Invaders from Lingshen stole a distinctive map from Shokuro and kept it as spoils of war. The map is painted onto orange silk and highly detailed with clues to locate the Summer Palace. I understand the map now rests in a calligraphy school in Xiwu called the School of Affinities. The School of Affinities does not understand the cultural significance of the map and has refused to even engage in discussions about returning it to its rightful country of origin. Please bring this map home. This task requires subtlety, discretion, and likely light fingers.

A correspondent of mine, a minor bureaucrat in Po Li named Yue Xin, implies that he has identified where to find some valuable information to locate the Summer Palace. Although he attempts to obscure the truth with his cryptic responses, I believe Yue Xin is fearful of searching out the information himself, so there may be some danger. I have written to him of your capabilities, and he is eager to meet you. Travel to Changdo, the capital of Po Li, and find Yue Xin at his habitual fishing hole outside the city gates. He will direct you from there.

The summer palace is lost, but not all who served there disappeared. I have a correspondent in Quain whose ancestor once lived in the palace. Travel to Lanming, that nation’s capital, and seek out the martial arts master Jiang Fei of the School of the Jade Ogre, who has been told to expect you. The young woman has a favor to ask of you in exchange for her family’s lore about the palace’s location.

He will need to climb out of the hole for you to fire at him. I figured a little crowd control when facing multiple enemies was a good idea. Not sure if the GM will let me underhand lob acid in there at him on my next turn.

Darn. I missed that Yue Xin was casting in the pit. My whole Magic Missile the caster plan doesn't work if the caster is in a pit. But I figured it was better then "I deal 12 - 15 dmg to an enemy every turn." Well, Better in the sense that everyone gets to participate.

The pit is only 5ft deep so his head may be sticking out. Since MM autohits I think an argument could be made for firing it. Unless he remained prone.

If Zheng is down, I'll fire at Jianghong not Yue Xin...knew I didn't have LOS on Yue Xin as I was gonna fire at him first round but you beat me to it...

Not sure if you have LOS on Jianghong since he appears to be up on a ridge.

Did he participate in the battle last round? I missed his action if he did.

He did not but I thought an arrow in his direction might persuade him to give this up...I'm on a ridge on the right side of the road and would move up the rise a few squares before firing...thought I might have LOS then since Zheng has been talking to him during the fight...

Won't matter any way if Zheng is not down as I can't compete with him in melee...
