Is there somewhere a comprehensive list of (former) mysteries of the Golarion setting that have already been revealed? Mysteries that used to be mysteries but that are mysteries no more because they have been explored in a AP or in a Campaign Setting sourcebook?
For example, the Aucturn mystery. It had been taunted for many years and we got a revelation in the Pathfinder Playtest adventure.
I’m trying to come up with a list of mysteries for my PCs to explore, and I’d like to stick to the ones that have already been revealed.
I’m trying to figure out which demon lord or god or archdevil hates children the most.
I’m trying ro create an adventure where the mothers are actively trying to damage children, mostly psychologically
Who would these mothers worship? Who is the demon lord / devil / god of bad parenthood? Of mothers who are emotionally blackmailing their children?
I was thinking Mestama, or Gyronna. Is there a better fit?
On page 39 of the sourcebook "Guide to Korvosa" they mention the "Apostate Rebellion".
I can't find any other reference to this, so I have no idea what they're talking about. Is this event known by some other name?
I could figure out that it had to do with Cheliax; is it maybe another name for the Thrune Rebellion (or how is it called?)
When I received this order, I noticed that it came in three separate packages. I checked the order status, and indeed it shows three different charges for three different packages.
Usually my subscription is shipped in one package. Did I incur in some extra charges because of this? Would it have been cheaper if it was shipped in only one package? Can you please double check?
I noticed that in a recent Pathfinder Friday twitch stream you mentioned that you are in charge for the first AP for the second edition.
I know that you can’t yet divulge any information about that, but I hope you can answer to this very broad question,
Is there a Pathfinder 1e Campaign Setting already published that matches the contents of what will be the first 2e AP? An example would be “Andoran, Birthplace of Freedom” if the AP was to be set in Andoran.
I’m not expecting any names, just a yes or not to scratch my itch!
But in May don’t they announce the AP for the NEXT year? Or was it for the current year?
For some reason, I was expecting the name of the AP in Gencon this year. I think I recall a pattern of announcing the August AP for the following year in Gencon. But I might well be wrong :)

For the future, is it better if I post in the forum instead of sending an email?
Also, is there a way for me to manually sidecart my subscription so I don’t have to disturb you?
Great job playing the barbarian btw. :)
I have sent you two emails regarding order 5307660, but there have been no answer. So that order shipped even if it was supposed to be put on hold, putting me in quite a pickle.
Now a new order confirmation has arrived, regarding 7457097. This order needs to be shipped with the October subscription, as I cannot be charged twice in a month on the same credit card.
Please take a look at my former emails, and answer to them.
Please do not delay to put on hold Order # 7457097 and ship it next month.
I’m curious to hear your guess about what will be the first AP for PF2. This is mine: Crimson Throne meets Kingmaker.
1) Am I allowed to post online fan fiction short stories featuring Paizo IP, like the iconics or Golarion deities? Of course this is non-commercial, no money will come to me.
2) Am I allowed to post online fan fiction using the new Pathfinder Playtest engine but original content? For example, knowing that now we have three action I migh write : “Furio the Barbarian thought what to do, knowing that he had only a limited amount of time to act. He choose to move fast towards his enemy and attack [this would be sudden charge]. After this, he still had time left to draw a javelin [his third action].
Thanks in advance!
That's not the point. My idea is that the PCs are taking the test of the Starstone, and the Gods decided that they need to go through a series of adventure. Basically, they can choose any published module by paizo and play it, and I want it not to be in any particular order. So they can tackle for example an adventure at level 5, then another at level 14, then another at level 2 and so on. The idea is that every time they can succeed only with preset gears and so on, basically only what is on a specific level on the character sheet for every iconic.
So, I have the need of having every stats and gears from 1 to 20 for a PC class and not for a NPC class.
So, is there anything like this online?
Hi guys! I am starting a campaign where I would like my players to use only the Pathfinder iconics.
I know that in the NPC Codex there are stats for level 1, 7 and 12.
But I would like to have also stats all the other levels, without the hassle and the need to level them up. Is there anything like that? So as soon as a character gains a level, I can just hand out the next character sheet.
If there is not anything like this online, do you have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your time!
I noticed that recently Amazon allows to write fan fiction of copyrighted material, and a fee is paid to the original copyright owner. "The vampire diaries" is an example. I believe it is called "Kindle worlds". Is there any chance we might see this happening for Pathfinder and/or Golarion? (Sorry for my bad English, I am not a native speaker!)

Hi! Not really. He does not care very much about weapons. He just wants to be able to create, for example, a rope out of a sturdy leaves or a makeshift torch out of a essicated mushroom. Or ink out of the juice of a tree.
One of my player would like to have a Craft skills that allows him to create emergency improvised gadgets like McGyver did. For example: sharps sticks for weapons, small items like spoons or containers or makeshift ladders/bridges.
One of my player (Juho from Finland) made a drawing of the amulet! This one shows the three parts of the amulet joined together. You can cut it into three pieces and present them to the players when they find them! I thought I'd share it with you, since I think it's really cool!
I am not so sure!!! Check the description of a light shield. It says: "a light shield’s weight lets you carry other items in that hand, although you cannot use weapons with it". It seems like an item is not the same thing than a weapon. What do you think?
My player's character is a barbarian, using a greatsword. He also purchased 2 cestus (cesti?) and he is wearing them. Can he be wearing a cestus in the right hand, a cestus in the off hand and and at the same time using a greatsword in battle? I am asking because Hero Lab does not allow me to do the above mentioned operation, I can either choose cestus or greatsword. Is there any official ruling about it? Thanks!!!

My DM plans to do this in our next campaign...no xp, just add the level at the benchmarks. Alternatley though he does hand out character points that can be used to influence die rolls or saved up for feats and things..so he doest still have a carrot to dangle for superior play. You could consider doing something similar if you have concerns about keeping up motivation?
It seems like a good compromise. Also, giving out character points (I guess you are talking about hero points) is a nice way to reward players who give their best!
I just received the Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition. It seems that it follows the fast advancement track, I guess this is probably a leftover from the 3.5 edition. Is it?
It even suggests that it is possible to inform the PCs when they can level up their characters at fixed points without giving out any experience points. There is even an advancement track to help in the task.
What do you think of this method? It would take away a lot of bookkeping from the GM. But it could also water down the AP, as the PCs might not feel compelled to give their best, as they level up anyway...

Does not have to be USA or Canada. It can be any other country that can guarantee a better standard for the workers. Mind that I don't know how these particular chinese workers employed by Paizo are treated: for all that I know they could have an amazing deal and be fine. We're just discussing possibilities :)
You don't see the point because you don't want to see the point.
But since you want to play, let's play. Here comes the long explanation that you all already know but pretend not to understand.
It matters not where I buy my things, if my purchases are moral or ethic or if they aren't. I could be the most moral buyer on the world, or I could just have been taking a stand agaisnt paizo for whatever reason. What if all of this has striken my fancy just a couple of days ago? It matters not, for I am the one who buys from paizo and it's their business to provide me with answers if I ask, not mine to justify myself. It could be entirely my choice to decide that I want to be moral and ethic only with Paizo, and I have the right to do so. It's my business if I want to buy chinese clothes and not asking any question, as it is paizo's business to answer my questions about producing their books in China. I am a customer asking an information.
And I am a BUYER. I buy paizo products. And I am asking a question about this product, and the answer would make me a happier buyer. And that is all that there is to it. You are all trying to politicize my posts, while the only thing I wanted is to know if Paizo has any info on the working condition of their chinese workers. I never meant since the beginning to talk about politics.
Also, you all talk like if I want to hurt paizo. I don't. I love paizo: paizo is the best thing that happened to RPGs in the last 15 years. Yet you keep on writing about USA saving the world, about my purchases taste, about "business is business" and such. What has this to do with the thread? Unless you are just trolling, and thus I am just wasting my time.
And still I don't understand why you all get so angry, so full of hate. I just asked a legitimate question: USA is a democracy so I can do it as long as I don't commit an offence or insult someone. My question might be disturbing, but still is legitimate. Tell you what: given the results, I wished I had never started the thread and sent a PM to paizo instead.
To wrap it up: can somebody from the staff please bring order back to this thread? I feel slightly insulted and needlessy attacked.
This is not against Paizo or my purchases taste, it's about buying in an informed way.
Low margins and niche audience wouldn't justify cruelty though.
Off topic. And you know it very well.
I do not know if Paizo employess have no idea about the workers condition or if they willingfully choose not to comment. But, still I would like an official answer to my original question so that I can make an informed choice when I buy paizo products. And I really do not mean to politicize this: I just want to know that when I read the latest AP, this AP hasn't been manufactured exploiting children or underpaying workers. I think it is simple common sense: who would want to buy a book, if for creating that book a child had to skip school and work for 5 $ a month? Would you accept this in the USA? In Canada? In Poland? No you would not. So why should we accept this in China? Just because it is far away and "things are this way"? Or because "business is business"?
I love Paizo, they are the good guys of RPGs. I love reading about Erik on facebook when he writes about his character being alive after 33 sessions with no armor. I want lo lose myself in Golarion and make it part of my experiences in life. I want all of the above and more. But I want to be sure that all of this does not come at the price of somebody else suffering. Because I cannot tolerate that my "fake life" comes at the cost of somebody's "real life".
Please Paizo, can you clarify on this?

"People who needs us to come to save the world"
Well, as I said above, everybody is entitled their opinions. So let me state mine: USA is a great country and extremely important in the overall politics of the world, and a key ally to my country (Italy). But "saving the world" implies a judgment to which I cannot agree, and this judgment is "we are better than you and you need to be saved to see the right way to go". This is not acceptable. Most countries experiencing difficulties in the world do not need to be saved, they need their time to develop and reach a degree of democracy worth its name. And they are lately doing a good job of it: think about the arab spring.
I am happy that my post made a lot of people to discuss this subject. Everybody has the right to state an opinion, and by comparing these opinions we can make up our minds about what it's right or wrong.
I really trust that Paizo people did a lot of researches about their chinese printers before employing them. They are a progressive company, always careful about many issues. They are "the good guys" of RPGs industry, the way I see it.
People can say that "business is business" and the only thing that matters is profit, but I don't believe that. For the simple reason that I just could not stomach the idea that my leisure time comes from the suffering of others. If for my business I need to make other people suffer, that business shouldn't exist.

I have nothing to answer to this, except that all of this is so american. I am not american, I am from Europe. And I don't agree with your statement, as nothing in this world justifies crushing other people. No cost effectivness, no profit margin, nothing. And yes, I know it is legal for Paizo to print in China. And I trust Paizo, I am sure they did their researches and picked up chinese printer that doesn't exploit people.
As for your idea of market ("as long as it is legal, I can do it") let me remind you that 100 years ago slavery was legal. That did not make it more moral than than now. Again, I am not politicizing it. I just happened to read where they print it on brought the issue here. And if "I go down", as you wrote earlier, well, I can always get up.
Thank you guys for the info! I am a HUGE fan of Pathfinder. I just wanted to make sure that the latest AP I am reading and enjoying is not being manufactured by a 12 years old child working for 5 dollars a month. If that was the case, how could I be ok with my conscience knowing that somebody had to suffer to provide me leisure time?
