Moving as quietly as a cat ready to leap upon its prey the half elf moves forward. Spotting the group in purple he readies his bow.
In a whisper loud enough for the others to hear Rission sees two options.
"Either we finish the kobolds, saving that group of guards and get some allies to fend off the purple men, or we defeat the purple robed men splitting both their forces up and ours. I'd take my chances on the kobolds first to gain some more allies, but then again I'm a bit of a coward."
Finally the strange silver eyed tiefling speaks her voice tinged with eldritch wisdom (or madness your pick), We would do well to strike at the kobolds... They are a known quantity, the men in purple robes not so much...
Istiel spies the attack at the gate and frowns.
"If the robes get there, the keep won't hold," she says. "Get the children to safety and then strike at them before they can join the kobolds."
Stretching the cricks out of his neck, Krathok growls "Less talk, more fight... break men, then little ones flee." and shaping to barrel into the knot of purple cloaked.
Madeleine smiles kindly over at the Orc. "There's a beauty in such simplicity, that's why I like you Krathok," she says.
"Why the robes? That must mean something to them."
Sighing he draws his bow and the used arrow aiming it at one of the men in purple.
"Alright, let's get this over with. Just say when."
Seeing the rogue's arrow fly, Istiel elbows Krathok and smiles fiercely. Then she rushes the men in purple, her scimitar flashing in the light of the fires burning around them.
