Yea, I thought they didn't either, but it specifically mentions that resistances don't 'normally' stack when gained through spells.
In the case of Extreme Endurance and a Tiefling's natural bonuses, neighther are gained through a spell.
Of course, none of this is game breaking mind you, and I don't see any reason to simply just NOT let it stack, but it would be nice for some clarification.
In many ways, this kinda reminds me of the sad conversation I had when I learned that the 'Superstition' rage power benefit didn't stack with moral bonus to will saves (trust me, that was a killer) :(

Hmm, I wonder if they specifically intended to exclude spell-gained resistances. That seems so random. Maybe they just forgot about the other ways you can gain resistance (templates, class abilities)? This is from the Universal Monster Rules, maybe they weren't looking at all the possibilities because monsters are generally just less elaborate than PCs?
