Doh! I was guessing it was less than 4...
I was too! In fact, I had a response all typed out and submitted (he failed the save) that had the group winning with a one hit tko, but something was bothering me. I went back and reread the spell twice before I keyed in on the HD. I was rather upset that I had to delete the post and rewrite everything!

Focusing on the combat at hand Sindarintol lets loose a splash of acid at the minotaur.
Acid Splash: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 - 2 = 4
damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
As the acid flies Sindarintol rushes in slashing with his scimitar. Just before he slashes he releases a small portion of magic into his scimitar
Scimitar: 1d20 + 1 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 - 2 + 1 = 11
Damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 1 = 5
Spell Combat; swift action arcane pool to give scimitar +1

Janira pulls out a bag and tosses it at the minotaur

Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
The bag explodes and covers the minotaur in sticky glue. With an almighty roar, it tries to jump back a bit, but ends up getting stuck to the ground, unable to move.
Minotaur is now entangled and unable to move

Sindarintol slashes his scimitar at the large man-bull and quickly steps back hurling a small globule of acid at it's furry side.

Sindarintol brings his scimitar around in what is almost a devastating blow, but the minotaur shifts just in time. The elf follows this with a bolt of acid that sizzles as it eats into overgrown bull.

Levin makes it across the log with ease, while Mamori begins to turn the Minotaur into a pin cushion. Meanwhile, as the party closes in to help her, Janira drops her whip and draws her crossbow. She begins to load and string it boping to stay out of reach of the minotaur.

Levin casts bless, while Mamori continues making shiska-bull.
Sinarintol flash freezes the minotaur, then follows through with an amazing slice of his scimitar that leaves the beast crippled.
Janira finally gets her crossbow loaded and spanned and turns it on the minotaur, putting it down permanently.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Typed that out before I resolved the combat.. and promptly forgot about it. Grimnir climbs out of the river a bit down the way, and Janira plops down on the ground, exhausted. As she catches her breath, she waves the party up and around her. "Well done, my friends, very well done indeed. Did you find any gillmen? What was in the caves?"

"Sure did!" Levin responds excitedly. "They're really not so bad, at least not all of them. Found one who just wanted to be left in peace, didn't want any trouble with us surface folk. There was a big diorama cave too! And then some dead bodies attacked us!"

Shivering like a nearly-drowned cat, Grimnir finally emerges from the water. Though he seems eager to escape the water, he quickly moves over to Janira.
"Glad ta see ye made it out okay, lass!" he beams.
He explains all the things they found, and seems genuinely pleased the halfling is okay.

Ok guys. I will call it at that. I am working on the chronicle sheets, and just need information from Mamori and Sindarintol to finish the sheets and get the game reported.
