stay.
I guess I was just impatient and wanting to slow things down. Things haven't been going my way in a lot of things, and I thought a new game would help me cope.
I'll stick through it. I was just wondering if I could attempt to disable the trap on the slab. If it's magical, I can still disable it due to Trapfinding.
Real-Life Scenario for a trap going off without a Disable Attempt.
GM: "Yep, it's trapped."
Me: "Ok, no one open that thing. I'll try to disable it after I get back." *goes to the restroom*
Moments later:
*Earth Elementals open coffin and take con drain*
Me: *returns from the restroom* "What did I miss? Wait, who opened that thing!? I was going to Disable it!"

Sound like a plan? Perhaps?
I apologize for stealing the rogues thunder. I had forgotten we had you. My bad. 8(
The coming three weeks I will be traveling as part of a vacation (will tell where afterwards). Suffice to say my posting rate might slow down a little as I will only have my mobile with me and I thus can't do level up stuff very well. I will stay in motels which often have free wifi so to the best of my ability I will try not to hold people back, but please do not be afraid to gmpc me. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Cheers.
For the purposes of spell levels, caster levels don't stack. You're casting fireball/acidball as a Level 8 wizard. [Unless Markavious is actually level 10?]
Not that removing 1d6+2 is going to mean much in this instance, but it's something you should probably be aware of.
IE: If you're casting your admixture fireball/acidball as an 8th level wizard, you're getting Lvl8 Wizard+Varisian Tatoo+Spell Specialization = 11d6.
If you can find a way to add 2 more CL to your spell, you could get up to 13D6 though. =)
I'd also advise you to be wary of table variation on using your sorcerer's bloodline on spells cast as another caster level.Apparently there's a FAQ for this somewhere. Sweet.
[Trait: Magical Knack for your wizard class would raise your CL by two, but since you're only missing one level of wizard, it only benefits you for one CL]
I've been wanting to take a stab at GMing a PbP game for a while now, so here we go.
I'm looking for six players who'll dare to climb to the highest regions of the Fog Peaks in search of ancient knowledge...
My only true problem is I don't have any access to character creation software, even freeware or browser stuff is kinda off limits for me. I hope that doesn't keep me from playing though.
From what I'm seeing in your small starting post and the title of the adventure, I'd think a Ranger would be a good start.
My first question, though, is what kind of build requirements/restrictions are we given? What if I want to play a Big Game Hunter? That should get your GM gears spinning.
What about sources? I don't have access to 3rd party stuff, otherwise I'd request using a race from Louis-Porter Design.
This a PFS game, so you'll need a PFS legal character. If you don't have a character in the level range, you can play a pregen instead (in this case a level 7 one). The pregens can be found here. More information about PFS can be found here and here.

Only guy I have at that level that is PFS I don't have the character sheet to. I'd gladly take a Pregen. It might take me a bit to get set up due to some restrictions on the computers I work with, but I'd love to get involved.
If you think it would be too much trouble to get me involved, I understand. Just let me know
I think I'm gonna go with the iconic Rogue, Merisil. My first PFS character was a rogue and even though I lost the character sheet for him long ago, and been hearing the call of the shadows for a while.
All my in-tier characters are otherwise involved...but I'll play a pregen to help get this game off the ground; assuming having two pregens wouldn't be too much of a detriment to success.
Yeah, I was considering a frontliner too, but on the whole I think the ability to heal damage (and other effects) may be more useful than the ability to soak damage.
If you y'all really want the front-liner, I can bring Conan O'Brien. Or, heck, even though the summoner is Level 5, the eidolon has a higher AC than the bard-barian, haha.
You guys choose, I'm happy playing whoever.
eta I just looked at your sheet, Tyrion-- AC 26? :P YOU are our frontliner.
Ooochhh... regardless of which I bring, I kinda vote against playing up. A level 5 wizard's gonna be kinda squishy against the sort of threats we're likely to run into at an 8-9 table, I think. It sucks when one solid hit wipes out a lower-level character at the table.
Still leaning towards my cleric, honestly, but again, I defer to the party at large.
I am a big fan of playing up, but we can go tier 5-6.
Jory usually is out front to scout. Hopefully we have some haste to speed us up. I have a wand of mage armor--feel free to use it for everyone.
Well, I'd like to hear from Volkard as the other one of the lowest level PCs, to know if he's comfortable bringing his level 5 into a 8-9 game.
Keep in mind we'd be an 8-9 table with the strongest healing source being wands/Tyrion's CMW, since I'd have to be playing my bard-barian to pull off the 8-9.
If it helps your decision making, I can say that most of the combats are cakewalks, but there is one potentially hard one. Oh, and ranks in Handle Animal might be useful as well.
LOL, I think all my peeps are fairly mediocre at HA, alas. Even my nature-y ones.
Nah, in all seriousness, I'll wait for Volkard to weigh in, as I said. If he says he's down with playing up, then I may bring my witch. If he says he's not, then it'll be the cleric, most likely.
