I miss the “Dunedain” human ancestry

Human with long-life from ancient human ancestry. In Characters Guide there are a lot of humans but are just region and/or appearance related, with no real relevance.

It would be very interesting having something like this for making characters like Aragorn, and for long campaigns (a set of adventures during a long time).

Liberty's Edge

If you're interested in that narrative, many of the versatile heritages canonically have a longer lifespan than typical humans. Taking something like Nephilim would make your character longer-lived, based on existing lore. That being said, the exact ages that all of the ancestries live to, and when they become mature, or all a bit more ambiguous in PF2. Given that, YMMV with versatile heritages changing all that much, if your GM is interested in making this sort of thing relevant.

I think the Azlanti lived longer? At least they got +2 to all ability scores in PF1.

I wish they would have added some options for human ethnicities. For example, I find it odd that the Shoanti as a culture don’t have a feat allowing access to at least a short bow at the start. My Shoanti Druid feels strange having his primary ranged weapon being a crossbow.

Unconventional weaponry is pretty much exactly what you're looking for.
