If Agerron has enough in his share, I'll order a mwk greatsword.

male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller

Bran will take the cash for now.

Gamemaster

Guys!

Why didn't someone point out that CMD is no check?

I'm sorry for missremembering that rule, you would have an easier time breaking free there...
My bad. I'm so sorry.

Gamemaster

I finally got around to update the calendar and exploration map linked in my profile. Check them out.

From past experience, I will likely have limited internet while in China and Italy, and posting may be spotty while in Florida. I will update as often as I can, but if anything gets held up while waiting for me, feel free to DMPC Agerron as needed.

Agerron's player is a not-so-secret-agent and regularly goes on assignment. He pretends to be all sad about it, but I can tell he's smiling when he lets us know he'll be gone for a bit.

Heh, I wish ;-). Actually, I absolutely hate flying, so a 15-hour direct flight to Shanghai in coach is pretty close to my definition of hell. And 8 hours to Amsterdam, followed by 1 1/2 to Turin (also in coach), is a close second. Although the cities are nice...

Grand Lodge

Anybody out there?

Still here...watching and waiting. :)

male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller

I am guessing the holidays is to blame really.

Franz has been pretty quiet for a while in the Savage Tide game as well.

FYI, I'll have limited internet access until Dec. 31. Merry wintertime!

Grand Lodge

The new year is here. I do so hope that this game comes back.

male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller

I have not heard from sothal in some time. Holiday madness maybe, I do hope all is well. I'll shoot him a email and see.

Gamemaster

I hope you all had nice holidays and a happy New Year, welcome in 2012.

Yes, I have been absent, and I'm sorry I didn't tell anyone. It was my bad, I really should have thought of you guys.

Alas I was occypied, first with christmas visits to relatives, later with the GF looking for a new car and her not nowing what it should be (still undecided, but we are down to two prime candidates and two runner ups now).

At work, we have a new inquiry waiting to be handled, but I hope it's not going to kill most of my time.

So far, I think to be able to pick up the game again, and I hope everyone of you has time and will to play as well.

Please let me know if you have any problems, issues or comments to the game!

No problem, good to have you back!

male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller

Glad you're back man.

Grand Lodge

Welcome back, your dreams were your ticket out.

Welcome back, to that same old place that you laughed about.

Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've hot him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

Welcome back!

Gamemaster

Thanks guys.

Sorry for not being so responsive, I've lost my regular internet access. Looking in and contributing when I can. *bows*

Gamemaster

Anything you still want to do before I handle the night?

Is the DM talking to Xanda?

Nope, nothing comes to mind for the character other than getting as good a night's sleep as possible. :)

*Bows*

Gamemaster

Nah, was a general question.

Nope. I suspect Big Ern will be taking some sick leave in the near future, though... ;-)

All - once again, I am heading off to Italy for business, leaving tomorrow and returning on the 4th. Please DMPC Agerron as needed.

O_o

Well...that could have gone better....

male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller

I need to really change my spells at some point....

I'll be away with limited internet access until Monday (Feb 13).

Gamemaster

Hey fellas!

Right now I'm pretty swamped at work, don't have much free time.
A project nears completion, so deadline (in two weeks) and all.

Sorry for not being available right now.
Once the project's done...

*Salutes* No worries. All's well worth the wait. Wishing you and yours all the very best. (^_^)

male Human 8th level seeker/6th level gamer /4th level bad speller

Its cool man, it happens

Gamemaster

Last week of project nears. We have to hope to make the deadline.
Man that thing's a bad one.
Pain in the ass and all.

An inquiry for a three year contract. We have to make a bid, even though we know that, should we get the contract, we have a huge problem as we don't have people with the know-how to fulfil the contract. At least not within our division.
But the company has to submit a bid, or we lose our face...

So much for my problem.

Very best wishes to you DM Sothal.

Much cheers to you and yours.

Gamemaster

Life's hitting me.

We haven't finished the last bid, but we already got a new inquiry, due in 3 weeks.

Just so you know.

Right now I don't even know the scope of things, could be something small.

I am still watching and waiting.

Best wishes to you and yours DM Sothal. *Bows*

Gamemaster

Hey! Good news! [/sarcasm] I got no time for life at all anymore.

Another inquiry came in today.

I'm thinking of turning sick... but I need the job.

Bummer. Keep your chin up, Franz!

Fem Elf Bard 3

Still whishing yourself and yours the very best DM Sothal.

Still looking in and keeping a candle burning in the window. (^_^)

Gamemaster

Yeah, I'm alive, but work still has me swamped.

The project we finished end of Feb? Coming back to get us. And the two bids aren't really worked on yet. We didn't get an extension on the deadline(s).

And one colleague has gotten sick.
So, yeah.
Officially we only work 10 hours a day. Officially.

I do keep an eye on here (and on Seekers game), the moment I take a minute to breath, but I don't have the time and mind to post something. Sorry guys.

Fem Elf Bard 3

Hey, no worries. Real Life gets us with broad-sides some times.

Just wishing yourself and yours the very best.

The new arrival:
The well built man has traveled with the caravan since its journey began in the main city far to the North.

Wrapped in chain-mail armor and a long, heavy scabbard across his back, he seems content to walk beside one of the supply wagons as the group slowly trundles South, towards the wilds and the small dot upon the map labeled 'Olegs'. He takes turns with the watch, all though here, in the 'settled' lands such a thing is more formality than necessary. Once closer to the edges of civilization, his actions become more intense in his duties of keeping watch over the sleeping others and gazing across the landscape as the wagons rolls South.

Upon sight of the wooden walls of the stockade the man makes no comment (Assuming the former Bandits still grace the walls) He says nothing of those who hang outside, walking silently into the compound and thence helping with the unloading and shifting of goods from the wagons into there places within Oleg's.

With the coming of the new day Tyr rises, bathes, breakfasts and then walks up to Oleg.

"Shovel." Is all he simply says, crosses his well muscled arms and waits, (Hopefully receiving said implement soonish) Once so equipped, wearing but a simple straw hat, shirt and breeches he calmly walks out-side and begins to dig. The pit is roughly four feet X six feet and he continues down for an equal amount. Carefully lifting out any large rocks and setting them to one side from the growing pile of dirt on the other.

It soon becomes obvious that Try's strength and stamina are up to the task of his labors.

Once finished Tyr sets the shovel aside, walks into the stockade and sees if there are any spare sacks and 'Quick lime'. (Again, hoping such supplies are available in the Trading post).

Taking these he proceeds to cut down one of the hanging figures. When asks or confronted he simply replies.

"They've met their judgement. What this place doesn't need are 'trophies'." So saying he packs quick lime into the sacks and then wraps said sacks around the body. Then hauls the bundle to the grave and deposits within. Tyr spends time stacking the sorted rocks over the corpse before returning the dirt to the hole. Once the day is done he returns to Oleg's and proceeds to bathe, eat and rest. With the coming night, he spends a watch looking out over the walls. Occasionally he stops to inspect the wooden siege machines that rest, mouldering, there.

With the new day, Tyr simple does again what he did the day before and continues each following day until all of the deceased bandits are placed in the ground.

Just a little something to introduce the replacement character and keep things chugging along while folks get over their Real Life things. :)

Gamemaster

Hey guys!

Once again, I'm not dead (yet)...

The inquiries (Inquisition? huh?) have been taken care of. They have been submitted and the next week should have been better, if it wasn't for Easter-holidays.

3 or 4 workmates will be away for the week. I got no kids, so I have no reason to be at home, therefore I have to take over. And look what they got: unfinished inquiries!
Well, one of those actually, and a second that we got on Friday.

Anyway, that's the situation.

Oh, and we know that one or two inquiries are just being made ready to get sent to us.

NO worries. Still looking in an keeping a candle lit. :)

Much cheers to you and yours.

Grand Lodge

The dream that is Queslonia still lives.

Keep dreaming, Leafy Joe...

Here is to hoping that those who've survived the combat with the plant make it back to Oleg's safely. :)

Gamemaster

Status:

It looks better for the coming weeks. I'm still a bit wound up, but I'm dedicating hours to the games again.

There wasn't too much happening in Seekers game, from what I see, so I don#t have to read up all that much, which is good.

Grand Lodge

Queslonia! Queslonia! We give our fealty to thee! Working on the national anthem.

Good to hear things are going well for you and yours. DM Sothal.

Am ready to get back in the saddle any time you are. :)

Much cheers to you and yours.

Gamemaster

*bumpbump* That thing still on?

Has anyone seen my update?
