Void kineticist?

Any chance for this to become reality??

I certainly hope it'll make a return.

They left the option open for new elements in the Rage of Elements, but given how scarce new subclasses for other classes have been in the lifetime of PF2 I wouldn't hold my breath. If there's a book it's a really good fit for they can do it.

Maybe but I'm not expecting it. Paizo has been printing class specific options fairly rarely and kineticist elements are a huge page commitment.

Maybe archetype.

I could see one fitting in the upcoming Tian Xia books, void has been discussed in their elemental cosmology before, but I think if that was happening we'd have heard about it already. I also suspect we'd see something so major in a main RPG line.

I would be ecstatic were this to happen, but agree that it is distressingly unlikely outside of perhaps an ap or something set in Minkai.

I have fond memories of my chaokineticist necromancer.

There's a 3rd party book for it here, though I haven't read it myself.

If they do bring it back something tells me that the at will Reverse Gravity aura isn't coming back.

I think it's less about finding a book where it would fit and more about whether Paizo would commit the page space to it.

Including all the material a kineticist element is close to 3 pages.

To contrast, an Investigator Methodology or Swashbuckler Style is a single paragraph and Paizo hasn't been willing to publish a new one of those in three years of game.

Heck, it might even be longer, assuming you also wanted to make composite feats for each other element to fully weave it in.

I would wait to see if they add any kineticist stuff to future books where it fits before I would worry about adding new elements. There are lots of options to give new feats or impulses and if they're not going to give those, then I wouldn't expect new elements.

Well we do get new classes more often than stuff for old classes.

It doesn't seem too hard to house rule if you would like.

Theorycrafting to do so with a fire kineticist that I was interested in playing as a "hellfire" warlock type character, like the 3.5 prestige class.
Have versatile blast do spirit(unholy), instead of cold, that did d4's for damage. And/or make a feat to add the sanctified(unholy) trait to the fire damage.

Since there is an example of a vitaliy blast with the wood element it would probably be even easier to reverse engineer for yourself.
Might just take some current impulses and overflows that have also have the vitality tag and convert them to use void and reflavor them to get started on a bespoke list of feats as well. Unless you're wanting it for society play then you might be in for a long wait as everyone has said.

I'd probably give the void kineticist some combination of void, cold since they're draining away energy, and maybe bludgeoning as a nod to 1E's inclusion of gravity, myself.

I could see acid possibly working too if we assume acid is like the disintegration tech from SF, too.
