Lord Perpireen McGibel
"Ill deal with this Rope snake, you fellers press that there attack."
She flies around the rope/snake
"Now come on feller lets see you catch me"
And tugs it again.

"Ill deal with this Rope snake, you fellers press that there attack."
She flies around the rope/snake
"Now come on feller lets see you catch me"
And tugs it again.
With serpent-fast speed, Rapunzel’s Weave lashes upward and entangles Lord Perpireen around his tiny waist... but the magic of Lord Perpireen’s ring of freedom of movement allows the Fey Lord to slip free with ease!
In German: Ah so! You are a slippery one, little friend!
Rapunzel’s Weave is an intelligent rope of climbing and entanglement, Chaotic Good alignment, Int 14, Wis 10, Cha 10, Ego I will calculate later, Languages English, German, Sylvan, normal vision and hearing to 30 ft, special ability to cast feather fall 3/day and spider climb 3/day.
Michael Johnson 66
As Lord Perpireen gets acquainted with Rapunzel’s Weave, the rest of the Jackals press the attack on the vampire spawn monks of Safi monastery, while their followers engage the thralls above ground...
Using feinting tactics and strategic withdraws, Plad and the two dwarves command the followers well, keeping the dominated human monks of Safi busy without causing or taking any casualties! So far, the Jackals’ plan is playing out perfectly...
Spinner Nachtschwartzen
The dark elf assassin from the Underground city of Schattenmark, hired by the Emir of Marrakech to eliminate the trouble-makers that freed twenty of the emir’s slaves, draws near to Safi on his magic flying carpet. The fortified monastery and surrounding shanty town comes into view a few miles away on the shore of the blue Atlantic Ocean...
Spinner’s keen eyes, shaded from the hateful sun by polished onyx lenses in leather goggles, descry the commotion on the battlements even at this distance...
Ah... It seems my targets are kicking up some dust here as well! I like them already... Pity I will have to poison them all from afar...
As his carpet ferries him closer some hundred feet above the desert hard pan, the dark elf’s dexterous hands work on coating hand crossbow quarrels with potent sleeping poison...
Plad Rilfindar
Nimbly blade-dancing along a crenellated catwalk near the main gatehouse, his enchanted dancing longsword Tarantella knocking thralls unconscious with the flat of its blade while he wields his sunblade Dazzlebrand with blinding speed, Plad commands the gladiators with expert authority and charisma.
In English: Once more into the breach, my friends! For the Desert Jackals who gave you freedom! Do not fail our saviors! Let us be worthy of their heroism with our own glorious deeds! Press on! Fear not! If you fall in righteous battle, the gods will embrace you in paradise!
Udo Bierschlauffer
On the ground near the postern gate, Udo head butts a thrall in the belly, knocking the wind out of him! He bashes another thrall with his wooden round shield, knocking him senseless!
GLOIN! LOOK OUT! he roars in warning to his nearby blacksmith friend as a thrall sneaks up on the dwarf...
Lord Perpireen McGibel
he is using Share Language to talk to the rope
"You know Snake rope, your should come with me, we fey like such things as thee. I could take you to a magic land of bean storks and Giants, Geese that lay golden eggs. Where gingerbread houses are sort by porridge stealing girls and shoes come to life."
She flies down around the rope.
Acrobatics 20 + 17 = 37
He runs up the rope and around it in a dance like set of moves, playing with it as he goes
"Come now rope, would you not like to be immortalized, join me and gain a tail of your very own. I would know your name so I may tell others of your deeds"
Diplomacy 20 + 1d6 + 10 ⇒ 20 + (5) + 10 = 35 wow a 20
"I am Lord Perpireen McGibel, servant of the King under the Hill, lord of all fey. I would love you to meet his Queen for she loves things such as thee"
he slips past coils and up to the ropes head.
"Would you not like to be with one such as me."

"Rope I am your master" She says reaching out to grab it and uses her Unraveling Touch on it.

The magic rope unravels as Mwikali touches it, squealing in pain!
So grausam! Du hast mich getötet!
The magic rope is destroyed!
Lord Perpireen McGibel
"Noooo!!!"
He screams! and hangs a moment in the air, his head bowed down looking at the dust that was the rope snake. Then his head comes up and he flies to face Mwikali.
"I told you to leave it to me, but you destroyed a thing of wonder and beauty anyway, you did so from your own greed and spite. But far worse than that, you destroyed a gift for the Fey Queen. For that, mortal, a price will be paid."
And with that, his light winks out and he vanishes, plunging all into darkness. now invisible he picks up what is left of the rope and leaves invisible before ANYONE can do ANYTHING to stop him.
I can not stress how angry and upset Lord P with what the African woman has done to a priceless thing, that he has left to cool down and think of a price
Acrobatics 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (8) + 17 = 25
Diplomacy 1d20 + 1d6 + 10 ⇒ (6) + (5) + 10 = 21
Altin Karela
Altin freezes as the Lord P's light goes out, and the Jackals are plunged into darkness... Uh oh...
Is there any other light source?
Lord Perpireen McGibel
Holds the rope at in his tiny hands an hugs it.
Springing once more into light he glows high overhead.
"YOU LIVE ROPE, All is forgiven!! my gift to my queen is still intact!!"
he spins around in joy on his wings holding the rope which flayes out as he does.
"O Rope, you played a fine trick on me"
Mwikali
"Interesting, I may have to study you later rope. Yes let us slay these wicked things and be done with it" She says wands in both hands as she readies for more battle up ahead.
Altin Karela
Haha
Altin presses forward, again, just slightly behind and to the side of Wulfgar, his bow at the ready.
A magical rope, the fey is crazy, and we're walking into a vampire den. Must be Tuesday! Altin thinks to himself, mouth curling in a wry, humourless smile.
Michael Johnson 66
The Jackals arrive, prepared with spells cast and weapons raised, in the Catacombs beneath the monastery, where they see twelve coffins arranged around the perimeter of the sixty-foot-square chamber, and a stairway that both ascends to the monastery above and descends down to deeper crypts below...
Michael Johnson 66
GM are there four of them standing together that I could hit with a grease spell?
No two are within ten feet of each other, unfortunately. It’s a 60-ft-square chamber, so there’s plenty of room for them to spread out, squatting atop coffins, each occupying a ten-ft-square along the four walls... I will post a battle mat pic tomorrow or late tonight, I’m at work atm...
Giovanna di Domenico
Vanna utters a quick prayer as she wades into ckmbat, blade a flash of silver as she thrusts and parries.

Wulfgar Ivarsson
Moving into the crypt alongside Giovanna, Wulfgar attempts to flank the same vampire. Raging, his halo glowing, reflecting off his pewter-like skin. He bellows, "mIgh Heghpu', SoH Qaw' maH" and then swings the weighted spear at the creature.

Flanking the wounded vamp with Lady Vanna, the big Northman cleaves deep into the monster’s clay-like flesh, felling it!
Altin Karela
Altin follows up behind Wulfgar, ready to cast a bolstering spell on his friend. Why didn't I cast this before we got into battle again? Fool! Singing out an inspiring battle-song, he lays a hand on Wulfgar's back, flooding the Northman with the bravery and resolve of the heroes of yore.
Casting heroism on Wulfgar: +2 to attack rolls, saves, and skill checks for 50 minutes. Sorry I didn't think of it early, Wulfy! Also, I'm going to do my best to stay out of reach of any enemies, at least for now.

Not burning hands its Flaming Sphere and its job is not the vampires but the things they are standing on
Vampire spawn monk
The vamp spawns attempt to dominate as a standard action, two vying for dominance over each Jackal! Assuming all have protection from evil, their tactics are ineffective, but this causes them to wise up next round...
In Arabic: The infidels are warded by sorcery! We must suck out their blood if we cannot dominate them!

Lord P studies one of the Vamps that sort to control him.
"Now thats not nice, drinking blood and all"

Seeing the vampire he and Giovanna attack, fall. Staying away from the burning casket, he moves to the nearest undead, calling to his friends. "nItebHa' 'emDaq, wej chaH maHvaD Dech yInISQo'." He then swings his silver spear-butt at the nearest vampire.

have the vampires bunched up? I'm considering using channel
Vampire spawn monk
As Mwikali burns a second coffin to ashes, Lord P and Wulfgar coordinate attacks against another spawn, which falls into black mist after Lord P smashes in its face with a piece of telekinetically-hurled mortar and Wulfgar finishes it off with a bisecting chop of his silver great sword!
5 down, 7 to go!
