GameMastery Module D0: Hollow's Last Hope (OGL) PDF
Paizo Publishing, LLC
A dungeon adventure for 1st-level characters.
The town of Falcon's Hollow needs a miracle.
The plague has come to the town of Falcon's Hollow, and not even the town's priest can abate its wretched course. With the coughs of the sick and the wails of the dying echoing through town, the local herbalist uncovers a cure, but she needs some brave heroes to retrieve the ingredients. Finding the cure means risking the dangerous Darkmoon Vale, infiltrating a witch's haunted hut, and delving the ruins of an abandoned dwarven monastery.
Hollow's Last Hope is a wilderness exploration and dungeon adventure for 1st-level characters, compatible with the world's most popular fantasy roleplaying game. This sixteen-page adventure includes details on the haunted forest and deadly ruins that hide the key ingredients to the town's salvation. Do your heroes have the skill and courage to find the cure in time?
This adventure can also be run as a prelude to GameMastery Module D1: Crown of the Kobold King.

I used this adventure with my group to try out the Pathfinder system and it went extremely well. For a free adventure, it was a lot of fun.
The party almost died 3 times because we didn't have any healing spells but that just made it all the more fun.
Great job and 5 stars!
Ran this on my group and we had a blast. Great start for introducing the characters to Falcon's Hollow and its surrounding areas.
I wanted to get my feet wet DMing and give our awesome DM a chance to play for once, so I thought I'd try Hollow's Last Hope. It was a great success! Not only is the adventure brilliant, the mechanics and gameplay are easy for someone new to running a game.
this adventure Rawks! me and me group of newbies (I'm the only expirienced one) are having the greatst time in our lives with it. recomanded- it's more than a thousand times worth the price!
If this is an example of the quality that Pathfinder puts into it's modules then we're all going to be very happy. The adventure was laid out in a logical manner with a fair amount of background information, suggested dialog, well explained plot points, and so on. The maps were easy to understand and well referenced in the text. The text itself is easy to read as a linear story without a lot of jumping back and forth that a lot of modules seem to require. As I read and studied the module to prepare for play I was consistently impressed with the quality of the product. I have a new group of players who've never played before. I'll be using this module to introduce them to the Pathfinder system.
Also, be sure to check out module D1 which builds on this free module. Then there's module D1.5 which is another FREE module that is the sequel to D1. So for the price of a single module you can pick up D0, D1, and D1.5 to give your players 4 or 5 levels of play for the price of a single module.
It was one of the days when I wished that somebody else was Gamemastering our local group. I was on a Thursday evening. The coming Saturday I was supposed to meet with my friends for a friendly D&D evening. Only I did not have an adventure ready for them. My working schedule prevented me from designing myself. Searching through the word wide net for any ideas I stumbled across D0 Hollow's Last Hope. I liked the Cover but was skeptical about the story. After all, what can one expect from a free module offered by the company who's job normally is to sell such things. And it only consisted of 16 pages. Well, it was better then showing up with nothing, and 16 pages where quick to read.
Actually I had to read it twice, because I could not believe that what I held in my hands was that good, especially since it was a free of charge product.
Hollow's Last Hope is one of the best Adventure Mods that I have had the pleasure reading and running. I immediately ordered the follow up Mod D1 Crown of the Kobold King and D1.5Revenge of the Kobold King. My players loved it and hated me at the same time, because the story was full of surprises (having that little bas.... Merlokrep return as Zombie to further harass the PCs when they just enjoyed their new fame as the local Heroes, came as a big surprise to them.
Never since GW surprised the Gaming Community of WHFRP with their High Quality Campaigns have I experienced story line so well developed.
This is a must or any one who enjoys well made NPCs, great story lines and surprises for their Players. I highly recommend to read all 3 Mods (D0, D1, D1.5)and then playing them in sequence. They can be played as stand alone, or as go in betweens in a running campaign, but if you dont play them in sequence you and your players will miss a lot of the fun and surprises that work so well if they are in sequence.
Hollow's last Hope is the one that got me hooked on Paizo's Product Line, and I have not regretted it since.
Very nicely done! Evocative artwork, well-organized, nice variety of encounters, and able to play to completion in one night of gaming! This is a great introduction to GameMastery modules!
This is a very good module to introduce players from other game products to the Pathfinder setting. It is not to difficult but still a great way to bring together a new group of PC's and Dark Moon vale as the backdrop is perfect. It isn't too difficult for new players to grasp either. It gives the Pathfinder flavor without being as tough or as deep as the Pathfinder modules such as the ongoing series of Curse of the Crimson throne. It is allowing me to introduce my fellow D&D players to Pathfinder in a way that allows me to really showcase the world of Golarion. And since I will DM some semi-newbies it is perfect. I plan to connect it with Revenge off the Kobold King and the Haunted Forest modules as well to make a great, but fairly easy learning campaign. That way they will not be to overwhelmed with the varying alignment differences of Pathfinder (which I find much more realistic) when we move to Curse of the Crimson Throne.
My table loved this adventure! They are all hyped about playing D1 next. The encounters at the Witch’s Hut and the Eldest Tree were unique and fun! Thank you for a great adventure!!!
A great intro to a fascinating world. The encounters are thought provoking and the villains suitably villainous. The book layout is beautiful and the paper quality is top notch. Well worth the five bucks for the print version.

On a quick note, the copy I downloaded through the "My Downloads" link had a few pages flipped. The back cover shows up a few pages early in the middle of a stat block (if I'm remembering correctly).

Nope. Recently tried all sorts of combinations on ebay.
It'll turn up. I'm going to look around at GenCon for it.
