unless anyone has any strong opinions, Cueball will put that casing into the spare slot on her armor. She often single attacks and I THINK it could help her stellar rush.

Navasi and Obozaya have no strong opinions, at least not about the casing.

Delea and Navasi each recoverh one copi heartpearle. Copi heartpearles are horn-shaped tubes that contain emotion- and gravity-sensitive liquid crystals within. When a creature holds the tube and meditates, a unique “flowering” crystal tentacle emerges, its shape and color limited only by the emotions and imagination of the one wielding it. The most pure heartpearles supposedly bloom into flowering growths at their tips before the whole thing solidifies into pure colored crystal. These are so rare on the surface of Tabrid Minor that only fragments are thought to currently, exist except for a few preserved crystal flower petals on display at a Yihil province museum. Obtaining even one set of these items is a major find for the Starfinder Society and the copaxi people as a whole.

No, I do not know why the scenario says 'only one PC may attempt this check' and 'each PC who succeeds at this check'...

During their exploration of the fortress core, the Starfinders emerge into a large open area hundreds of feet in diameter. At the center of this space are a series of medieval-style towers, surrounded by a moat.

>Slide 6<

Currently, this training tower is home to a group of creatures made of solid air who have claimed this part of Gadrathar Fortress as their “court”—they have adorned themselves with fossilized pieces of dead copaxi solarians and ancient pieces of armor

When the Starfinders approach the area, the creatures shoo them away and even throw bits of debris in their general direction to make it clear that these corporeal outsiders are not welcome in their space. They do not deign to engage in conversation with “solids” no matter what the agents have to say. No check is required for the PCs to be able to tell that the inside of the tower contains copaxi remains and objects that are certainly of historical importance, and that the air elementals are treating the corpses of dead copaxis with extreme disrespect.

Basically this.

The Starfinders must decide whether to try to fight the elementals or leave them alone. First tow two votes wins of course, because there are only three players.

Looks like the will of the party is to leave. You will remember how to get here if you choose to return later.

The Starfinders decide to leave the creatures alone and venture further into the fortress. After a few minutes, they encounter something unusual for this structure - a room that is not round.

>Slide 7< The ceiling is 50 feet high and the room is in normal illumination except for the white circles, which have bright illumination. The pews on the map are prayer mats and do not obstruct movement.

Veins of copi break through the worked-stone floors and pillars of this place, built to accommodate dozens of worshippers kneeling in rows as leaders lead them in meditation. Some of the pillars boast more growths of copi than others, reaching out like hands towards the center and edges of the room.

The ambiance is completed by a copaxi who looks nearly skeletal in appearance, their legs folded into a lotus position and their elongated arms crossed. They float in the middle of a circle of copi fingers that protrude from the center of the chamber, almost as if they were creating an air current to keep them aloft. Their face-plate lifts to face the new arrivals as they enter.

A deep, resonating voice comes from the undead copaxi, but simultaneously resounds from the pillars as well. “You have shown great respect for this place and its spirit, travelers. Though you have not been raised to follow our ancient traditions, you seem to understand the balance by which we sought to live here. But do you truly feel it in your souls?”

Some smart guys calculated once you couldn't keep one magnet on top of another. It was impossible. Then some idiot walked into the lab and spun the top magnet like a top. Poof it stayed up. You guys seem to have the same idea here. Its a big universe, a lot of the good ideas tend to repeat abit you know?

Navasi, Obozaya and Delea approach the Master carefully.

Cueball approaches less carefully, and squeezes off a shot. Unfortunately, it misses its mark.

The creature waves its hands, and suddenly the Starfinders' bodies all feel heavier.

The entire area is now treated as an area of high gravity.

High Gravity:
On high-gravity worlds, characters are burdened by their increased weight, and their physical abilities are affected accordingly. On a high-gravity world, where the gravity is at least twice as strong as standard gravity, a character (and her gear) weighs twice as much as on a standard-gravity world, but she has the same amount of strength. Such characters move at half speed, can jump only half as high or as far, and can lift only half as much. Thrown weapons (though not those of natives) have their ranges cut in half as they fall to the ground more rapidly. Modifications to running, jumping, and lifting can be negated by certain magic or technology, but projectiles remain affected. Characters who remain in a high-gravity environment for long periods (more than a day) often become fatigued and remain so until they leave the planet or become accustomed to the gravity.

He then blasts Cueball with an even stronger, focused force.

Navasi continues to get' em and ping the enemy with her gun.

Obozaya fires a shot, but she is better suited for melee. Maybe she also wants to >fly<?

Delea sends a cone of force against the Master. It strikes but does not push the undead back.

Cueball does not whip it or whip it good, but he is close enough to the Master to threaten it again.

The Master floats further upward, carefully getting out of whip range, before unleashing more gravity on Cueball

Obozaya tries to fly up but is encumbered due to high gravity overpowering her jetpack. She fires her autotarget rifle again.

I just realized that from the description the master is probably undead, but I haven't been using my special anti-undead powers. And now he's too high up... GM, is the hoverchair able to lift up some in the high gravity?

Yes. It will have its speed reduced by the gravity but can still fly.

My first time using the fly rules, jet pack has a move of 30 feet. Heavy gravity doubles the extra 5 cost for ascending to 10 feet, making it cost 15 to ascend 5 feet, so with a 30 fly speed, could only ascend 10 feet? But jetpack also says "A jetpack can’t lift you if you’re encumbered.

Even if Obozaya drops everything but armor and doshko, they are still over by 0.5 bulk because of the heavy gravity? Cueball used thruster heels, which dosen't have the encumbered limit.

This seems to be a test, maybe flying without armor is the answer, but that takes 1 minute. but it would take 2 move actions worth of movment to get in melee range without a reach weapon.

Obozaya takes a free action to drop her doshko, next turn, she can drop one of her guns to be able to fly.

With the thruster heels cueball has a fly speed of 65: 30 for the jet pack, 30 from the thruster heels, and 5 from being an electric/current solarion and 0 from her viridan balbus..... "Hey OBO, do you have ANYTHING speeding you up?" She's in light armor and all her gear is built in augmentations, L or -. For a ysoki shes pretty buff (11 strength)

If someone needs 10 feet of movement enough to spend a standard action on it she could drop the Aeon stone down to someone.
