I think we need to flee like the dogs we are. There's no telling how many reinforcements they have, although if we stay we may be able to glean information from the enemy force, assuming we win.

Basically 4 parts to every round of Chase.
1 Choose Strategy: This is supposed to be done in secret so I should hide my choice in spoilers.
2. Opposed skill check
3. Apply Advantages
4. Everyone gets to act in normal initiative order. Drivers only get 1 half action.

So after DM post his check and results are applied you can take your actions. Could shoot but range is far. Every point of lead is 50 feet. So there will be some range modifers. Not sure about aid another it is an action so maybe. Also Razor's sniper rifle is in the back FYI

FYI I just realized that Razor is not trained in driving the large cargo trucks. So my rolls have a negative 6 modifier because of that. Meaning we only gained 1 point of lead and the range is 300. For every range increment beyond the first take a -2. So the AK47 has range of 125 so we are in 3rd range increment and those rolls have a -4 mod for range. Also the shots are probably going to hit the vehicle not the driver. It is possible to do a called shot on the driver but very difficult. -6 to attack. Then the driver does a Damage Save against DC10 +1/2 (Damage Caused - Vehicle Damage Save). If the vehicle fails 3 damage saves it is damaged and can't chase us. Another note is that vehicles do retain damage if the save is successful.

Lead for Vehicles of that size group is 50 feet per. Since you are at Lead 6, and not 7, it would be 300 feet. Otherwise, Razor has it right.

Is Smith using 3 round burst or attempting to fire three separate attacks? If using 3 round burst, you only have to roll once and if you beat the Defense by 5, you hit with 2 rounds, beat it by 10, hit with all three rounds.

Three round burst makes the most sense.

Three round burst is a trick applied to a standard attack so it is a half action. Smith could fire two 3-round bursts in a round.
I had typed a long message detailing the difference between auto-fire and burst but then accidentally pressed backspace and lost it all.
Basically full auto mode should only be used by high level characters against very easy to hit NPCs. Unless you want to use some of the tactical actions such as Suppressive Fire or Strafe.
The two fire mode actions Autofire and Burst are described on pages 354 and 355 of the book.
Also of note the table on page 299 shows which firing modes the different types of weapons have. On that page it also states that switching between modes is a free action.

Essentially to hit the driver, Smith attacks with a -6 Called Shot, bringing his Init down by 5 next turn. Even with Burst Fire, it's tough. The hard part is he still has to beat the damage save to even be able to choose the driver...

If we slap around the scientist a bit, and take a breather, we could move back to the site we recovered him from before dawn, and lie in wait to survey any more activity, but that's assuming that its late enough that we wouldn't see much activity.

Honestly, I think if we're going to spy on the area we were just at, we need to do so now.
