A sharp cry emerges from the bathroom, followed by the sound of breaking glass and the horrid squealing of some small creature. The alchemical infused flames quickly consume the tiny creature, filling the bathroom with the smell of burnt hair and flesh.

Back in the main room, Burnclaw stares at the giant lion-man-golem and notes no movement, deciding to instead search the room for valuables. Torch, being far smarter and more perceptive of things, stares hard at the beast, but sees only the dying flames from his bomb futilely licking away at the creature, but failing to cause any harm. A slow shimmer of heat rises from the thing before settling down again.

Burnclaw finds himself devoid of shiny loot after a quick search of the room, the main attractions being mold and mildew. He does however see that the large room opens up further to the east, and promises more loot in that direction.

Please make sure you are keeping up with where your guys are on the map as we move through the house. It will be important when I start dropping fireballs on Burnclaw's head. :)

Having defeated the vicious baththub rat, but disappointed that the whole tub didn't catch fire Bart hurries along to stand with a dramatic pose over the giant horrible beast.

Gobbo!

Having completely destroyed his foe, Bart relishes in the afterglow of a successful encounter, knowing that this rat was only one of many that would lead to his eventual rulership of Golarion. Torch, unhappy with anything that didn't prove flammable, follows Burnclaw and Nurpus into the room, looking for a stack of papers, can of oil, or something else he might be able to quickly set fire to.

A rather gruesome antique—what appears to be a mummified monkey head—hangs on the northern wall here, its tiny mouth gaping. A bellpull extends from the monkey’s gaping mouth. A ratty throw rug partially obscures a foul stain of dark-colored mold on the floor.

The big green splotch is the rug and mold beneath.

Further east, a mahogany table surrounded by chairs sits in the room. Twin fireplaces loom to the west, while to the east, stained-glass windows obscure what could have been a breathtaking view of the Lost Coast. Each window depicts a monster rising out of smoke pouring from a seven-sided box. From north to south are depicted a gnarled tree with an enraged face, an immense hook-beaked bird with sky-blue and gold plumage, a winged centaurlike creature with a lion’s lower body and a snarling woman’s upper torso, and a deep blue squidlike creature with evil red eyes.

As soon as the rope is pulled the monkey's mouth opens wider than normally possible, followed by a loud scream of "STOP PULLING MY TONGUE!", which echoes through the rooms, nearly shaking the walls themselves with the sheer volume of the shout. Just as soon as it began, the head is quiet and still once more...

Bart sighs at the numbheads in the other room and goes off looking for his own glory.

The goblins, completely surprised by the talking monkey head, stare in disbelief at the thing while Torch moves to quickly put an end to the immediate threat just as Mugmuff slices the pull rope at the source, severing the mechanism completely. Fire blossoms forth from the bomb, covering the wall, monkey, and some goblins in flaming debris. Strangely enough, the wall itself refuses to burn, only sizzling a bit and giving off a foul smelling smoke as a result of the blast.

Bart, tired of the other goblins and their antics, quietly creeps up the stairs, completely out of sight of his companions. Rounding the top he comes to an open hallway, complete with moldy wall hangings and ancient looking pictures. The entire place reeks of rot and mildew, which is comforting for the goblin, almost like home. Up ahead he can make out several doors as the hallway turns off to the north. Sadly, the floor seems uneven and unable to line up properly with his quiet footsteps, as the overlords of Pai-zo failed to make a map that does not completely suck when it comes to lining up with an actual grid. Despite the challenge, he manages to make his way through the hallway without falling, even if the floor is quite uneven and tries to ram him into the wall.

Mugmuff takes 2 splash damage, and Burnclaw takes 5 splash damage.

Bart continues to creep along, stopping for a moment to lick the wall candy before bypassing the first door. stupid longshanks think me fall for first door trap Bart show them..

and slipping around the corner to the second door. Despite being tempted by more wall candy Bart decides to creep open the door instead.

Since Bart is off on his own, I'll go ahead and update his scene!

Bart licks the tasty looking mold on the wall, but finds that it is actually far less tasty than he thought. The flavor reminds him more of the experience of licking a bugbear's backside and not so much the sweet and flavorful taste he'd expect from such a lovely looking moldy wall.

Bart slowly opens the second door, not fool enough to fall for the obvious longshanks trap. Beyond the door he finds a bedroom that features a child-sized bed, a chair next to a toy box, and a looming stone fireplace big enough for a child to get lost in. The walls are smeared with mold and rot, and the odor of decay hangs heavy in the air here. In the corner he can just make out the sound of a child sobbing to itself, but when he moves to examine it, there is nothing there but a patch of fungus and mold.

Nurpus:

As the other goblins bicker with the monkey you are about to blow to pieces with Purpus, your mind is suddenly clouded with a vision of your mother and father. You see your mother holding a torch, brandishing it with delight, and your father armed with a wickedly cruel looking knife, his body covered with festering tumors and boils. They both look at you with utter hate and contempt, and then turn on each other, hacking and clubbing, each attempting to maim the other one. Deep in your heart you know that whichever one wins the fight will be coming for you next, ready to take your life.

Suddenly your vision clears, and you are left staring at your goblin companions once more, but you cannot seem to shake the feeling of dread that hangs over you, knowing that your life will soon be at risk.

You take 3 points of Wisdom damage from the terrors you witnessed.

Nurpus reels in fear, shuffling backwards and falling prone.

Once he regains vision, he mutters.

"Something rong. Mams tried to kill me. Now mams gone. My head hurt now."

He then stands back up, very confused.

Bart shuffles into the room, quickly ransacking the toy chest inside and finding only mildewed and rotten stuffed animals and villagers inside. A few small wooden blocks which haven't completely disintegrated are all that remains of a once rich trove of children's toys inside.

Anything else happening downstairs? Right now you are all standing around like a bunch of goobers and Nurpus is evidently having visions of strange things.

Bart has a few fun moments of chasing around the rotting fluffy bunny with the moldy stuffed swordsman. Just as the fate of the deliciously fluffy bunny appears sealed, the goblin hears the sound of footsteps heading up the stairs down the hall, with no regard to stealth or subtlety being evident.

Assuming Nurpus is following Burnclaw, that still leaves Mugmuff, Kovak, and Torch milling about on the lower level.

Burnclaw ignores stealth and keeps barging around upstairs, looking for fun things to bite or burn. He bursts into the room where Bart was hanging out.

As the group quietly sneaks around, the less stealfully inclined bloodrager stomps down the hall and heads through the first open door he finds, discovering what was once a child's bedroom from the looks of the furniture and items within the room. The same moldy rot and decay covers the walls here, filling the room with the same stink the rest of the house seems cursed with. In one corner of the room a pair of rotting stuffed toys lay upon the floor, neglected.
