Round 6 (or 7? Not sure honestly...)

Four of the vampire spawns converge on Lady Giovanna and Wulfgar, while one leaps off its flaming coffin and charges Mwikali with a shriek of outrage and despair at the destruction of its grave, and another charges Altin as he is nocking another arrow to his bowstring! The seventh spawn glares for a second at Lord P, who is pretending to be a lantern light, before rushing toward the stairway and beginning to descend the stairs—perhaps to rouse the master vampire!

Slam vs Vanna 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 misses! (Does this trigger her parry/riposte? Or only on a successful hit?)

Moves up and flanking slam vs Vanna 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 misses!

Moves up and slam vs Wulfgar 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 almost slipping on a thigh bone, wildly flailing and missing!

Moves up, chuckling at his fellow spawn’s clumsy miss, and flanking slam vs Wulfgar 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 misses!

RRRAAAAARRRGHH!!! The spawn roar in frustration at their inability to land hits on the nimble swashbuckler and her hulking Northman ally!

Double move to menace Mwikali, fangs and claws bared!

Double move to menace Altin, snarling and snapping its fanged jaws!

As Mwikali burns a second coffin to ashes, Lord P and Wulfgar coordinate attacks against another spawn, which falls into black mist after Lord P smashes in its face with a piece of telekinetically-hurled mortar and Wulfgar finishes it off with a bisecting chop of his silver great sword!

The vamp spawns attempt to dominate as a standard action, two vying for dominance over each Jackal! Assuming all have protection from evil, their tactics are ineffective, but this causes them to wise up next round...

In Arabic: The infidels are warded by sorcery! We must suck out their blood if we cannot dominate them!

The six spawn throw off the lids of their coffins and spring out, ready to defend their graves!


The three spawn still in the tunnel recognize the Jackals as superior foes and retreat back up the tunnel to warn their fellows in the Catacombs!

Assuming I'm still within 30' and get PBS bonus... Also, not maintaining luck, lingering performance lets it work for 3 rounds every round I use it.

Six pale monks with eyes that glow red like burning coals in the darkness squat upon six of the twelve coffins—those nearest where the outflow pipe exits the crypt! They watch the outflow pipe for intruders...
