Just to give everyone a 'head's up' - my December is going to be extremely hectic. I will be in China from December 3-7; then in Italy from December 10-15. Finally, we leave for vacation (Florida) on the 17th and will be back on January 3rd. From past experience, I will likely have limited internet while in China and Italy, and posting may be spotty while in Florida. I will update as often as I can, but if anything gets held up while waiting for me, feel free to DMPC Agerron as needed.
Agerron's player is a not-so-secret-agent and regularly goes on assignment. He pretends to be all sad about it, but I can tell he's smiling when he lets us know he'll be gone for a bit.

Heh, I wish ;-). Actually, I absolutely hate flying, so a 15-hour direct flight to Shanghai in coach is pretty close to my definition of hell. And 8 hours to Amsterdam, followed by 1 1/2 to Turin (also in coach), is a close second. Although the cities are nice...

I hope you all had nice holidays and a happy New Year, welcome in 2012.
Yes, I have been absent, and I'm sorry I didn't tell anyone. It was my bad, I really should have thought of you guys.
Alas I was occypied, first with christmas visits to relatives, later with the GF looking for a new car and her not nowing what it should be (still undecided, but we are down to two prime candidates and two runner ups now).
At work, we have a new inquiry waiting to be handled, but I hope it's not going to kill most of my time.
So far, I think to be able to pick up the game again, and I hope everyone of you has time and will to play as well.
Please let me know if you have any problems, issues or comments to the game!

Welcome back, your dreams were your ticket out.
Welcome back, to that same old place that you laughed about.
Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.
Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)
Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've hot him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

Last week of project nears. We have to hope to make the deadline.
Man that thing's a bad one.
Pain in the ass and all.
An inquiry for a three year contract. We have to make a bid, even though we know that, should we get the contract, we have a huge problem as we don't have people with the know-how to fulfil the contract. At least not within our division.
But the company has to submit a bid, or we lose our face...
So much for my problem.

Yeah, I'm alive, but work still has me swamped.
The project we finished end of Feb? Coming back to get us. And the two bids aren't really worked on yet. We didn't get an extension on the deadline(s).
And one colleague has gotten sick.
So, yeah.
Officially we only work 10 hours a day. Officially.
I do keep an eye on here (and on Seekers game), the moment I take a minute to breath, but I don't have the time and mind to post something. Sorry guys.

Tyr Thordinsjon |

Wrapped in chain-mail armor and a long, heavy scabbard across his back, he seems content to walk beside one of the supply wagons as the group slowly trundles South, towards the wilds and the small dot upon the map labeled 'Olegs'. He takes turns with the watch, all though here, in the 'settled' lands such a thing is more formality than necessary. Once closer to the edges of civilization, his actions become more intense in his duties of keeping watch over the sleeping others and gazing across the landscape as the wagons rolls South.
Upon sight of the wooden walls of the stockade the man makes no comment (Assuming the former Bandits still grace the walls) He says nothing of those who hang outside, walking silently into the compound and thence helping with the unloading and shifting of goods from the wagons into there places within Oleg's.
With the coming of the new day Tyr rises, bathes, breakfasts and then walks up to Oleg.
"Shovel." Is all he simply says, crosses his well muscled arms and waits, (Hopefully receiving said implement soonish) Once so equipped, wearing but a simple straw hat, shirt and breeches he calmly walks out-side and begins to dig. The pit is roughly four feet X six feet and he continues down for an equal amount. Carefully lifting out any large rocks and setting them to one side from the growing pile of dirt on the other.
It soon becomes obvious that Try's strength and stamina are up to the task of his labors.
Once finished Tyr sets the shovel aside, walks into the stockade and sees if there are any spare sacks and 'Quick lime'. (Again, hoping such supplies are available in the Trading post).
Taking these he proceeds to cut down one of the hanging figures. When asks or confronted he simply replies.
"They've met their judgement. What this place doesn't need are 'trophies'." So saying he packs quick lime into the sacks and then wraps said sacks around the body. Then hauls the bundle to the grave and deposits within. Tyr spends time stacking the sorted rocks over the corpse before returning the dirt to the hole. Once the day is done he returns to Oleg's and proceeds to bathe, eat and rest. With the coming night, he spends a watch looking out over the walls. Occasionally he stops to inspect the wooden siege machines that rest, mouldering, there.
With the new day, Tyr simple does again what he did the day before and continues each following day until all of the deceased bandits are placed in the ground.
Just a little something to introduce the replacement character and keep things chugging along while folks get over their Real Life things. :)

Hey guys!
Once again, I'm not dead (yet)...
The inquiries (Inquisition? huh?) have been taken care of. They have been submitted and the next week should have been better, if it wasn't for Easter-holidays.
3 or 4 workmates will be away for the week. I got no kids, so I have no reason to be at home, therefore I have to take over. And look what they got: unfinished inquiries!
Well, one of those actually, and a second that we got on Friday.
Anyway, that's the situation.
Oh, and we know that one or two inquiries are just being made ready to get sent to us.
