I submit Annurian here with my rolls :) he's a Human Rogue (Gestalt with Brawler) and a young troublemaker.


So focus/foible you can allocate stats where you want them? Or do you roll them straight down after choosing your Focus and Foible?

Assuming it's the latter, I'll stick my 18 in INT and my 8 in CHA, going for something arcane.

Backstory:
Little is known about her origins. Nuandis was brought to Kassen by her father, a legendarily handsome man rumored to live with a pack of nymphs. He left Nuandis with the town elder, claiming that life in his secluded cloister was no life for her. He wanted to stay there in Kassen and raise her himself, but the fey creatures had too great a hold on him.

Nuandis herself took after him in guise, an unfathomable beauty to behold with fair skin and rich earthy eyes; the elder became inundated with potential suitors for her near her coming-of-age. One would assume a father would worry for his daughter, but he feared more for the suitors! His adopted daughter was even more devious than she was beautiful, knowing how to get everything she wanted from those foolish enough to give her attention and affection; many a boys heart did she break during her formal schooling. He didn't love her any less for it though, he just knew what she was capable of.

From a complete strangers perspective, Nuandis might seem affluently spoiled, conceited, selfish and narcissistic. In truth, she is those things, but those who converse with her for but a day mysteriously ignore those qualities. But, Nuandis is also charming and unrealistically persuasive. When her own needs are satisfied, she still does care for the physical well being of others and is capable of forming loving relationships.

storytime:
Wren is a Glasswright, and like her parents the crafting of art is in her blood. Elven blood, true, but her business does well enough among the humans that they've almost forgotten that. She had a relatively normal upbringing in Kyonin, and served her time with the guard, and even spent some time traveling with her mother's traders. She's learned to value the quiet times when they come, and not be too curious about history or rumors if she wants a quiet evening a warm meal and a calm song. It's been several years now since something shook the young elf out of her easygoing tradework, and perhaps that's why she opened the rowanchest and cleaned up her old leathers this morning. Some premonition, or just the tickling of a memory she can't quite remember. She even tucked the book into her vest, and it's been years since she carried it. In any case, her neighbors are surprised to see her in the colors, even if she has tucked her normal apron over the top. It's a day to clean the forge she explains, and some of them even believe her.

I left the story a bit vague on places because I couldn't find a player's guide with a location for the module. If there's a local town I can backfill, but I didn't want to spoil anything so it's a bit vague at the moment.


Well now this looks like a fun spot for Goldi...

will have to make some adjustments though but lets start with the story first... Crunch isn't as important right now.

Don't think it was a troll recruit. He was very eager to get involved in the game Edward Sobel mentioned.

He mentioned Thursday he was busy with some work and had gotten sick, but then disappeared again afterwords.

Th GM for this was just removed from his only other active game (GM Snowe is the GM for that)

I feel that this will be a dead recruitment...


I am sorry for the long absence from the boards. My 23 year old sister died on the 8th and it took several days to get her body due to an autopsy. It then took us three days for the funeral and my mother has been a little fragile. She is not well having suffered numerous strokes, heart attacks, seizures, and blackouts I have been spending a lot more time with her lately. The death was sudden, she was up and about talking about a headache at 2 am and gone by 1 pm, she suffered seizures in her sleep.. but we are not sure what the cause was.

Because of this I was not feeling getting online or posting. So I do apologize for the delay I should have stopped in and explained but I was not thinking about that at the time.

Before the 8th my work had been working a lot more shifts because two co-workers decided to take their vacations at the same time.

Charles do you have a spoiler tab post, or is the profile in the alias? Because this is a Gestalt and I only saw 1 class, unless I missed something.

looking at the other characters, I felt Charles is a bit redundant. Melee and bard (buff) are covered. I'll throw together a different alias and post (tomorrow probably).

I'm leaning towards an Archer. I've pretty flexible though, so if any of the other have any specific role concerns with the party, speak up.

Of the cuff, expect a human fighter/arcanist with the fighter side being Archery focused. Maybe venturing into Arcane Archer eventually.
