Sigríðr gives it another smash, just to make sure.

"Heylookitthis! Glastor dive under the broken table, and brings out a small jade statue of an angelic being.

"Hmmmmmmmmmmm"

"I have no idea what this is, but its really pretty? Dibs?"

Prizm looks hopefully at Glastor! Then he glances at Bert and sees the tiny disapproving beady eyes.

"Oh... fooey!"

The artifact is indeed pretty. Looks like it might be quite valuable to a collector or a church.

Door to the right or upstairs next?

"Unless we have an interest in leaving enemies to our backs, let's check this room before going further up the stairs." Says Blue, moving towards the closed door.

GM push. Someone opens the door. Eventually.

There's a nice view from up here. Can see pretty far.

Nothing attacks, and nothing else of interest though.

Prizm explores the room!

Fhlangorn moves over by the door to the stairs.

Take your time posting over the next few days. I'm just posting before hitting the road for the Holidays. I'll still be active.

Fhlangorn heads towards the stairs, and everyone else follows in suit.
Assume you're all lined up in a reasonable marching order on the stairs

The four wings of the tower are completely open on this level, forming one great, cross-shaped chamber with arched ceilings. The decayed remnants of a carpet run from the doorways at the end of each wing, meeting in the center, where a spiral staircase drops out of sight below. A large, throne-like chair stands in the middle of the eastern wing next to a big chest.

The ceiling is 20 feet high in this room; it is dimly lit by the daylight shining through the archways.

You see a troglodyte figure standing in the eastern archway, gazing longingly at the city in the distance. Next to his side you see an albino crocodile. Hearing you come up the stairs he turns towards you.

The large troglodyte will begin murmuring, beginning casting a spell.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Well... shit

Looking at the troglodyte confused and trying to listen very hard, Prizm gives up. "He is a spellcaster! And I have no idea what the heck he is casting! But it's likely... not good."

Raising his wand the gnome fires another magic missile.

Wand of Magic Missile at the Troglodyte Leader: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Post that impressive display of magic, Prizm shuffles to a safer spot.

We seem to be missing the upper level

"I hope this is the last one of these smelly beasts anywhere near by." Blue says as his blade pops into reality again. Then he rushes forward to slash through the spell caster, in hopes to disrupt his spell.

Atk: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

DOh! Did it again. Map updated.

Blue double moves to make it up to the troglodyte.
Balenar begins singing again.

For when you all move within 30ft of the Trog:

Fhlangorn will be sickened. 10 rounds.

Snapjaw moves and tries to bite Blue.

You're all coming up from the stairs in the center. 5th floor map

Fhlangorn double moves into room 10 feet from the crocodile.

Sigríðr concentrates and takes on the appearance of a Bull. She then begins to move into combat.

Standard Action: Animal Aspect: Bull for +2 strength
Move Action: 20' Move

Krush double moves, careful to stay out of Sigrid's way.

A swarm of spiders appears and attacks Sigrid and Glastor.

Sigrid fort poison: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

Sigrid and Glastor take 6 damage each. Sigrid is distracted by the swarm of spiders crawling over her nauseated 1 round

The large troglodyte draws a scimitar and attacks Blue.

As a nihilist recognizing that the hit wasn't real Blue observes out loud, "That felt like it could have hurt more. Praise Calistria!" With that small shout-out to his goddess Blue takes another swing at the Trog.

Blue's attack hits the troglodyte.

The albino crocodile attacks Blue.

Krush has seen the trog cast spells and wants to prevent him from doing so anymore. He swings his hammer down hard.

Sigríðr calls out to the gods, "Torag, may I find my inner strength."

Shirt reroll of distraction fort save 1d20 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 4 = 23.

She continues her trudge towards the Troglodyte and swings her pick in fury.

Move Action: 10' forward
Standard Action (assuming the save reroll makes it): Swing weapon

For our GM:

Magic Missile Wand!: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Krush gets a hit. Trog still standing, though not feeling well.

Sigrid seeks inner strength and miraculously brushes off the grossness of spiders crawling all over her face. Afterall, She could not be more affected by it than a man .
Sigrid's reroll is good. Not nauseated.

However, as soon as Sigrid steps towards the troglodyte the floor begins to give way, collapsing beneath everyone in the farthest 20 ft of this Eastern wing.

Krush and the Troglodyte jump and manage to agilely catch the edge, crawling back up to safety.

Sigrid, Blue, and the albino crocodile all fall, attempting desperately to grab onto whatever they can on the way down.

Sigrid reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Blue reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Snapjaw reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Sigrid manages to barely grasp the rock ledge on the 4th floor landing. partial fall dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 6 taking 6 damage.
Blue and the crocodile continue to fall..

Blue reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Snapjaw reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

The crocodile crashes into the ground and dies.

Oh right, I couldn't be falling, as falling would be something that doesn't actually exist... he thinks to himself as he steadies his heart beat and wipes the bit of sweat from his brow.

Sigríðr watches Blue in slow-motion start to fall from the floor above, only to hover a moment before he steps back onto the ledge. She shouts, "The crocodile is dead! I got him."

Trog takes the magic missile hit. After just pulling himself up. He's still standing (barely).

After glimpsing a fate that would not have been pretty Blue is able to manage grabbing onto the 5th floor ledge, after all. Booting the crocodile in the face to manage to hang on by a finger.

After some very valiant attempts from the party to finish this troglodyte off...

The spider swarm gets the finishing blow on the Trog before vanishing.

Glastor fort poisoned: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Glastor takes 5 damage from the swarm, and is nauseated one round.

Out of initiative.

Sigríðr returns upstairs and points at the crocodile corpse, "Glad somebody up here could take care of the easy one. I got that one."

She looks around seeing if there's much else to explore.

Looking around you find:

Treasure: Tasskar carries keys to the doors in areas 6 and 7. (those rooms you smashed open downstairs.. )A large wooden chest holds Tasskar’s treasure, some of it gathered from within the Fallen Fortress: a masterwork short sword, 15 cold iron shurikens, two flasks of acid, a potion of cat’s grace, a potion of lesser restoration, a wand of summon monster I (CL 3rd, 9 charges), an amethyst worth 100 gp, and 247 gp in assorted coins.

Sigríðr states plainly, "I'm really surprised you didn't all get yourselves killed."

Krush smiles.

"I'm just glad nobody went splat like that lizard!"

"The crocodile is dead! I got him."

"I have to disagree, I had to step on him to regain my balance which clearly caused him to fall the rest of the way." Blue says, setting the record straight, "but thank you, for confirming my kill."

Sigríðr crosses her arms, "I thought the croc didn't exist for you. You didn't step on anything."

"Is it over? I was just starting to get on Siggy's good side!"

Prizm beams around the group and gives Krush a hi-5.. which is basically a leaping slap on his kneecap.

Bert walks over to Prizm's side and deftly sticks out his little bird leg, promptly tripping Prizm so that the gnome falls flat face first to bring the session to a close.

Looking over at Sigrid, the dodo winks one tiny little beady eye.

"What did I say about calling me Siggy, do you want your head separated from your body?" She yells furiously, but stops short.

DC 8 perception check to notice that as she watches Bert, an ever slight smile barely appears on the face of Sigríðr.

Sigríðr crosses her arms, "I thought the croc didn't exist for you. You didn't step on anything."

"You're right, it didn't really exist for me, though it did take up space, but it did exist for you and for you i stepped on it, at least that's how it happened in this reality. You see... " Blue appears to have a thought then let's it go with a shake of his head. After a pause, with a wave of his hand at Siggy he says, "I did not step on any crocodile, Siggy."

"You people are wierd " Glastor says, encore he channels to heal.
