Nuz scans through the documents quickly, but finds they contain nothing but nonsensical scribbles about fire and weapon and blazing rays of hellish flame. Nothing that would concern the goblins.
Sorting themselves out quickly, the group scrabbles up the ladder and finds themselves on a high stone surface, the light of the sun blazing down upon them and heating the rocks under their feet. Far below, like so many ants, the people of Sandpoint can be seen gathering for their beloved festival.
Various mechanical contraptions lie in ruin along the surface of the tower, scattered around boulders and rocks, some of them bearing strange markings and runes on their weathered surfaces.

Nuz the Cheesethief |

"Nuz get ropes and hook ready for quick slide down."
Moving quickly and knotting his coil of rope with Crazy Eye's coil, he then tied it to the grappling hook and anchored it in as best he could.
Once the signal was given Nuz was ready to slide down first to protect the others on their way down.

Torch rubs his hands excitedly at the thought of the big boom to come. "How we gonna get down?" he ponders, looking over the side.

"Beeg thinks Shooty Shooty and Crazygooglies have ropes. Probably use that." Beeg goes to look at the mechanical contraptions, thinking that maybe he might find something valuable here.

Mugmuff Darktalon |

Mugmuff quickly looks for and pockets anything of value off the longshanks, then climbs up after the others. He arrives just in time to hear Torch's question.
"Nuz gotz good way down. We sets big boom to go boom and slides down rope."

Beeg examines the devices but unfortunately he wasn't paying the proper attention during his Introduction to Knowledge Engineering 101 class at Goblin High and can't make heads nor tails of the strange contraptions. Mugmuff, ever one to take advantage of a corpse, shuffles through the pockets of the dead and headless longshanks and manages to recover several coin purses, not brimming with wealth but not empty either.
Far down below a man's voice can be heard, echoing through the city as the festival begins to start.

I'm not sure anyone armed the device, but we are going to assume so, and push on!
As the satchel is planted at the top of Old Light, one of the goblins takes a moment to light the fuse as the rest of the group begins rappelling off of the side of the structure. Soon a half dozen goblins are busy scrambling down the stone walls in an effort to get away from the calamity as soon as possible. Feet end up in eyes and toes in ears as they make their way down the rope. At about the half-way point there is a thunderous explosion from up above, fire and rock spraying out from the top of the tower with a massive BOOM. Thick black clouds of red smoke swirl about in the air as the updraft of the heat sends plumes of the stuff into the sky. Even from this distance an audible gasp is heard from the crowd further in town. Screams of women and children echo through the city and dogs begin barking wildly at the noise.
In the distance a horn is heard, trumpeting the signal for the attack, as the town is suddenly swarmed by dozens and dozens of goblins and their allies, a coordinated attack from several different angles, which sets the residents of Sandpoint into complete chaos.
As the goblin group makes it to the base of Old Light they can tell that the attack is on in full force.

Nuz the Cheesethief |

As soon as his feet hit the ground, Nuz was crouched with his bow drawn and an arrow ready to be sent towards any longshank around. When everyone was down from the rope, Nuz looked towards the erupting battle and smiled.
"We go?"

Beeg Bada Boom |

"Go! Go! Beeg not want be left out of looting!" Beeg scrambles off to join the attack, chanting to himself as he goes.
"We be goblins, we be smashes. Kill the longshanks, make them ashes. When they dead we get they stuff. Beeg no know what rhyme with stuff."

Minimaster Torch |

Torch follows the others to join in the looting, singing, "We burn longshanks town to ashes, they can kiss us gobbo a**es!"

Beeg Bada Boom |

"Beeg no wanna sing 'bout Mugmuff. That's dumb, dumbhead!"
Singing again, Beeg starts off with "Goblins fight, goblins kill, burn your house, goblins will. When we tired, goblins bed, use for pillow, longshanks head!"

Glad to come back to some funnies :)
The goblins set off from Old Light, quickly picking a path out through the town and running amok. All around there are sounds of screams and battle, as the goblin forces descend upon Sandpoint. Much of the commotion appears to be coming from the south and west, so the troop's destination seems clear.
Heading down the road towards the center of town, the goblins come upon several humans fleeing the attack. A few of the men halt in their tracks at the sight of the melon-headed monsters and brandish pitchforks and daggers at the approaching invaders.
Initiative!

The goblins explode into action. Gretcha puts the whammy on one of the townies, giving him a serious case of the stinkeye and compromising the man's willpower. Mugmuff scoots up and stabs at one of the men, but fails to connect, his weapon swinging wide. Bart scrambles up the side of a thatched building and lobs a javelin at the closest longshanks target, the projectile burying itself in his torso and drawing a scream from the man. Torch, sure that Mugmuff will dodge away in time, tosses a bomb at the man in front of him, but the device slips from his grip at the last moment and goes wide. The bomb slams into the front of the building to the north, setting the timbers on fire and sending flaming goop slashing on the townies, who both manage to somewhat avoid the damage. Beeg levels Da Boom at one of the men in the back, nicking him with his shot. Finally, Nuz blasts an arrow into the man with a javelin in his gut, killing him outright.
The men, fighting for their homes, quickly react and descend upon Mugmuff, striking at him with their implements. However, their shovels and rakes appear too unwieldy to use properly, and the little goblin deftly evades the blows.
As the battle continues, more longshanks appear to be headed in their direction...

Gretcha switches her gaze to the townie in the middle (-1 to Will saves) and then casts unwitting ally on him. DC 14 Will save with a -1 penalty. If he fails, he is treated as an ally for flanking for one round.

Bart scampers around, playing leapfrog with Torch as he gets to the far side of the tree, flicks another 'toothpick' from his back and throws at the northern raker.

Botting Nuz and Beeg
Mugmuff steps over and slides his dogslicer in between the ribs of the man heading towards Torch, dealing him a horrifying wound and dropping him to the dirt. Gretcha gives the man with the shovel a stare, chanting out the syllables to a spell as she puts the whammy on him. His eyes dart all around him as he struggles to properly identify where the threats are coming from. Bart tosses another javelin at the man to the north, the weapon burying itself in him. Coupled with the gunshot wound and the burns from the flaming bomb splash he falls to the ground, quite dead. Beeg works to reload Da Boom as Nuz moves into a better position to hold off the wave of townies rushing towards them.
From the east, several more townies can be seen approaching the small footpath bridge leading over the runoff ditch running through this area. To the north several townies, including a large man barking orders at three sizable dogs, approaches quickly. Suddenly, several goblins emerge from the shadows, two of them leaping from their hiding spots on the roof of an adjacent home. Unfortunately, both leaping goblins were far too eager for the taste of longshank blood and fall to the ground with a thud. You hear the sound of bones cracking as one of the goblins lies on the ground, motionless.
The remaining townie facing the goblins decides that this is all too much for him, and turns to flee the scene, withdrawing from the fight to join his friends to the north.
Goblins are up. Enemies incoming!

Mugmuff and Bart both look for a place to hide, seeing the oncoming pack of dogs, and leaving Torch and Gretcha standing in the middle of the street.
Since you both have valid readied actions, and movement should actually happen at once instead of one at a time, I'll adjust accordingly and see how many you might get.
Beeg and Nuz fire their weapons, aiming for the longshanks to the north. Both attacks hit their mark, Nuz's arrow sinking into the man the second before the loud shot from Da Boom blows the man's head clean off.
The humans to the north converge on the newly emerged goblin threat and pound them quickly into submission. Two of the dogs continue their approach and as soon as they come within range they are blasted by a shower of brilliant colors and the explosion of a goblin bomb. The bomb barely misses one of the dogs, impacting the ground instead and sending flaming bits of debris on both of the canines. After the smoke clears one of the dogs is knocked out and the other continues its rush towards Gretcha. The dog rips into Gretcha's leg, tearing goblin flesh and leaving a nasty looking wound.
Several men appear from across the ditch to the east, hustling to engage the goblin attackers.
Gretcha takes 5 damage and the goblins are up!

Mufmuff leaps from hiding and slices the dogslicer deeply into the beast attacking Gretcha, the weapon keeping true to its name and ripping a jagged wound across the neck of the dog and killing it in one hit. Gretcha, her target for the spell now dead, quickly adjusts and sends the magic missile shooting towards the other dog near her, blasting it with magical energy. Bart lets a javelin fly towards the man near him, the same one that Gretcha put the stinkeye on earlier. The missile pierces his chest, blasting out the other side, and dropping the townie to the mud, dead as a doornail. Torch, seeing the approaching humans to the east, chucks a bomb at the group, nailing one of the men and catching him on fire. His body falls to the ground as the smell of charred flesh and hair fills the air. The other men, and Beeg, catch shrapnel from the bomb as well. Suddenly, the powder in Beeg's horn ignites from the blast, exploding in a terrifying blast that rocks the area. Chunks of Beeg and townie rain down from the sky as the goblin is obliterated by the explosion of black powder. When the smoke clears the only thing left is a small pair of goblin boots on the ground. Nuz falls back a step, wiping bits of Beeg from his face as he levels his bow at one of the approaching townies and fires. The arrow rockets into the man's skull, piercing his eye and killing him in one shot.
The longshanks press the attack, and the only remaining townie from the east closes in on Gretcha as the dog shuffles forward to bite her. The nimble goblin proves to be too fast for the attacks, quickly dodging out of the way of both of them. To the north, another townie and dog close the distance with a now-visible Bart, and launch their attacks against the sneaky goblin. The dog manages to bite into goblin flesh and delivers a serious wound to Bart's big giant head, which was an easy target for the hungry canine.
Creative license used for the departure of Beeg. Normally the powder horn would have prevented such damage, but hey, it was broken or something! :)

Gretcha unleashes more missiles at the dog, the arcane force pounding into the creature and smashing it into the ground. Torch fumbles with his torch for a moment, attempting to hit the townie in front of him but only catching air with his swing. Mugmuff takes advantage of the situation and stabs the distracted man in the back, ripping through his clothing and opening the townie's spleen for the world to see. Bart, suddenly finding himself surrounded, steps back and raises his horsechopper defensively, working to fend off any attacks.

Nuz fires another arrow at the approaching human to the north, but the shot goes wide.
The big man who was controlling the dogs charges forward, intent on skewering Mugmuff on his spear. The weapon strikes true and blasts past Mugmuff's defenses, dealing him a vicious wound. The dog and townie attempt to penetrate Bart's defenses but their blows are deflected by his horsechopper and overly large head.
Suddenly a loud boom erupts from the north and the townie facing Bart suddenly finds himself with a rather unfortunate loss of vision, as his face explodes in an eruption of skull fragments and brain matter, spraying across Bart's big fat head and leaving him covered in gore.
The party, plus someone with a Purpus, is up!
