Van Helsing just started a 14 day field exercise I believe. I'm not sure if they were allowed to have their phones this time, but I think the answer is no since he hasn't responded to texts. He may have to be botted until his return.

Equipment:
wizened crone: long robes and walks with a cane but is permitted to cast spells.
monkey king: none but you can cast spell.
clown: you can carry and wield a broom or stick (treat as an improvised
weapon dealing 1d6 nonlethal damage), claiming it to be whatever weapon they desire for the sake of performance and comedic value. You can make fun of others and cast spells.
cruel bandit: long wooden knife (1d4 nonlethal), specially balanced to allow a capable individual to make nonlethal sneak attacks with it.
General: wooden sword (1d8 nonlethal) and armor (treat as splint mail)

So no armor unless you're the explicitly said to be wearing it (i.e. General)? Does the Clown's improvised weapon incur the -4 penalty?
No armor indeed but the weapons don't incur the normal penalty.

No you can't. Actually, it was a GM mistake. The mage shouldn't have tried to do that.

Multitables are always heavier on action, nature of the beast, but that was a lot of fun!

Thanks a lot for running! I know how difficult these specials can be, so the effort is appreciated. I was surprised by how much combat there was in this one.

Thank you very much for running this Zinou! I know from experience that specials can be a monster to run and this one especially has a brutal pace. Still, I had a good time and enjoyed gaming with all of you.
