Website issues have been slowing me down too.
As mentioned in the IC, mostly schoolwork, also website issues. Although at least for me, the latter have gotten a bit better.
Unfortunately I'm travelling with work for the next few days so posting will be intermittent.

I've been very weighed down with the later parts of the semester. Tired, and burnt-out. I'm having a hard time keeping up with things.
It will all get better in a couple of weeks as the term ends and I finish all the grading.

Hey folks. I'm writing to all of my games to let you know that I'm going through some stuff right now. A dear friend of mine just passed away, and the past few days have been rather hectic, with friends and family visiting from out of town, a memorial service this afternoon, etc.
I'm not abandoning anyone, but I do appreciate your patience and understanding while I take a couple of days to get things sorted. I estimate I'll be back sometime before the end of this week.

It’s been a whirlwind week in the opposite direction - I’ve gotten accepted for basically my dream job (I start on 12/29), reconciled things with my estranged sister, and spent an inordinate amount of time with a girl I’m head-over-heels about, and who seems to feel at least mostly the same.
Things seem to be looking up. I’m bringing the book to work tomorrow, to post when I get in, before things get busy.

I've been AWOL for about 2-3 weeks, as the end of this semester was really wiping me out. I'm into Christmas Break now, so I should be able to start picking things up.
I should be levelled. Skill points went to Arcana, Spellcraft and Perception. Everything else did not involve choices.

Since we're leveling up and have several spellcasters in the group: anyone up for collaborating on spell selection? I could pick up magic weapon, bless, shield of faith, or protection from evil. All of those are on some of your spell lists, but as a spontanous caster if I take one it might free the truest of you up to use your spells for other things.
I think I may be focusing on single target buffs so I don't think I'll be using Bless much but it would be useful to have.

So, I'd like to propose that we not fuss about this game for the next couple of days, and all of us post at least 1 sentence daily (M-F), starting on 1/2/18. I'd rather see slow forward momentum than have us all worried about carving out time for a long, thoughtful post.
If that sounds silly, I'm happy to entertain other ideas, I just love this AP and all of your characters, and want to get it up and rolling again in the new year.

Yeah, quick short posts takes the pressure off writing a big post. Works for me.

I know the feeling, sir. I found myself making tactical retreats from many parts of my life for the majority of December. Don't rush yourself, don't push it on account of li'l old us, but I'm glad to have you back whenever it happens.
