What's the hook/ adventure/ concept?
It seems that an old hero, who died and was reborn by the efforts of numerous clerics, never truly escaped Hell. The dark denizens lurking there escaped the fires and found themselves on a mortal plane of existence. They captured a once grand city and took it as their home, the tormented old hero going with them. Weather by his power he went, or if the demons dragged him with them is unclear.
As experienced heros yourselves you have been called upon by the local authorities of a small town you where in at the time, to infiltrate the city and scout it out, down to the last brick if needed. You where told you could use any means at your disposal to gain access.
What will you do to free this place?
Presenting Quimby Cross, his background will need to be changed once some details are given about the campaign.. Thanks..
Adjusting some stuff with that information.. You mentioned Hell, where Devils live, as well as Demons.. Which is it? Because thats crazy if demons are dragging people to hell lol..
I present Filios, Male Elf Rogue (Swashbuckler) for your consideration.
Connor, what ever happened to the pirate campaign you were running? You stopped updating and eventually just closed the thread.
Sorry for the poor word choice, Quimby. That'd be devils, though you're not actually going to Hell at any point in the game.
Twilsemail:There wasn't enough activity for me to want to keep running things. People stopped posting, so that's why I closed the pirate campaign. When I stop posting for a few days i'm giving people time to role play and update characters.
Filios: You're locked in.
So far it's:
Quimby Cross - Bard
Filios - Rogue
There's three party member spots left open.
Dotting for interest. My halfling oracle is level 3, I rolled him up for a Forgotten Realms campaign that I didn't get accepted for. Check him out, tell me what you think, and I can change the backstory to fit your campaign.
It'll work. If you change the background it should be fine. You're locked in.
I would like to have Muteki Odo Yoshima (Shima for short) be considered.
Shima is a Paladin of Shizuru, the Eternal Goddess and seeks to spread Honor, Order and Glory throughout the world. While cleaving the skulls of a few demons.
Gear is a Katana and Kiko Armor, plus supplies etc.
Nice. I like your quick decisions, Connor. It bodes well for your posting speed in the campaign, which is always excellent.
I'll have my backstory updated in my profile soon. Check it when you read this.
So far it's:
Quimby Cross - Bard
Filios - Rogue
Shima - Paladin
Terry L. - Oracle
I'll leave the thread up to see if we can get one more person in on this, but i'm planing in starting off the actual thing Saturday night. (And thanks for the positive feedback, Terry. I hope you enjoy playing.)
Here...here Terry! I agree - looking forward to Saturday!
We're going to be a charming Lot
Are there any plans for more adventure after this one? Or will the characters just get retired as soon as its over?
Im thinking of doing a Barbarian, try to lower the Average Charisma of the group :)
I don't have plans for a second adventure, but I suppose we'll see when the time comes.
Post a barbarian! We need an ugly party member that we can make fun of. From a safe distance. And while invisible.
Since we have to wait for one more character I am going to postpone the start of the campaign until it is made, deadline being Monday night.
I'd like to submit Calin Proudkin, Halfling Sorcerer
Name: Arduino the Lesser
Race: Human
Alignment: Lazy Good (NG)
Class: Sorcerer (Sylvan Bloodline
Background and Personality: In profile
Character sheet: Can be easily whipped up after acceptance.
I really don't like parties of 7. Everything gets too off track with that many people, so sorry you two, but maybe next time. I'll pm you if there end up being open party slots throughout the campaign. In the meantime, Anthony Krast has 1 more day to post his new character.
Right then. I'll be here at the tavern if you need me. And now, perhaps another pint...
Any idea when this getting kicked off GM?
*refresh refresh refresh refresh*

The nice thing about large groups though, is the game runs more consistantly and continues after the initial wave of lost players. And it is so much easier to have large groups on pbp then around a table too, if one doesn't insist on turn order anyway.
star lyght is a strix ninja hes willing to join ur party
What gives? Is this one moving forward?
No idea. No word from the GM. :(
Sorry for the gap guys. I couldn't even meet my own deadline. I've been way to busy lately, and should stay that way until Monday night. I don't even feel comfortable starting the campaign until Monday. Sorry for the extra long wait, but this gives you guys to make final adjustments if you need to.
A quick question, are we supposed to have only 200gp of stuff, or 3rd level wbl+200?
Quimby, have you ever read/watched Berserk? Because your character kind of reminds me of Griffith. It's very cool, I like it.
Never seen that.. But thanks, the build seems like ti will be fun.. Ill need to update my gear..
Monday has come and gone. What's up Connor?
Dropping out of consideration. This is ridiculous.
Once again, sorry for the non-punctuality. My personal life is getting in the way of being able to hold to a certain date, and I am still unprepared to run something that turns out to be much harder to come up with ideas for than originally anticipated. Henceforth, to spare you all boredom and anger, I am closing down this campaign before it starts. Thank you for your understanding.
