I'm assuming that Caiphon is a Great Old One of your own invention? I cannot find any reference to this being in the PHB.

I've been having too much fun looking up proverbs containing gold in it. Rission just has a fascination with gold, he's not greedy, but he appreciates how it exchanges hands and how it is forged. He's a goldsmith and the fact that one of his necklaces could travel the lands and end up somewhere that he would never travel inspires him to make quality products so people will buy it.
Thanks for directing me to that article. Seems Great Old One would be a good fit (better than the Archfey or the Fiend).
Hmmm... I think I may have figured out 5th edition... every single one of us attacks with a +5 ;)
Lol I wish. No, they are aware of us so we don't get advantage, at least I don't think we do.
You mistake my meaning - every single one of us is attacking using an ability score that we have a +3 attribute bonus as well as proficiency.
Eg Krathok with a battleax = Strength = +3 from Strength +2 proficiency = +5
Rission with a bow = Dexterity = +3 from Dex +2 proficiency = +5
Well that's if we don't have a higher ability score to our attack. But it is really simplified.
How do ciritcals work? I'm not at home with my book.
Basically double damage, no need to confirm. There are a few variant crit rules and my favorite is one die max damage plus 1 rolled plus double damage modifiers. It makes crits seem more effective to my home group.
Critical hit = roll your damage dice twice, then add any modifiers to the total.
Also, no need to confirm a crit.
Attacking a prone creature grants advantage if you are within 5ft, or disadvantage if you are not. Standing up consumes half of your total movement action. A prone creature has disadvantage on all attack rolls until it stands up.
Unless you declare otherwise, I will assume all weapon damage is lethal.

Really depends on your drink(s) of choice. It's hard to drink on a diet so even though I'm a guy I'm stuck to either skinny girl drinks (laugh it up, on a weight watchers diet it's 0 points) and a vodka and tonic with some watermelon of that flavored water squirt stuff tastes like an alcoholic jolly rancher. That being said I can drink amaretto in dr. pepper 10 for 1 point or a pint of certain hard ciders for 3 points.

Something is wrong with the site for me, for the last few days I've only been getting in half the time.
Like just now I tried to post in this thread and the game and it just locked me out.
First few days of the great golem sale, so people are trying to grab the goodies while they last.
If anyone's looking for a game, I'm running Ravenloft for 5th edition.
The castle or the Demiplane of Dread? I've done the castle a few times in various editions.
I'll be dropping out of this game, something just doesn't feel right. Not getting into the vibe of this character, i'll try your recruitment though Nerk... I think the GM made a mistake here, a full fledged, week long recruitment gives us time to invest in and flesh out our characters...
Rission (you probably saw this in the other thread, but...) just the castle at this point. If the game is awesome and fun and we get to the end, there will be a sequel. For now, though, I'm just trying to run the adventure as a one-shot.

FWIW - mikeawmids has been active on the forums on both Sunday and Tuesday (making seven posts) without making a post here, so I think it's fair to call this dead.
I had kind of figured as much.
The game is dead, Mikeawmids would you be so kind as to mark the game as dead? It was fun while it lasted though.
If no one posts in it won't it go away on it's own?
